Trying to identify the tree in this new-to-me-front yard. It looks pretty unhealthy to me, but wondering if it can be salvaged with proper care or should be removed - thanks for any insights!

Hi! I’m wondering if anyone could identify this for me. I tried an image search on Google but got a few different results. Thank you :)

Good day,
I have this tree that has started to crack down the middle. I am able to make the crack move with some weight. I don't have enough karma to post on the arborists subreddit. I am trying to identify it so that I can research what I could possibly do or if it needs to be removed.
Thank you!

Saw this tree walking around an arboretum today, the only tree with no sign identifying it 😑 my wife and I are big plant people but this stumped us.
From far away it looked like a ginkgo that already dropped its leaves for the winter but we found no ginkgo leaves nearby. I think the branching, buds and leaf scars look like an ash but my wife doesn't agree.

Acorns on top are the suspect tree, on bottom are normal Northern Reds that dominate the savanna this tree was in

I have what I believe to be a cryptomeria. I would like to get a partner for it but I'm not sure if it's a yoshino, radicans, or something else. Pics:

Planted in someone's yard. Large thorns, smooth bark. Yellow fruit that looks like a lemon. Sparse leaves.
