💩 The Pillory
What are you on about? Trump never said Epstein's crimes were a hoax. Did you even read the article?
The hoax is what the hypocritical democrat party is trying to twist it into. They kept all this quiet, tried to sweep it under the rug for four years. Only now are they desperately trying to twist things and say Trump was somehow, magically implicated.
Trump was instrumental in taking down Epstein's whole nasty business.
The dems never cared about Epstein or his victims. Their huge, fake outrage lately, is totally a hoax. Hypocrite
Epstein was being used by the CIA & Mossad.
All that blackmail info from the island went directly to Israel, who it was gathered for in the first place.
They forced a sweetheart deal for Epstein in the first trial.
Then along came Trump, and burned Epstein & Maxwell's whole dirty operation to the ground. Wound up being their worst nightmare. Trump was a key witness in the prosecution that put those two behind bars.

Leftist Dysfunction "This would not surprise me. West pulled away from the Green Party precisely because he did not want his campaign to have an impact. In the end, his personality was instrumentalized by the worst actors. The Western Left is functionally an arm of the (decidedly Rightist) regime."

Sports Florida police called to youth soccer game after alleged dispute involving 3-year-old player
The child’s parents contend he was “scorned” for playing too well at a youth game Saturday, according to the police report.
Social media predictably turned it into "police called on a 3 year old black kid".
I have zero idea what happened here. I don't think the adults in charge should resort to calling 911 over youth soccer league disagreements. But the whole "parents contend" he was "scorned" thing suggests to me the parents were getting overly involved in a 3 year old's soccer game, possibly to the point of arguing with the adults managing the game, and the cops were called on the parents. Considering how often this kind of nonsense happens these days, it would surprise me if it was otherwise. Change the skin color of the kid involved and suddenly social media ignores the parents' behavior.
If your kid is good at soccer at 3 years old, wonderful, I'm so fucking happy for you (/s), but don't be fucking surprised when he's sidelined for a bit so that other 3 year olds get a chance to actually play.
I am a new parent, and I am not looking forward to the childish bullshit from other adults that I will be forced to interact with (other parents, teachers/administrators, activity/program administrators, etc). I realize it's not everyone, but I have such a low tolerance for the childish attitudes.

Question Is American society more anti intellectual or pseudo intellectual?
Anti intellectualism and pseudo intellectualism are extremely common in the US and have been for generations. People either are proudly ignorant and hateful toward experts or blindly cling to the words of ostensible experts and whatever their personal “research” leads them to believe. Every news event leads to a seemingly infinite number of essays, articles, videos, etc. that people of all ideologies and beliefs can cite and use to dismiss those that disagree as idiots and fanatics. The pandemic happened and overnight millions of people became biology experts. Wars happen and overnight millions of people became geopolitical and weapons experts. Someone gets killed on camera and overnight millions of people become law experts. All this from a single video essay, op ed, news segment, etc.
My question is do you think anti intellectualism or pseudo intellectualism are more prevalent in American society?
Which do you think is worse for society overall?

Election (Serbia) 🗳️ Serbia just voted itself into being a literal University Student Soviet Democracy
The victory of the Student List in Serbia means that a "party" with no formal leader, is now in the parliamentary majority. This list was formed out of candidates selected by university student assemblies. Now every cabinet position, prime minister included, is set to be voted on individually by those assemblies. I don't think anything like this has ever happened anywhere else in the history of the world, a country basically directly ran by the university Student demographic. The dream of '68 fulfilled in Serbia.
