hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but i was wondering if anyone in the sarts program can provide any input, i recently went to the open house and did a guided tour of zavitz hall with a prof because i’m planning to apply, and he mentioned that any work the students create in the classes belongs to the school, not to them. i asked if that meant we didn’t have the liberty to use pieces in portfolios, and he said that we could but the school owns the physical item or something? is this true, or can anyone provide any context? it seems a little out of the ordinary that we pay tuition and lab fees yet are unable to keep any of our work.
