Griffith vs JCU Dentistry
Hey all,
Deciding between JCU Dentistry in Cairns and Griffith Dentistry on the Gold Coast. I'm leaning towards Griffith because of the Gold Coast location, the credit transfer, and just the overall quality of the dental school. But I want to compare how much more it would actually cost before I commit. Would love input from anyone who's studied or lived in either
How do the two compare overall for day-to-day costs? If any current students are living on campus (or nearby), would you be able to share roughly what you pay for rent, food, and general living costs? Just so I can compare the two side by side.
Transport: I know a car is basically needed for JCU dent. Is that also true for Griffith, or can you get by with the light rail/buses since it's a bigger city?
I know living costs will generally be higher at Griffith, but not needing a car there would kind of even things out money-wise. If the total difference ends up being around $40-50k including tuition (since Griffith is $30k more), I'd go with Griffith.
Happy for you to PM me if you'd rather not share numbers publicly. Thanks!
