And we have 2 1st rd picks invested in it as well. Really just a disaster.

This was some decent insight into why the Panthers run defense still struggles despite the large investments we've made. For those not interested in "a long-winded way of saying Evero sucks", this is obviously not the video for you, but if anyone wants a more detailed breakdown, I thought it was worth a listen. Nate Tice's main takeaways were:
They end the conversation by pointing out that Evero has been here since 2023, which is "way too long to be running into this mistake", in their words. Obvious stuff, but validating to hear it from someone outside the fanbase, at least to me.

Vibes were immaculate leading up to kickoff, but knew after the first drive that this rush defense was going to get exposed real bad like Chicago did. With the muffed punt, well... lol
This 4th-and-goal sums up my feelings of frustration, unable to score even at what is already garbage time. Prayers up for T-Mo, guy can NEVER catch a break

THE SKY HAS FALLEN.
OUR SEASON IS OVER.
HOPEIUM SUPPLY IS AT AN ALL TIME LOW.
THE BAD MAN IS STILL HERE AND STILL HURTING US.
THEY’RE SAYING HE WILL BE AT THE HELM UNTIL THE NEXT TURN OF THE CENTURY.
WE ARE PAST JAY Z’S YEAR 7 PLAN.
IT IS UNCHARTED TERRITORY OF ASS THAT WE WRE IN.
LEGEND HAS IT, BUCKY IRVING IS STILL RUNNING THE SAME PLAY ON US.
REPORTS OF PTSD ARE AT AN ALL TIME HIGH FOR OUR DEFENSIVE UNIT.
WE MAY NEVER WIN ANOTHER GAME.

I believe I am the reason we lost, the only two panthers games I've ever gone to was against the saints at home last season and the one yesterday. I am realizing I'm the problem and have decided that I am this team's bad luck charm and will no longer attend anymore games in the future . My apologies for this one, it won't happen again

Just need to rip the band aid off on the defense and avoid injuries while making adjustments. I do believe the talent is there. Just me tho

Bryce Young's time to pressure faced by week, per @SumerSports:
\* Wk 7: 2.42
\* Wk 6: 2.54
\* (Wk 5 bye)
\* Wk 4: 2.58
A quick pressure is defined as under 2.5 seconds. That means Bryce averaged a quick pressure on every drop back in week 7. Prior to week 7 Bryce was second in the league in drop backs under pressure despite having an early bye - hes been pressured 83 times this season with another 16 added this week.
With Panthers RT getting ankle season injury and going out from the game except more pressure on Mr Young

That’s 17 sacks in six starts. Tampa strip-sacked him for a TD, and the pocket never settled before Moton went down with a fractured fibula.
Who plays right tackle, and can the offense hold up?

It’s clear that the team will try to solve this outside of the public eye. As they should. But I’m curious, what can actually be done?
If it’s Evero scheming and not scheme? Could we fire him and promote someone underneath him?
If it’s Evans, when do we give Thornton a shot or trade for someone else?
On offense, is anyone playing good snaps on the OL?
I’m just curious what people think should LOGICALLY change. We shouldn’t burn the house down, but it was hard to see how to regroup after whereas after the bears it was “defense must be better”
