Where is the forest products industry in the US doing well?
The general industry outlook is pretty negative. Is that happening everywhere? What regions, or segments of the industry, are thriving?
For example, I've heard that some outfits harvesting high grade walnut in the Midwest are doing exceptionally well right now. I've also heard of some small operators doing very well selling firewood in New England.
