Of course its Switzerland

Hey everyone, I drew 2 Portraits of my favorite WC Players and wanted it to share with you guys. The last World Cup was so exciting and I can't wait for the next season to start^^ Lots of Love to all the players grinding so hard and giving us the best entertainment possible! I may draw some more players. Who should I do next? :)

Hi all! I recently discovered the world of competitive GeoGuessr watching the 2026 World Championship. I wrote an essay about it, exploring how people get so ridiculously good at identifying places from a dirt patch on Google Street View. I spoke to a few people from the scene (Ribeirete, Bloom and Mikael Falgard, the co-founder and CMO) to learn more about the game, its community, and what drives people to master such a niche skill.

Thought some of you might enjoy it! Would love to hear what you think.

Cinematography?

i know it’s not geogeusser but god did it make me laugh still got the country wrong though…

I’ve been playing the daily challenge daily for the last month and a bit and been really enjoying it after not playing since everything else became paywalled. I want to start playing more and improving my skills. obviously to do that I need a subscription and the steam pass one is £1 cheaper per month, which is quite significant when I’m a teen not making any money. ive seen people on here say that it’s so much worse than the web version and I wanted to ask if that really is the case and if I should be getting the web version.

Genuinely confused about the last round. what did i miss? Or is my opponent just cheating?

Literally nothing in this round said France broo, help a brother out

Does anyone else find the first frame deeply unsettling?

And I was so happy I could find such a small town on the map...but Romania said sike

All rewards for the horrorguessr special

Has geoguessr changed what's included in its base subscription? I can't play distance royale or any of the other multiplayer games except duels/team duels. Anyone else having this issue? I've checked and my subscription is still active.

truly a duels moment of all time

Got confused on Greece in Duels (NMPZ)

Figured, maybe I can analyze the location for clues that I might have missed, and also find out were the yellow road lines are in Europe. "Red soil" sure is a helpful meta to region guess Greece!

I started playing a couple weeks & after watching many tips n tricks videos & browsing this subreddit i feel like i can get a good general guess most of the time.

I’ve recently been inspired to try n get a gold medal for every country (So far I have 0..) But I’m going to start with countries I’m the most familiar with first: Australia, Mongolia, Canada, USA, maybe Japan.

Any advice on which countries would be the most useful to learn? Should I have my priorities on something else as a new player?

Adjusted to make it screenshot

My Master IV division this week goes from 1149 elo to 296 lol. I’m not sure if this will fix itself overtime after the ELO reset, but this is crazy. I never get matched up with the lower guys to actually gain elo either, but like I’ve said before I really don’t care, as long as I can stay in division. Just gotta get better, but dang!

Quite enjoying the Analytics section, I've been exploring all the countries I've 5ked in. In ranked duels, I've managed to 5k a total of 185 times across 59 countries. It's actually become my side quest while playing to reach a target of 5king every country available in Geoguessr.

My Top 5 Countries I've 5ked in are -

USA - 28

Canada - 13

Australia - 12

India - 10

Mexico - 7

Can you guess which country I'm from based on my Top 5?

he looks at one shop for ages and can pinpoint the exact town?

Previous round was very sus as well. Is he cheating or rainbolt's son?
