Question BPK 143: Health and Performance

Hoping anyone who’s taken this course could share a bit about what it’s actually like? Course description is kind of vague, and I’m especially wondering what the labs would be like.

Discussion Dual degree in Biology and psychology??

I'm a langara student and am wanting to transfer to SFU for Biology and psychology, I already started in Psych but I am also wanting to persue Biology in hopes to get into medschool ngl. Is it possible to Dual degree in both because I don't see that on the website when I look at joint degrees. I'm wondering if it's just better to go to UBC instead (I'd rather do SFU ya'll seem cool even tho the commute might fry me)

Question Illness

Hey guys i need help im in a crisis.

I have become very sick over these last few days and unfortunately i have a midterm for math 154 on wednesday.

I have aches, headaches, fever and fatigue along with shivering.
I have email my professor explaining that i am sick so im wondering he gives me the benefit of the doubt and lets me skip and take it another day. If not it will be added to my final which will then be worth 50% of my grade.

So do i take the exam with zero knowledge of the material or have it added to my final and hope to do better on it. im really not sure guys

Help me i beg!!

Question Chem 122 first midterm

I did pretty poorly on the first midterm only getting 15/25 which is lower than the average which was 16. Does Charles walsby scale the class or does he use the standard stu grading: A+ is 95%+, A is 90% etc.

Discussion Upcoming BUS 331 Midterm

We're given a cheat sheet to write stuff down but I was wondering what you guys are putting down. I feel like I haven't really studied that much and I don't just wanna copy everything word for word on the slides or the practice problems.

Also curious on how much space you are allocating to chapters 14,15, and 16.

Discussion What if the student / Gen-Z uprisings in Serbia, France, Albania etc were to spill into BC in order to demand proportional representation?

Any other students wondering why one of the most left-leaning areas of the world is now being governed by actual, literal pro-Trump fascists & separatists? Are you a member of a vulnerable minority, like me, who is scared to death & angry at the idea of having your rights & supports stripped away?

We clearly have a broken electoral system, & we need to force politicians to give in to our desire for a proportional representation system. Because people in power never voluntarily give up power. We must take it by force. That is how democracy is won. We tried asking nicely, & doing this through conventional channels. It didn't work. So now it's time to take it to the streets, & to shut this province down until we have our demand for PR met.

And while we are at it, I believe we should demand more: we should demand a new retro-active law that requires that at least 50% of voters vote in an election in order for it to be certifiable. If an election does not meet the 50% threshold for voter turn-out, then the election results are rejected, & a new election is called & set at three months from the date of the day of the failed election.

In making this new law retroactive, we can force the rejection of the last election, & have a new vote that will be based on PR.

Just putting it out there.

If you are a student, & think this is a good idea, then please steal it, & go pass it along to the student organizations on campus that you frequent.
