My son is going as obi-Wan Kenobi for Halloween he ask me if I could make him a lightsaber and I said yes but just the hilt. So I made him four to pick from.

This is an 89Sabers Fallen Order lightsaber replica redone for Derrick. I initially installed this about 2-3 years ago. Since then, it wasn't working properly anymore and was sent back into the shop for a reinstall. I redesigned the chassis to make it easier for Derrick.
• Installed with a new CFX neopixel
• Custom 2-part chassis by me
• 2-button setup
• Kill switch
• 18650 battery
• Custom crystal chamber with single accent pixel
• 28mm Sumggler's Outpost Elite speaker

Not your usual charger - this one plugs into the blade slot and charges through the blade (very handy)
My one broke, came with a saber I won and I cannot seem
To find it. So looking for some help

Any recommendations? If I put it on my belt, it’s just a bit too long and drags on the ground. Anything I can order before this weekend to make this easier and comfortable enough to walk around with all night?

Blue beam. Has a swivel sleeve. Surprising amount of weight. Thought it had to be d-cell batteries. It's just 3 aaa. I'm not reselling or anything, I'm a big Star wars fan it's mine. Is this a copy of a characters lightsaber or just an original creation?

This is the coupler for a Force FX Darth Maul lightsaber from ~2006. Long story short, my son and I were at a Halloween event dressed as Obi-Wan and Darth Maul, ran into a friend, we went to have a quick duel, and my friend swung his lightsaber very hard, I blocked with the Darth Maul saber, and the coupler snapped. Closest thing I've found online is $100 (at that point I'll just start saving for a new saber) and the threading doesn't even look right. Any advice on just making my own with parts I can buy? I'm upset since I've kept the thing from breaking for almost 20 years, but I just wanna get a coupler that works so my kid can play it. I know I can probably pick something up at Home Depot, but what about making it adjustable the way this one is so you can line the sabers up properly when joined by the coupler? (If you're unfamiliar there's a screw you loosen with an Alan wrench to twist the two sides as needed to line the sabers up)

Hi All. It’s been a while since I’ve posted. I haven’t been idle, just very focused on learning new things to advance my skillset. Learn some CAD, get my first 3D printer, Arduino IDE………. Man, it’s been a busy little bit. I hope you all will enjoy some pics of what I’ve been up to. The new Saber is done but i just haven’t had the time to do a photo shoot. I doesn’t have a name yet so if anyone’s interested in tossing in ideas that would be welcome.

Hey guys, I posted earlier about identifying a neosabers darksaber and I appreciate all the help I got! I ended up getting the saber and I had a couple questions about the charging etiquette. I'm well aware of the 5v1a and the seller warned me about this as he had previously fried the battery. I have one of these chargers and was wondering if it would be fine to use as I wouldn't be able to use the original cable with this brick. Thank you!

My first saber from VV a few years back. It's a Promethean dark with abalone inlays. Took like two years to build. Wish I could afford another saber but probably looking into something other than VV (lead times and price are nuts and not crazy about their chassis). I had a sabertrio Aeyrn before that I wish I still had and a couple screen accurate builds through various smiths (emperor and graflex mainly) but unfortunately had to sell. Any other companies you all like right now that I should look into besides Sabertrio ?

Hello again, everyone! It appears I am still on the hunt for the right switch for my saber design! However, that's not what I'm looking for today. Today, I am looking for the proper USB-C charging port to add to my custom saber chassis and hilt. To me, I only see one option that might work best for my specific chassis design. However, since I am still learning about what's best for a custom saber and don't yet know all the super fine details, I thought I'd ask you guys.
The only charging port I see that might fit my specific chassis design is the device on the left circled in blue. The one on the right looks more like a male power connector than the other two, and the one in the middle looks like it might be more difficult to install. Also, how would I even install the female USB-C receptacle port?

Remember the Goofy inflatable lightsaber that came out right after Star Wars? It was just a a flashlight with an inflatable plastic blade and I dreamed about having something better.
Last year I got the One on the left from Target. It's one of the stacked tube type.
The one in the middle I picked up the other day for $3 in the garage sale
The last one obviously is a decent quality neopixel saber

Hey all! Figured I'd share pics of my 3 latest 3D printed lightsaber hilts.
I'm absolutely in love with them, the designs go so hard IMO. So glad I found the project. I'll link to a short I made so you can see them in video during nighttime.
The designs are from Brisingr's SABER project. I'll link to his Thingiverse and Ko-Fi at the bottom.
I used several resin's and PETG for the parts I printed, and did the painting and weathering myself as well.
This makes 4 completed lightsabers for me. I plan to print more, as well as one or two from another 3D printable lightsaber project. That said, I find these designs really inspiring, and they have me thinking about sabers for characters in my SW TTRPG setting I'm cooking up lol.
Hope you all enjoy, and thank you for your time! Have a good one!

For me, it’s the combination of the glowing blade, the unique sounds, and the incredible designs. There’s something about a lightsaber that makes it feel more special than an ordinary collectible.
I’m curious about other fans here: was it a particular scene, a character, the sound design, or simply the look of the saber that got you hooked?
And if you could own just ONE lightsaber, which one would you choose? 👀

I love my Luke E6 saber (SN V4 Pro) but the D ring isn’t rigid anymore and just swings freely. As a result I wound up with some scuffs and scratches on my chassis. I know the chrome’s gonna get some wear and tear, but for now I figured I’d customize it a bit and put some black rubber grip tape on it. Now the D ring can’t do any damage. Anybody else have that problem with the triangle ring getting loose?

Colin from xtralife is a conman. They sold me a bad product, refused to refund me despite several videos showcasing the issue and proving the lightsaber did NOT work, then he left me on read for almost a month. When I followed up and was rightfully upset he told me to kick rocks. After hours of pulling teeth and having to threaten legal action they’ve finally agreed to refund me but I have to pay shipping out of my own pocket, which is ludicrous considering the customer experience they’ve given me.
This is the worst experience I’ve had with a lightsaber company. Be wary. Colin is a scammer. They sell bad products and do not treat their customers with any care whatsoever.

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to create my first custom font on a Xenopixel V3 board using a pre-existing font as a base. I’m having severe audio distortion issues and could use some advice on whether what I’m trying to do is possible, or how font creators handle background music.
What I’m trying to do:
I replaced out (1).wav with a quote from Malenia (Elden Ring) saying her name.
I want to play her boss track alongside the saber effects.
The Problem:
Track + Saber Clash/Motion: When playing the track while the saber is ON, the sound effects (clash, swing) severely clash with the music and cause harsh, muddy audio distortion.
Track Off-State Distorting: When playing the track while the saber is OFF, it creates a small "boom boom" / clipping noise through the speaker, even though I lowered the overall volume of the track in Audacity. The track does not sound clean.
Hum Swap Attempt: I tried deleting the original hum.wav and renaming the music file to hum.wav so it acts as the continuous background audio. It gave the exact same distorted, blown-out result.
Has anyone successfully run full orchestral music on a Xenopixel V3 without overloading the speaker? Is replacing hum.wav with a full OST track the way to go?
Any feedback or settings would be greatly appreciated!
