I have always wondered why we couldn't have both for the same weapon. With crafting, you would only have one perk in each slot, but if you wanted the luxury of being able to swap between perks on-the-fly, you would grind for T5s. What was the reason why this could not have been done?

Every time I’m on Nessus or in the EDZ during a Distortion, and that event pops up, I have to pray that the other players in the area know the whole “don’t-damage-the-boss-too-quickly-or-the-event-will-soft-lock” glitch. It’s just frustrating is all. I hope that Bungie gives us a patch with all the unvaulting that going to happen.

I documented my playthrough and honestly it was a blast. I loved the new weapons, the new maps/spaces were dope, the new armour system is great! (Today I got to 4x100+ stats) the VA’s did an amazing job, the story was fire and the order system is top tier.

Edit: Got r’ done about 2 or 3 attempts after my bitchfest. The timer is less tight than I thought. I was trying to do too much unnecessary work. Get master, de-shield two captains in the same side, compel the boss, kill the captains, re-master up, compel, compel, use two mini blights to get up top and burn the boss. Repeat.

Thanks for the sword tips though! I had no idea on some of these. Like long holding throw and forcing it to return.

I’m doing this solo. I’ve been on step 8 for two fucking hours.

In almost 10,000 hours of Destiny, this might be the single most frustrating, least enjoyable thing I have ever done.

The original Whisper mission solo was more sensible, predictable, and repeatable than this. Master Lightblade makes more sense. At least when something kills me there, I generally understand how we arrived at that outcome.

The Praxic Blade is cool as hell. I love the concept. Unfortunately, actually using it feels like submitting a request that the game will review within three to five business days.

Some highlights of this exquisitely crafted experience:

Throwing the blade through six or seven Thrall and hitting absolutely fucking nothing. Incredible precision. Finding the empty space in that much Thrall takes talent.

Waiting four to five seconds for it to return because it got stuck or fucked off to parts unknown. Take your time, buddy. Nothing happening over here. Just the entire encounter.

Being unable to strike OR throw at a mini-blight directly in front of me. I can see it. You can see it. Apparently, the only thing unaware of its existence is the weapon I’m supposed to destroy it with.

Having Master-level Force Push take two or three attempts to break shields. This eventually got better. No idea why. No idea what changed. Always reassuring when both the problem and its solution are fucking mysteries.

And yes: I’m doing it solo. I understand that makes it harder. I accept responsibility for the enemies, positioning, timing, and mistakes.

I can improve my execution. I cannot practice my way into a functioning hitbox.

But clearly this needs a harder version. Let’s really realize the vision:

Invert the aim axes. Add Weight of Darkness. Randomize my gear and stats. Change my class and subclass every 3.5 seconds.

Every third blade throw should require me to retrieve it from orbit.

Call it BlindfoldedMasterLuke. Give it a shader. Someone will explain that the problem is my build.

The Way Between… between what? My inputs and the intended result? Because that gap, like my asshole, is fucking enormous.

I’ve recently been getting into PvP, and have many different cannons, with their respective “god rolls.”

Which ones do y’all prefer? As of now, I prefer the Eyseluna with 100 stability, but I may be missing better ones.

My friend can’t get his ornaments thing to work and it’s popping up as inoperable, is there a reason for this and how do we get it to work? Can’t post a picture for some reason but that’s what it’s saying. I’ve never seen this before.

I'll go first, Aurora Dawn can roll with Accelerated Assault despite it still having the Reclamation logo. And there is an Ornament of Final Warning called "Predecessor" that was placed in the Hand Cannons section in the collections, instead of Sidearms like the other ones.

I've tested this build and it does a good chunk of dps & damage, but I've seen that it doesn't stack with well or radiant.

Is it still a good build to run, despite the fact?

I saw somewhere that an option is to just not stand in the well, for example, so it doesn't lower the weapon buff. But then, of course, I'd be losing out on the other perks of that.

I've always been a void main on my Titan and I was wanting to do something with twilight arsenal (don't have stoicism yet to do a pris build, but I'll get there eventually).

This is one, if not the only build I've seen using regular void that incorporates it for solid dps.

Coming back to destiny with a few friends since the announcement. Been having an absolute blast mostly in dungeons, gm alerts, and some comp. But something I’ve been struggling with in iron banner this week is just particle effects and visibility. Maybe I’m just getting old, terrifying, but I don’t feel like it’s a huge problem for me in most content. But this week in iron banner I feel like I can barely see what’s in front of me with all the stasis and strand on screen. Basically just wondering if there’s some secret graphics settings etc that might help or some way yall are dealing with it! This is not a complaint post, just asking for some advice coming back to the game :)

Hi everyone,

​I recently bought the Ghost shell from the Destiny 1 Ghost Collector's Edition through a trusted second-hand store. As expected from sitting on display for years without use, the original battery has likely died.

​I followed online guides and tried charging it for about 15 to 30 minutes, but unfortunately, it still won't turn on or show signs of life. I can clearly see that the shell has been well-kept: there is no fall damage, no scratches, and no sign that the previous owner ever tried to open it.

​Since I am not very experienced with taking apart electronics or swapping out a motherboard-attached 3.7V LiPo battery, I wanted to ask for some advice.

​Does anyone here who owns or has owned this Collector's Edition Ghost shell have a step-by-step guide or tips on how to safely disassemble the shell, disconnect and replace the 3.7V LiPo battery, and reassemble it properly without damaging the plastic clips or internal wiring?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since spire of stars is a cabal themed raid lair, maybe add the season of the haunted seasonal weapons like firefright (auto rifle), hollow denial (trace rifle), or bump in the night (rocket launcher).

AND

Since eater of worlds is a vex themed raid lair, maybe add some season of undying weapons like Optative (hand cannon), adhortative (pulse rifle), or subjunctive (SMG).

Have a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a 5070ti with 32GB DDR5 (EXPO enabled) and seem to get about ~180fps during combat on high settings (not highest).

When I check my task manager however, I see that my CPU and GPU are both well below 30% usage.

Any reason why the game isn’t using more of my cpu/gpu for higher fps? I probably won’t notice the difference between 180fps to 280fps (monitor limit) but still curious as to why the game or my computer isn’t using the cpu/gpu more?

i don't want to do this timegated fetch quest to unlock the ability to get one class item drop per full dungeon run; it was cute when class items had no real gameplay purpose but now that they do it's just annoying. please just let people farm it like every other raid and dungeon ever put into the game does

edit: during one of the worm runs i solo flawlessed the dungeon, quest still sucks tho

edit 2: solo flawlessed it again after unlocking focusing because my first bond roll sucks, turns out you can only focus loot once a week and it includes the catalyst quest focus

I've chosen the Match Game modifier several times in activities on Master in OPS with the fireteam finder (we finished the op) and still haven't been credited for it. I can't do solo. How do I get credit for it?

Recent return player after many years. I started playing again toward the end of August, and now that I'm playing more it dawned on me that I haven't been getting like ANY Strange Coins; I've have a total of 12 in my inventory since starting up. My buddy and I have been doing strikes and upon completion he'll say he got 6, and I got zero. We did a few more strikes and same thing; I didn't get a single one while he's getting a handful. Is this a bug on my end, or am I totally missing something? I've done a ton of searching around to find people in similar situations from a couple years ago with no clear answer, but wasn't sure if this is a known thing and I'm just SOL. Any help is most welcomed.

For reference I played D1 and Vanilla D2 on XBone. I merged my Steam and XB Live accounts on the Bungie site in August. Got all the expacs on Steam during the most recent sale. Thank youu

Hello, I'm super new to Destiny, only been playing about two weeks, and I absolutely love it!

I'm currently grinding crucible purely for the Harlequin shader as I adore jesters, but unfortunately I'm also absolutely god awful at PVP shooters. However I have found great joy and success in just running at people and meleeing them to death!

A bit too much fun probably-

So my question is what would be the best build for this? Just as a silly hyper specific PvP build to keep someone who can't aim from going insane in a PvP grind 😂

I'm talking class (I'm currently mainly hunter), exotics, subclass, anything that gives my melee the edge

I swear to god no one understands this game mode. If the hunt is on and all control points are locked it’s better to AVOID the enemy. It’s a 3x multiplier for each death for the team on the hunt.

I’m not sweaty or even any good, it just baffles me that I’ve never once seen anyone play as if they are aware of this.

Is there a good reason to do this campaign ? None of my friends seem to have any interest in doing it... anything important that I am missing from this? Finished up Renegades but now no one is interested in doing the other campaign.
