Neutrality for the Next Generation is taking a short drive down Interstate 69! Not even a day after dismantling UH’s violations of election law, we have found violations at UH Downtown. To be clear, political events only having speakers from one party, and sponsored by Student Government and the University, are violations of the law and System policies. We have notified the State of Texas, and reported it to our preferred aggregator, Libs of TikTok. We will fight to ensure neutrality on campus, and our investigation is ongoing. We will seek records from administration and SGA to see what occurred, and will continue to share with the UHD community on this thread.

Very Respectfully,
David Blackman
President and Executive Director,
Neutrality for the Next Generation.

How much should I really take from the rate my professor reviews? I am an English major, and a lot of the professors aren't rated very highly, and it is stressing me out. lol.

Hello Gators,

I’m a Houston photographer who regularly shoots graduation portraits and wanted to promote my services if needed.

Please see the flyer for details and feel free to message me on instagram to book!

Congrats on your upcoming graduation!

my SAP appeal finally got approved and my tuition for this semester is paid for, but i still have aid money left over. should i go talk to someone about whether or not i’m going to get a refund?

Has anyone taken any of Yiding Wang or Diana Pence's classes? If so would you recommend. Rate my professor isn't giving me a great impression of either

is it just me or are there genuinely a very limited amount and choices for classes next semester?

Finance majors at UHD, how have your job prospects been after graduation?
im currently a finance major at UHD and ever since transferring here ive been thinking about job opportunities after graduation. For those who graduated with a finance degree from UHD, were you able to find good jobs in your field?

i’ve heard mixed opinions about UHD, especially when it comes to job opportunities compared to UH and it’s made me a little worried about my future career prospects.

Hi am I able to take classes both at HCC and UHD next semester? Do you recommend I do that while I earn my associates.. I graduate next semester but I wanna get a head start at UHD too.

Hey everyone! Since my last post about starting a tabletop club at UHD, we’ve officially been approved! We’re excited to get things going and meet everyone who’s interested.

Our first interest meeting is November 2, from 2–4 PM, at OMB N728. Come meet other players, play some games, grab free food, and help shape the club!

I’m anticipating a mix of tabletop games like social deduction games, TCGs like Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon and both classic and new board games. We’ll also have socials and hangouts like karaoke and party couch co-op games like Mario Party and Overcooked, so we’re not limited to board games- I want to make this a place to make friends and hang out, too.

We plan to have snacks at meetings and occasionally cater food. We’re open to suggestions for games and activities you’d like to see!

All experience levels are welcome, including anyone who’s just curious and wants to try something new. Bring your favorite games or just bring yourself!
Join our Discord, Instagram and CampusGroups for updates, including the room announcement. You can find us on CampusGroups as Tabletop Club at UHD.

Thanks to everyone who showed interest on my last post! Hope to see y'all around!

I know the semester is basically almost over. but am i the only one still dealing with financial aid? shows my aid never got disbursed. I lowkey forgot about bc i stopped receiving emails about balance due and Im still actively enrolled in my classes. so not sure whats the hold up. uhdfinaid/uhdcashiers are no help

Do they add more classes ?
When does registration open (time ) Oct 29 ?

I can not figure out where to order tickets for Fall 2026 graduation. Is it not available yet? Can someone assist?

hey yall, I’ve been parking at this lot for a while now and honestly im losing my mind at how ppl think it’s okay to park infront or behind a car that already has a car infront or behind them. I’m currently sitting in my car, boxed in, and this is the second time this has happened to me 😭. Is it a common thing for this to happen and if so should I just go ahead and get a student parking pass ?

Hey everyone! I’m hoping to start UHD Tabletop, a club for board games, trading card games, and anything else in that realm- potentially even Warhammer if enough people are interested!

The idea is to have a relaxed social group where you can meet people and find others to play with on campus. Our Discord would help people find games between classes, and club meetings would be hangouts with multiple games running at once so you can jump into whatever interests you. I’d also love to have occasional events like Mario Kart or karaoke nights.

You wouldn’t need to be an experienced player or own any games. I'm thinking of bringing board games (clue, catan, social deduction games, etc) and especially interested in finding others to play MTG with! Whether you already have a favorite or just want to try something new and make friends, you’d be welcome!

I need at least two other students to help get the club started, but I also want to see how many people would be interested in joining. Once we have enough people, I’m planning to organize and promote an interest meeting on campus and build from there.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, join the Discord below! Feel free to comment with games you’d want to play, too. If you’re interested in helping start or run the club, let me know!

Hi everyone I’m graduating this December and tbh I only want the cap and gown and was wondering if anyone was selling theirs? I’m 5’1 and on the bigger side and yuh!

hello everyone, im planning on transferring to UHD from San Jac into the Cybersecurity program. Currently im taking the cybersecurity bachelors program here at san jac, but it feels like all the classes are just COMPTIA book reading and no actual teaching.

How are the classes? and is there internship opportunities? also if youve transferred from a community college, how does it compare?

Hey are there any political science or social science majors that want to get some research experience with a professor coding for a class. If you are interested please reach out to me on here. This is a paid experience.

Hi! I’m currently doing a research project to understand how students are feeling about the community around them in their apartments/home s.

If anyone could take 5 minutes out their day to complete it I would greatly appreciate it. The link is below, thank you!

I.e, will they literally bar me from graduation if I show up in my cap & gown that I already have from high school and community college?

Do they check your receipt? Do the official UHD ones have any identifying features? The set I have is just regular plain black

I'm an online student and don't go to campus often or at all. I am participating in an event this week and was wondering about visitor parking- do I just pay the daily rate for the lot, or can I park in the garage? It says students aren't permitted to park in the garage, but will they really know I'm a student if my car isn't registered with the school? lol silly question, but you know!

hello, my texas grant was finally disbursed at the end of last week i think they had to manually push it according to an email, now there is a negative balance in my account i was wondering how long should i expect to wait for that to clear up?
