Discussion Climbing plant ideas

Hello!

I am looking for a suitable houseplant that will enjoy growing on this old mannequin I have.

It used to house my star jasmine, but it outgrew it, so I had to move her.

I need suggestions for a plant that will be happy climbing , does not require full sun and will be happy with 6-8 hours of bright indirect light. I have a golden pothos that is thriving and I've taken some cuttings, so maybe that?

Bonus points for plants that aren't toxic to cats!

Any ideas appreciated!

Plant ID Fluctuating between despair and rage

I have…. had…. this beautiful plant outside my window. I’d get up every day and check on it. Friday I came home and someone had tore it out of the ground. Not just that, but they split it in half down the middle and threw the pieces away. I just don’t understand why.

I have no idea what type of plant it was and I was hoping someone could help me. I bought it at Home Depot 6 years ago from the clearance section. It’s very drought tolerant…. was…. it had these beautiful yellow flowers that looked like orchids. zone 10. 4 feet tall.

My caterpillars loved to eat it during the summer šŸ’”

Bought some sweet potatoes a couple months ago and this one grew stems and i love its vibrant colors, a week or so ago i noticed that the stems extremities were starting to wither and i got so worried i was gonna lose my baby, putting it in water was the best decision i’ve done. It’s thriving and growing stronger and taller stems with each day and i couldn’t be happier🄹
I live in a studio apartment and wanted a little plant but didn’t know which to get, feels like i was given this on a silver plate.

Help Rubber plant propogation advice

Post image
• Upvotes

Hey all, I need advice. Recently my plant lost all of its lower leaves. I suspect either from the trunk corking or from stress of a recent move. Notice that the green of the trunk is only near the top where the leaves remain. What should I do. Can I chop and prop? Will any of the lower trunk propagate? Or should I cut to the green and throw away the middle? My other idea is to notch it above the nodes and attempt to grow leaves.

One more idea is to embrace it and throw some pothos in with it as I started to do and go for a whimsical plant lol.

Effect of pot size on plant growth

Post image

It seems logic but nevertheless amazing: Both trees were planted at same time and size to both pots. The right one has a 4 times bigger pot and also grew 4 times taller/faster than the left one.

I’ve got a few leaves on my fiddle leaf that are turning brown and crispy help please!

I bought this fiddle leaf about a month ago. I repotted it when I got it home into my normal indoor potting soil that is well draining and into a container that has holes as I water all my plants through to avoid root rot.
I have a humidifier in my apartment that stays around 60%. I have it near an east facing window with plenty of light.

This is a photo from my trip to the Atlanta, Georgia "Alice in Wonderland" Event at the Botanical Gardens. The amount of work that is put into placing each and every flower in these exhibits is astonishing.
