So here's the thing. I've noticed a few guys who shall not be named cough (Arab Muslim) who has been hitting on some Muslim girls recently and then try to get into their pants.

Bro these guys are so bad at faking it their "Halal-ness". Upfront they say all the sweet words and acting all "Muslim" towards them. Wanting to "make them Halal". "If you marry me you'll never need to work a day in your life I'll handle all your sins" and whatever bs. "You just need to be faithful to me and no drinking alcohol and solah 5 times a day".

But if you follow them on social media, you'll find photos of them in pubs and bars with beers in their hands.

Just a month ago, an old Arab guy who tried asking my friend for a threesome with his other male friend. And proceeds to threaten to report her to local religious authorities if she refused to because he notes that he saw her drink at the bar. Didn't end well for him because we had direct connection to his... Personal private circles.

Genuine question, why is it so frowned upon when you want to live for yourself?

Friends, coworkers, even family seem to look down on you when your goals don’t involve raising kids, helping everyone out, or making sacrifices for other people.

Like bro, I work, pay my bills, don’t kacau anyone. Why is it so hard to accept that I just want to enjoy my own money, time and freedom instead of taking on responsibilities I never asked for?

Why must every decision revolve around family, society and what other people expect from you? Is living for yourself really that selfish, or are people just salty that you’re not following the same script as them?

I recently have been going out with a guy. He's pretty religious, attends religious events and I am also active in all groups organized by this particular religion. We both are of the same religion.

He is about 30 years old, has a steady and stable job with good income and drives a Cherry Omoda. He has expressed his interest towards me.

Days, months passed by, where we opened up about our past relationship(s).
I only dated one guy, for 3 years till we parted ways. Never had any intimate relationship with him.

He on the hand, told me his body count was 30. Dated, played, f***** multiple girls.

I am 28 years old now, I'm looking down to settle, but 30 is just mind boggling.

He said he was being honest to me, but my heart just sank because WTF

edit ** he is very sweet, pandai and i think that's how he lures girls to end up in bed with him.
** and members at church find him very "pleasing" and easy to work with and he gets job done.
** even my parents have voiced how active he is, how he has a good job etc. so he has established himself as a gentleman.
** But I'm glad he told me about him banging 30 girls (i think mainly out of church), so I dont feel betrayed when i marry him and find out about his affair or smtg or a child born out of wedlock (worst case scenarion) knocks on my door.

He is full Malay (this guy is browner than anyone I know). He has started to lie to Chinese people telling them he is half Chinese. For me this isn't a huge problem, like if he hates being brown and wants to lie, who cares?

But it just annoys me cause I am Eurasian and he's always calling me white and gatekeeping Malay culture even though I am half Malay, Muslim, speak Arabic and learning Malay. I don't know why I am not allowed to call myself half Malay but he is allowed to lie and call himself Chinese. He is also going around LARPing being able to speak Arabic to seem exotic and impress our East Asian friends (we are in a western country) but can't even speak a basic sentence and sounds like a little kid cause he didn't listen in school
