I collected some user-facing pages at a separate subdomain: learn.raku.online. The most interesting part, to my opinion, is the section called "Raku as a foreign language", where Raku is taught as if a student already speaks another language and learns Raku as a second tongue.
Other sections on this site:
All the above formally are side-products of the Raku++ development. I needed these pages to have a corpus of Raku programs in various difficulty levels which cover the whole span of the spectrum. But the result is what the newcomers can use to learn Raku, I think this is quite an interesting site now.
Most of the content is AI-generated (except the Raku Course, which is why it took a while 😄). If you find some errors, feel free to file an issue on GitHub.

William Blake (1802), letter to Thomas Butts:
Now I a fourfold vision see
And a fourfold vision is given to me
Tis fourfold in my supreme delight
And three fold in soft Beulahs night
And twofold Always. May God us keep
From Single vision & Newtons sleep
The Raku Study Group
Sunday October 25, 2026 1pm in California, 9pm in the UK
An informal meeting: drop by when you can, show us what you've got, ask and answer questions, or just listen and lurk.
Perl and programming in general are fair game, along with Raku,
Information about upcoming meetings can always be found here:

I packed my Raku Course, added the Raku++ compiler, and here we are, the "Learn Raku" app for iOS and Android.
The app includes the whole content of the Course, and where possible, you can run the code directly from the page in the app. The users can also open the examples in the built-in playground editor, which additionally offers a few bigger predefined programs to play with.
An interesting part about the playground is that it is the very same Raku++ engine, even not the WASM port.

Hi all,
I've just published a round of updates to the Raku Guide (https://raku.guide), the introduction to Raku for newcomers.
What's new in the English guide
where constraints, default and required attributes, reading exception messages, and regex anchors, alternation, captures and substitution.New formats
The guide is now available as PDF and EPUB as well, in all 14 languages. Download links are in the README: https://github.com/hankache/rakuguide
Translators wanted
This is where I need help. The guide exists in 13 languages besides English, and after this update all of them are behind the English version. Some more than others:
If you speak Bulgarian, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish or Ukrainian, even a small contribution helps: one section, a rename pass, or a review of what's there. New languages are very welcome too.
How to contribute:
fr.rakuguide.adoc. Always translate from the English file, rakuguide.adoc.[FR].A big thank you to everyone who has translated the guide so far. Feedback and corrections on the English version are welcome as always.

I've been working on Keayl, a Model-View-Controller web framework for Raku.
It's server-side, with ORM::ActiveRecord and Template::HAML included. Testing is supported using BDD::Behave.
Some core features:
- Resourceful routing with namespaces, scopes, concerns, and URL helpers
- Controllers with filters, strong parameters, and rescue-from
- Views written in HAML, with layouts, partials, and helpers
- ORM::ActiveRecord: migrations, relations, validations, callbacks, transactions, and encryption on PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite
- Security built in: CSRF protection, signed and encrypted cookies, and encrypted credentials
- Sessions, caching, streaming, background jobs, mail, inbound mail, and websockets
- MVC::Keayl::Admin: an admin interface generated from your ORM models
- A `keayl` CLI for scaffolding, a route table, and a REPL console
Getting started:
zef install MVC::Keayl
keayl new blog
cd blog && keayl server
That gives you a running app on port 3000 with a config, routes, a controller, a view, and a starter spec.
Artistic License 2.0. Feedback, issues, and PRs are welcome.

C.S. Pierce, "How to Make Our Ideas Clear" (1878):
"A single tone may be prolonged for an hour or a day, and it exists as perfectly in each second of that time as in the whole taken together ... [Melody] consists in an orderliness in the succession of sounds which strike the ear at different times; and to perceive it there must be some continuity of consciousness which makes the events of a lapse of time present to us. ... These two sorts of objects, what we are immediately conscious of and what we are mediately conscious of, are found in all consciousness. Some elements (the sensations) are completely present at every instant so long as they last, while others (like thought) ... consist in a congruence in the succession of sensations which flow through the mind. They cannot be immediately present to us, but must cover some portion of the past or future. Thought is a thread of melody running through the succession of our sensations."
