Not sure why but two presidential helicopters just flew over Columbus heading south. Is Vance speaking in Ohio today?

Our cat Zoe ran away after one of our doors broke open. Please message me if you’ve seen or found this cat around Jeffery mansion or Stanbery avenue. She is exceptionally small for a cat and is rather skittish. She is chipped and spayed.

POLITICS i work for a corporation that donated to vivek

as the title says, i work for a corporation that donated to vivek. manager.

went to vote today (for amy acton ofc) and this one was especially heartfelt. over the past year ive had to lay off multiple of my employees against my will (due to the big heads in my company wanting more shareholder value), some of them who had just become new parents and had their first child. the jobs that they had were offshored to india and poland.

also worth adding, my company partners with a major tech company that was sued and found liable in 2024 for h-1b abuse and discrimination against american workers and preferential treatment towards employees of south asian descent.

so to the republicans who are worried about american jobs being sent overseas, you will be voting for someone who is receiving donations from corporations that lay off american workers and offshore their jobs and work with companies that abuse the h-1b visa program. let’s also not forget that vivek called american workers “mediocre”.

and to some of us within the democratic party, i encourage you to make this an issue if amy acton wins. at a time when americans are already struggling with the cost of gas, groceries, and utilities under trump, this is not the time to be sending american jobs overseas.

during obamas campaigns when he ran for president twice he ran on cracking down on h-1b visa abuse and offshoring jobs. nowadays it seems to be the very young voters within the democratic party who don’t want to have constructive convos about immigration and offshoring. being mean and nasty to immigrants should not ever be a democratic value but please also remember that american families and jobs matter as well

Greg Levy - GET OUT OF MY MAILBOX

Just posting in hopes this shows up in a Google search. God bless I am sick of this man showing up to my mailbox daily!

It's such a turn-off to even want to research or learn more about him.

I know there's a way to stop spam mail, how do we minimize political mailers in my mailbox? Anything?

Anyone else receive this spam text?

I mean.. it’s free pizza guys. Everyone knows the normies in Ohio love free pizza. What better way to get people to like someone with an otherwise punchable face than to offer them FREE PIZZA 🍕 in Powell.

🙄

REQUEST Neighbors unleashed dog finally attacked my dog. How can I protect us going forward.

My neighbor constantly lets his dogs out front without leashes and occasional unsupervised. Today I was walking my dog and normally I cans spot them so I can redirect my dog and go somewhere else but this time another dog was being walked down the street and while I was focusing on redirecting from the one dog his unleashed dog came from around a car and charged me and my dog and went for my dog's neck.

I was able to quickly separate the dogs so we got away luckily without any injuries. I lost my cool and called him a fucking idiot to which he responded that nothing happened and was basically an asshole to me and said I lied about his dog attacking mine.

Will the dog warden do anything even if my dog didn't get hurt?

Cavs vs Timberwolves on FREE TV tonight!!!

Sorry for the late notice, but I just figured it out myself. The Cleveland Cavs are on free antenna TV tonight at 7:00 PM. They are on channel 17.1. That channel will be showing lots of the Cavs games so check the local antenna TV guide each time they are playing. Try pointing your antenna West or Southwest, rescanning your TV channels with each aiming if your TV doesn't receive that channel.

Hello. I am trying to put together a Nathan Fielder costume. Thus, I need to buy a laptop harness. I cannot locate a laptop harness online that ships before 10/31. If anyone here has one to sell me or knows where I can buy one, I would be eternally grateful.

Can someone explain what this apple thing is around this cat's neck?

This is the second day. This cat's come around this area and he has a green collar with this round metal disk that has the apple icon on it. Clearly this means someone might be looking after him. But they let him outside so much that I wonder if they're actually taking care of him?

Who's cat is this?

Update: I realize i shouldn't feed this cat, but they were rolling around and rubbing on everything, so i just needed them to hold still for a second so i could check their collar.

REQUEST My boyfriend is kind of a picky eater, it's his birthday today and I need a restaraunt for this evening.

Everytime I go out with him, he orders exactly what I get. Even though I know he would hate it. He just likes simple, American food I'm guessing. Grew up in foster care and a poor family and didn't get much to expand his palate. I want something simple and nice. Thx in advance.

REQUEST My mom refuses to move but her bathroom is getting dangerous. What did you change first?

• Upvotes

She's 74, lives alone in Clintonville, sharp as anything and absolutely not leaving her house. Which, fair. But she slipped getting out of the tub last week, grabbed the towel bar, and the towel bar came right out of the wall.

She's fine. I'm not fine lol.

For people who've helped a parent stay in their home, what bathroom stuff did you change first? Grab bars, non slip stuff, a whole new shower? Trying to figure out what actually matters vs what I'm panic buying at 11pm.

Are there ANY reasonably priced apartments in or around columbus that aren’t just so so so so so infested with bugs? Am I asking for too much? Is it so crazy to want a bug free place i can afford? it doesn’t have to be fancy, just pest free 😭 My current place has roaches and the landlords don’t bother to do anything but INCREASE our rent :’) i had a friend who rented at the same complex as me and the owner of the buildings herself said “yeah i wouldn’t wanna live here either haha!” IM LOSING MY MIND

2nd trip museum recomendations

• Upvotes

Hello y'all. I am planning on visiting again and was curious about checking out some sights I didnt get to last time. I saw a good chunk of town, and have started thinking about moving over since it was so lovely.

Would anyone mind sharing recs for things to do while there, I traveled by the Fire Museum a bit but never stopped in and read from some folks about Motts that it was better than the other military museum in the area.

Regards!
