Hard to truly relax today (or most days these days) but I’m trying to remember that I can indeed exhale a bit, maybe just do some laundry and other work around the house, maybe even fire up a console and game a bit for the first time in a while, and not just dwell on all the stuff this week’s gonna bring at work until tomorrow.

Have a happy Sunday all.

Have had a task at work that’s been solely mine for a few months now and while on the surface it’s a straightforward enough ask, all the different caveats and exceptions and carveouts and other moving goalposts are really wearing on me. I don’t think I’m the best employee on our team but I also think I’m pretty good at what I do, yet this has turned into a bit of a quagmire that makes me start to question if I really know what I’m doing. And with a hard deadline coming up I expect I’ll have some long days and nights ahead of me to try to deliver. Time will tell how it goes.

On a lighter note welcome back NBA today.

Have a great Tuesday all.

Random fact of the day:
Copying is a key rule for life.
Many primitive organisms reproduce by combining and dividing.

Visible only under a microscope, they’re cytoplasm, blobs of jelly able that are able to eat and get around.

They outnumber every other living thing on Earth and the human body plays host to millions of them.

I had my first aerial silks class today! I am VERY thankful that I've been sometimes working out this year, because my goodness, my arms were noodles by the end of it

Then I dropped off some voting info door to door at 2 apartment complexes (one was 2nd floor only), so I am wiped

How are yall? How's your week been? Any plans for the weekend?

The Radio Disney playlist from 1996 to 2008

I like that it wasn’t this Disney exclusive station that just played Disney artists

It was like a mix of a Top 40 station and best of the 70s,80s,90s and today station for kids

I created a section in my discord server to be dedicated to all things Oregon football which includes a news channel where can see the latest news from Oregon football, fan lounge chat, fan media, a scoreboard for posting scores, predictions, heisman voting, and a voice chat. Also I’m open to suggestions on how we can make it better!

If you are a looking for an Oregon Ducks discord, join us with the link below!

Not looking forward to what’s gonna be a rough day at work, but alas it’s Friday so the light is at the end of the tunnel.

Then tomorrow I get the joy the privilege the fun I get to watch my team tomorrow

College football fan here. I've been building Touchdown U, a free 7v7 college football game on Roblox, and I'd love honest feedback from actual CFB fans.

- Instant games at any hour (the CPU fills empty spots)

- Call your plays, throw to open receivers, jukes, spins and dive tackles

- Slow-mo TD replays and college-style overtime

- 35 fictional schools (parody names), works on phone and PC

What feels off compared to real college football? What would make you play a second game?

(Roblox only shows brand-new games to age-verified 16+ accounts for now.)

30 years ago now October 1st 1996 one of my favorite debut albums and favorite albums in general Matchbox Twenty’s Yourself or Someone Like You was released

When it was released it only sold around 600 copies it’s first week but then after it was discovered more after its slow opening it went to be Diamond Certified in the United States going 12x Platinum selling 12 million albums in the United States and selling 15 million albums worldwide becoming of the most successful selling debut Rock albums

3 A.M,Push,Long Day,Real World and Back 2 Good have become 90s rock and radio staples and those songs have been certified multi platinum in the United States

I always liked how it feels like Stone Temple Pilots meets R.E.M and meets Tom Petty

Finding it difficult to enjoy time off and actually relax, yet a day off is a day off still I guess and a net positive

It is here folks

Postseason baseball starts tommorow!

Decided after six weeks of being in Houston that I should give Whataburger a try.

Wow, what a disappointment after hearing the hype and how much better it is than In-N-Out (which it absolutely is not).

Happy Friday, OTers!

Today we delivered dentures to a patient who hasn't had teeth in a long time, him and his sister were crying the entire appointment, it was so sweet

I also get to see a patient who was a dentist and has a cat! I brought some cat toys for him. He was so enthusiastic about all the advancements in dentistry

How have yall been?

MTV is criticized for drifted itself from music content but at least it has always somewhat maintain the idea of being a music related channel even in the past 2 decades

Channels like A&E,Bravo,Discovery Channel,G4 (When it was on the air) Spike TV (When it was on the air) and MTV’s sister channels VH1 and CMT have had way worse channel drop offs and channel drifts than MTV

Discovery Channel in 2000:Here I am exploring the most infamous cannibal tribe in all of the planet located in Papa New Guinea

Discovery Channel in 2020:Here’s another brainless pseudoscience show

Seriously though it sickens me that there are cannibal tribes out there

My nails are so sparkly and pretty, that sometimes I get distracted by them when putting in my loupes

How are yall? How was yalls weekend?

Amazing that there are folks out there who recorded and archived TV channels and their broadcasts during 9/11

Was just watching one about what BET was like on 9/11

The songs that radio stations were not told to play after 9/11

Quite a list especially All Rage Against The Machine songs were told not to be played

Random fact of the day:A researcher who studied children’s fear of monsters found that in virtually every culture girls are afraid there’s a beast under the bed.

But boys are convinced the monster is at the window.
The difference may be an evolutionary hangover.

It’s believed that primitive females were more likely to roost in trees so they feared what came from below while males, on the ground, may have worried about sneak attacks from the side
