Make sure these images still follow the rules of the sub, and as usual, please report anything that might break those rules.
Happy commenting!

Are there people who dont use social media at all? And have no clue who the famous youtubers etc. are?
I feel like everyone uses social media these days. Even my parents, who didn't know how it works now, use it daily, including my grandmother
I hate that it's become so popular and in trying my best not to use it that often

If you slept every night 12am and woke up 7am would you eventually get used to it?
I've been waking up for school (now uni) for my whole life but I've still never gotten used to it.

Is anyone else noticing incoherent questions on this site?
I just saw a post asking, "Where are starting Borders for you? In common and before relationships?"
Another one that read, "Why love is actually evol mean evil ?"
And another one that read, "Brands like Affliction were wore by trailer park kids, why does Y2K want to LARP being poor?"
Wtf is going on with these dumb questions today?

What happened to water beds?
I remember back in the 80s, my mom had a water bed. It was so weird to sleep on. I remember hearing about several accounts of it going wrong for ppl for obvious reasons. Same with electric blankets (fires). What ultimately happened to them though?

How do I know my job is a pyramid scheme before I make a mistake?
Hey guys, Im new to this subreddit and just joined because I got an interview for a sales job under a group called “The Broker Group”. My only issue is they feel like a pyramid scheme of the sort…I only have my doubts because of how smoothly things are going. This is how its going:
- they want me to pay a $200 to get my state insurance license and take a course that takes 3 weeks to study and pass.
- Im working under a subdivision(?) of the broker group that specializes in retirement plans with banks.
- im gonna be my own boss” down the line, not right off the bat though. Im still a trainee from the beginning and will be shadowing.
- its commission only.
I just want some pointers and insights before paying anything. Looking back I should’ve done this sooner but this job market and me almost being done with school had me antsy and excited I got an interview. Please let me know! Call me stupid or tell me to get out even if this is what a Pyramid scandal would look like.
Edit: i should clarify I dont make money from recruiting people. I make money from the banks paying me a slice of their customer’s plan.

What’s something you’ve done for your partner because they cared but you never personally cared about?
For an example: when I was pregnant I’d wear a necklace daily. My partner’s mother did the same thing when he was a kid and one night she woke up with it twisted around her neck while pregnant, she had a feeling she had miscarried due to the entangled necklace because it had never happened before. Unfortunately, she did miscarry.
I made a point of taking off my necklace each night before going to sleep after hearing that story because I didn’t want that to intensify his fear of a potential miscarriage. He never noticed me do it throughout most of the pregnancy then randomly asked me to take it off before bed one night (which I was going to but hadn’t quite went to bed). That’s when I told him I did it every night.
I personally didn’t care about wearing a necklace to bed, I understood it was probably safer not to but I mainly took off my necklace for him
So what’s a kind gesture you did for your partner because they cared and not because you or both of you cared about?
