Hey guys, just returned to the game after a long while. My builds unfortunately became irrelevant over time so I’m currently working on new ones. Any suggestions for solid kinetic slot primary weapons (as in no special ammo)? Thanks for helping out!

I’m raiding with a new light friend and they just cannot stay alive for the life of them. They’re just straight vaccuming our res tokens at this point. What’s an easy to pilot hunter setup that they can obtain with relative ease? (Lax stat requirements preferred)

An example would be merging all duplicate weapons into one weapon with one single icon from the dlc they first came out in. Old badges and titles being accessible, same with triumphs and titles. Lmk what you guys think of this bc personally it’s bugged me there’s like 5 versions of some same gun.

So recently my friend group has decided to play Destiny, and I am completely lost as to what exactly to do. I haven’t played in about 5 years, so I am really out of the loop. Is all my old gear worthless? Should I just make a new character? I am just really confused, so any guidance or help would very much be appreciated!!

Recently returned to the game and I’m currently putting together a well of radiance build. Using Prometheus lens with elemental supercharger to constantly farm supers. Current gear is specced into weapons and super for well duration. Not exactly sure what set would work best with what I’m running. I was thinking maybe the techeun set from shattered throne could work well to round off the build

I’m a longtime Destiny player and recently picked up and painted some Destiny tabletop miniatures. Thought this group would enjoy them. Here a few photos of a hunter and some Vex. I’m working on a Titan, warlock and some other baddies.

I have always wondered why we couldn't have both for the same weapon. With crafting, you would only have one perk in each slot, but if you wanted the luxury of being able to swap between perks on-the-fly, you would grind for T5s. What was the reason why this could not have been done?

Online it says to get it from new light kits but I dont really know if that is a thing/ how I would get it, also are there any other easier ways to get it? thanks!

The void titan is my baby. I've been a bubble boy since D1 release. I want to start doing higher level content like raids and dungeons, mainly because Refusal of the Call is only farmable in the Pit.

Is it possible to solo raids/dungeons using a void bubble titan build? Or does DPS become too much of an issue? I have no trouble in GMs when they have auto matchmaking, so I'm hoping this build translates to solo endgame PvE, so I can farm my my favorite glaive, Refusal of the Call.

This build has generated almost perpetual overshield with kickstart and orb generation. Super bubble, and Stryker's Hand provides incredible DPS for bosses and amazing ad clear with Volatile Flow and Supernova. Choir of One fills in all the gaps for range and consistent DPS, assuming there are enough red bars to fill the ammo meter for the Hand and Choir.

Cons:

- Lack of enemies results in significant decrease in playability.

- Ammo Generation issues for boss fights

I'm looking for helpful critics and suggestions. I am not in a clan and have no intention of joining one unless the stars align (I feel comfortable and you're super casual about regular participation).

I'm stuck on step 25/34 of Beyond Light. The quest marker appears at the Ziggurat, but none of the Stasis Seals spawn.

I've restarted, checked for conflicting quests, and completed Beyond Light on my Titan without issues.

Has anyone experienced this or found a fix?

Every time I’m on Nessus or in the EDZ during a Distortion, and that event pops up, I have to pray that the other players in the area know the whole “don’t-damage-the-boss-too-quickly-or-the-event-will-soft-lock” glitch. It’s just frustrating is all. I hope that Bungie gives us a patch with all the unvaulting that going to happen.

I have an exotic cipher and engram so any on exotic is available, I’m decently leveled with every class and am looking for a fun build I can use, I’ve been using crown of tempests for quite a while.

I’m hearing a lot about double special, what are the main weapons people use for this?

I’ve been hearing there’s a bis shoot to loot rocket sidearm you can’t get anymore that really sucks to miss. Is there anything I could do about that or just go for the next best.

What double special should I run for solar warlock? I have a dawns chorus build and a boots of the assembler build. The only thing I can think of is acasia's dejection. That'll be a bit annoying to get though. As far as kinetic slot goes, I've been running perfect paradox and liking that so far.

I’ve recently been getting into PvP, and have many different cannons, with their respective “god rolls.”

Which ones do y’all prefer? As of now, I prefer the Eyseluna with 100 stability, but I may be missing better ones.

Edit: Got r’ done about 2 or 3 attempts after my bitchfest. The timer is less tight than I thought. I was trying to do too much unnecessary work. Get master, de-shield two captains in the same side, compel the boss, kill the captains, re-master up, compel, compel, use two mini blights to get up top and burn the boss. Repeat.

Thanks for the sword tips though! I had no idea on some of these. Like long holding throw and forcing it to return.

I’m doing this solo. I’ve been on step 8 for two fucking hours.

In almost 10,000 hours of Destiny, this might be the single most frustrating, least enjoyable thing I have ever done.

The original Whisper mission solo was more sensible, predictable, and repeatable than this. Master Lightblade makes more sense. At least when something kills me there, I generally understand how we arrived at that outcome.

The Praxic Blade is cool as hell. I love the concept. Unfortunately, actually using it feels like submitting a request that the game will review within three to five business days.

Some highlights of this exquisitely crafted experience:

Throwing the blade through six or seven Thrall and hitting absolutely fucking nothing. Incredible precision. Finding the empty space in that much Thrall takes talent.

Waiting four to five seconds for it to return because it got stuck or fucked off to parts unknown. Take your time, buddy. Nothing happening over here. Just the entire encounter.

Being unable to strike OR throw at a mini-blight directly in front of me. I can see it. You can see it. Apparently, the only thing unaware of its existence is the weapon I’m supposed to destroy it with.

Having Master-level Force Push take two or three attempts to break shields. This eventually got better. No idea why. No idea what changed. Always reassuring when both the problem and its solution are fucking mysteries.

And yes: I’m doing it solo. I understand that makes it harder. I accept responsibility for the enemies, positioning, timing, and mistakes.

I can improve my execution. I cannot practice my way into a functioning hitbox.

But clearly this needs a harder version. Let’s really realize the vision:

Invert the aim axes. Add Weight of Darkness. Randomize my gear and stats. Change my class and subclass every 3.5 seconds.

Every third blade throw should require me to retrieve it from orbit.

Call it BlindfoldedMasterLuke. Give it a shader. Someone will explain that the problem is my build.

Two hours later, my primary skill development is predicting which basic function it’s going to refuse to perform next.

The Way Between… between what? My inputs and the intended result? Because that gap, like my asshole, is fucking enormous.

My friend can’t get his ornaments thing to work and it’s popping up as inoperable, is there a reason for this and how do we get it to work? Can’t post a picture for some reason but that’s what it’s saying. I’ve never seen this before.

Am I the only one not getting certain ornaments for exotics or is it just me the black talon had this rlly cool ice sword ornament tht I thought would’ve been sick but it wasn’t anywhere in the store
