Im new to gold making, I was wondering at the start of an expansion if you plan to do crafting, is it better to farm mining/herb and sell them or use those to level up your professions first and then just buy the mats later to level up your proffesions?

I built Weekly Goblin because I wanted one place to see which alt still had weeklies to do, who had concentration available, and how much gold I was making from that routine.

It's an addon for WoW Retail. It includes:

• Weekly quest and Special Assignment tracking per character, with completion percentages and configurable objectives.
• Available gold WQs sorted by reward, with locations, expiry timers and map buttons.
• Gold tracking for WQs and weekly quests, including reward caches, with manual corrections available.
• Profession concentration across characters, with estimates for when it will refill.
• Weekly and lifetime income totals, plus saved history.
• Savings goals using recorded character gold and Warband bank gold, with an estimate of how many weeks remain at your current pace.

There are also entries for profession sales and material costs.

Everything runs inside WoW. No companion app or external account is needed. English and Spanish are supported. Open it with /wg or from addon panel.

Character data updates when you visit each alt; open their professions to refresh those readings.

It's still an early release, and I'd love feedback from people who manage several alts, especially on quest detection, quest/cache gold tracking and how clear the interface feels.

i leveld 26 characters to 80 and almost all of them are on a different schedule, meaning i dont have it synced so that every 4 days you get a full page of orders

if i just quit for a week, will all the characters be on the same "rotation" of patron orders ?

Hi everyone!

I am a returning player, who last played in the very early days of Shadowlands. I was checking out WoW Forever with a friend, and thought I'd poke my head back into retail.

After quickly realizing I've forgotten almost everything, on every character I've leveled, I've decided it might be time to start from scratch, so I'm going to re-roll alliance on a high-pop server, and I'm going to start "Fresh".

Previously, I was big into raw gold farming. I was a protection paladin, solo'ing dungeons, for gold, and was using my enchanting to create materials, and enchantments to sell on the auction house. it seems like with the stat squishes, along with where the economy is at (holy crap, what is with the economy right now!?) this might not be a viable solution.

I've heard that flipping decor for houses might be a good option, and am studying up on that, but I myself have very little knowledge of this, and was actually kinda surprised when I logged in to have a quest about getting a house (How exciting!). I will be honest though, I've never been huge on downloading mods just for flipping items on the AH, I'd rather work on professions, or do item farming routes (Maybe green transmogs are still a hit?) than sitting at the AH all day trying to make the MOST money

I did log in to my old main, and figure out his buttons and rotations and all that good stuff, and I do have a few alts left that I'm going to fool around with, but it almost feels like too much when you're jumping back in, and you've got two rows worth of buttons right off the hop to study and relearn.

So...with that all being said, how would you start farming gold again? Is there a Youtuber I should follow? Can anyone help this ol' man out as he rekindles his passion for gold farming?

I like to make little preparations for goldmaking, even when my gametime are expired. i know some will say why not resub for a better gph but atm i like to take a break.

I've literally farmed lumber on my lvl10-20 toons.i'll spend like 5-10mins perday or zone while listening to podcast.i already thinking which decos im planning to craft and sell.

on holiday events. I'll farm event currencies just to buy limited-time pets or mounts that I can sell on the Auction House later. yes, u can farm them on low lvls expired gametime account.

I'm out here preparing investments, collecting currencies, and thinking about future profits. 😂

The funny thing is, sometimes the preparation feels just as satisfying as actually making the gold.

I am new to gold making. I want so save up and get out of the below 100k slump I am sitting in.

I read about concentration farms everywhere. But no one explains the part where you actually find out what to craft!?

I just did 3 weapon enchants and sold them each for 605 which made my full concentration give me barely 1000g … well I assume that was kind of a waste.

Is it too late to gain anything? I could need help on HOW to get started and find worthwhile items to sell.

I am thankful for any tips and advice, both on actual professions or just how to approach this!

I've seen this discussed in a couple places but I want to hear what you all think the over and under possibility of them adding a Bank NPC in the future, for the Sporeasaurus. I don't have a ton of liquid gold, but I dont want to miss the possibility of having Bank/Warband access on the go.

There's no need for it, as the other 2 mounts take care of everything you'd need, but I would kick myself for not buying it, and they end up adding this feature on the future. So, what do you all think, do you think they will add it?

I decided to "try" to farm the gold for the new AH mount, but so far, I only have 2x90s and I do world quests with them -> the gold is not bad, but I don't remember how long it took me to get to 350k.

So, years ago, I remember that there were a lot of groups for Open World mount farming ( the BfA zones for example ), meat farm, cloth farm etc. but now, whenever I open the LFG finder, I don't see any?

Are there currently any good farming spots for cloth/mount or meat farm? Any discords that do these regularly? I miss just chilling, listening to music and farming materials.

Now before you attack me in anyy way, i do actually love this and this helps me play at a casual level watch something while doing some world quests for gold yes it takes effort at first because YOU NEED to have characters that can do this in the first place, but i do love it as much as i am worried that it might get nerfed by blizzard but what looked like to me blizzard kinda doubled down on this since tww or df.

I'm currently playing Midnight for the first time and have just discovered the sporebearer fungal strider mount and it is EASILY my favourite mount in the game, however 7M gold is genuinely insane. I've been playing on and off since War Within and have put a good amount of time into the game but I think I've only made about 200k gold across all of my characters, if even. I've seen that the mount is only obtainable until the next expansion drops, so my question is is it actually possible for me to obtain that much gold before the next expansion, without spending hundreds on wow tokens? I'm willing to put time in and learn the best gold making strats, but I just want to know if this is an achievable goal first. Ty :)

I have skinnging/lwing on my main. It's 95% for crafting my own items. I've got my hands on a few decor recipes recently and curious if that is a potential income stream?

so im new to the game and just started looking into professions and found outdated guides for most professions or just 7 or more months old ones and was wondering how is the money made with them?

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a free addon for WoW Forever called Profession Atlas and thought the crafting and material planning side might be useful to people here.

The idea is to bring a few decisions into one place: what do I need for this craft, do I already have the materials somewhere, and would I rather gather what’s missing or buy it?

You can browse recipes and compare estimated material costs with the recorded auction sale value. Atlas also keeps track of recorded supplies across your characters’ bags and personal banks, which helps when an alt already has the cloth or leather you were about to buy.

There’s a Gather / Buy preference for planning how to get missing materials, with individual material choices available too. If you want to gather, you can look up farming sources, track herbs and ore, and follow the built-in direction arrow.

Your character also has a Time value estimate in gold per hour. It gives you some context when weighing up a farming trip against buying supplies. It’s a planning aid, so I wouldn’t treat it as a promise of what a particular farm will earn.

For profession leveling, you can choose a skill goal and turn the plan into steps in your quest tracker: collect supplies, prepare ingredients, craft and visit your trainer. You can also start a materials journey for a specific recipe.

I’ve just released a complete interface redesign, along with an illustrated in-game Guide explaining the pages and planning tools.

A few details worth knowing: crafting profit estimates are before auction fees, prices depend on the available recorded market data, and a listed sale price doesn’t guarantee an item will sell. Other characters’ inventories and closed banks show their last recorded contents.

Common Questions

• How do I increase the font size?
  • There is no option to increase the font size. However, you can scale any TSM window by holding shift while resizing it - then resize the window smaller after scaling it.
• Can I snipe for everything on the AH?
  • Yes! Since TSM 4.14 you can apply a Sniper operation to the Base Group.
• Why doesn't my scroll wheel macro work?
  • You likely have your mouse cursor over the AH window, any scrollable element will take priority over the macro so move your cursor off the AH window.
• Can I remove bid-only items from my shopping/sniper results?
  • No, you cannot.
• I lost all of my TSM settings and groups/operations!
  • Close WoW and restore a backup from the TSM app. You may need to go back a few days.

Just a small tip but I always see everyone recommend gold world quests and weekly quests through an alt army here. But at least for me it was pretty difficult to manage which alt had finished what, what and where the world quests are up and in what order to finish everything. So for anyone else who is in the same situation I was I wish to suggest this addon I've stumbled upon https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/fuocogoldfarm

It tracks almost every cache/gold type quest to do in midnight, including regular world quests, that pop up in an interface that automatically shows up when pressing your map keybind. When an event that is required for one of them is about to trigger it warns you with a timer. You can sort everything by zone, time left pvp quests, etc. It also integrates with tom tom and by clicking on it auto routes you to the location. It tallies how much gold you have earned from the quests in the interface and how much you have left to earn for the toon, and how much gold you have total. It's not perfect but for what it does it's genuinely well done so far. If anyone else has something better or another addon to complement it I'd love to hear about it as well though.
