Jailbreak Release Dopamine 3.0: Supports 15.0 - 17.3.1 (all devices), 15.0 - 18.7.1, 26.0 - 26.0.1 (A12/A13)

Changelog

  • Add Titan PPL/SPTM bypass by u/AlfieCG, introduces support for all devices running 16.5.1 - 17.3.1
  • Add momentarius PPL bypass by staturnz and u/TheRealClarity, introduces support for A12/A13 devices running 16.6 - 18.7.1, 26.0 - 26.0.1
  • Add support for SPTM devices up to 27.0 betas in general, can be tested on Corellium devices using the install script at Standalone/Corellium, obviously only works up to 17.3.1 on real devices due to lack of an SPTM bypass on >=17.4
  • Add ClearSword exploit by u/TheRealClarity, cleaner alternative to DarkSword that seems to have better reliability
  • Add workaround for DarkSword/ClearSword not working on A8 iPads, iPad 5, iPad 6 and iPad Pro 9.7" contributed by sk8ingDuck, involves a respring through a respring method contributed by wh1te4ever
  • Fix various issues with the Dopamine app from the 2.5 Betas, such as settings not saving
  • Fix various issues with installing apps via TrollStore Lite on iOS 17.4+
  • More secure method of detecting the Dopamine app that jailbroke the device by saving it's id when intially jailbreaking and later comparing against it, should also solve issues when a signing tool renames the .app bundle

NOTES:

  • The DarkSword/ClearSword respring workaround may need to be done multiple times on A8
  • A jbupdate from an earlier versions will trigger a full reboot by design

GitHub Release

EDIT: 3.0.1 is out to fix some regressions such as

  • Fix Titan not working on ARM_LARGE_MEMORY kernels (Mainly M1/M2 iPads)
  • Fix XPF being broken on some iOS 15.x versions
  • Fix kfd exploits being broken on iOS 16.x
  • Fix ClearSword / DarkSword showing up as supported even on devices that do not support them
  • In DarkSword / ClearSword workaround message, add notice about A8 possibly requiring multiple attempts

3.0.2 is out now too to fix even more bugs * Fix random panics on TXM devices when something tries to load a dynamic trustcache * Fix non CS_ADHOC libraries not being loadable on TXM devices in certain processes for which fcntl(F_ADDSIGS, ...) is blocked by sandbox (Fixes some tweaks not working) * Fix binaries and libraries signed with a team id not working on TXM devices * Fix crashes with some apps that were installed by TrollStore Lite on iOS 17.0 - 17.3.1 * Fix momentarius not working on older iOS versions (by staturnz) * Minor improvements to DarkSword and ClearSword (by u/TheRealClarity) * Fix support for iOS 18.1 beta 4 (A12/A13)

3.0.3 is out now to fix another regression in 3.0.2 that broke support for some iOS 18 versions

3.0.4 too now

3.0.5 too now

Discussion Background Security Improvements Setting

There is a setting called "Background Security Improvements" hiding far away from the software update area, under Settings -> Privacy & Security, near the bottom of the list. This setting is described as "provide additional protection to your iPhone in between software updates". This setting started appearing after 26.0.1 and it seems we should turn this off if we are sitting on a particular iOS version hoping for a jailbreak.

I do have some questions about this setting.
1) Does the TVOS profile prevent it from operating?
2) Does the DNS update blocker prevent it from operating?
3) Is there any way to find out if any updates have been pushed out this way?
4) Is there any way to detect if your particular device has one of these updates?

Update [Update] Horythia - 1.1.0 Hide Jailbreak (Dopamine) and more

• Upvotes

New: Ad Block

  • Block ads and trackers inside apps and their in-app web views, for all apps or per app ("Block Ads" / "Allow Ads").
  • Control Center toggle, and works alongside DNS blockers such as AdGuard.
  • Filter lists (AdGuard DNS filter, Peter Lowe's List, StevenBlack hosts) downloaded on demand.

New: Hide Jailbreak (Dopamine)

  • Automatically execute "Hide/Unhide Jailbreak" in Dopamine on a per-app basis.
  • Tap a marked app to hide the jailbreak while you use it; it cold-launches the app and restores the jailbreak automatically when you leave.
  • Please note that this may not work with all apps.
  • Using "Unhide" will cause your jailbreak apps to become scattered across the home screen, so please use the backup feature in IconOrder.

New: Clean Jailbreak Traces (Dopamine) varClean

  • Remove leftover jailbreak junk under /var that can make detection apps fail even after the jailbreak is removed. Review the list and delete only what you pick; updatable rules.

New: Per-app language

  • Set a different language per app; the app keeps the system language everywhere else.

Improvements

  • Hide/unhide are much faster (parallel app re-registration) and show the progress HUD immediately.
  • Pull to refresh in Clean Jailbreak Traces.
  • Blue switches throughout; larger Control Center icon.
  • All 17 languages updated.

The Havoc team responded quickly, allowing us to release immediately.

Please feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions or feedback.

Discussion Why jailbreak? What are you looking forward to?

Haven’t been around since the unc0ver days and super out of the loop on jailbreaking but why do people want to jailbreak?

I get the broad appeal of having pure access to your device and being able to tweak things but can you guys give me specifics? Why do you really want to jailbreak? What is something you’re missing right now that you will get? Is it anything in particular?

Discussion [question] WatchOS signed firmware update/restore - 27.0.1

• Upvotes

Not any actual jailbreak but since you can use finder sync to option click update and select firmware file.

Does anyone know how to update/restore Apple Watch to a older signed watchOS if the iPhone device is at 27.0.1 and you want update it to 27.0.1 but 27.2 is released.

I’m assuming upgrading watchOS to 27.2 not work with the phone.

Question In need of some advice..

Hi, I have been out of the jailbreaking game for a long time since my iPhone 5 was still brand new from apple and I was a teen.. but I seen the IOS 27.0.1 update was getting a jailbreak soon and I still could update it since its signed but I am on IOS 18.7.8 on an iPhone 16. I'm mainly just seeing if its worth staying where I'm at on IOS 18.7.8 and waiting for a Jailbreak (If there isn't already one I don't know about!) or if I should jump the gun and update.. Thanks in advance!!

Question iOS is up to date (can’t update)

Post image
11 Upvotes

So I wanted to delayota from ios 26.2.1 to ios 27, and I can’t do that.

I don’t have tvOS profile installed nor disable any ota daemon using Nugget or something like that. But, I do have other iPhones which have tvOS profile, and also using the same Apple ID as the iPhone I’m trying to update.

Do I have to remove the tvOS profile on the other iPhones and idk, wait for it to sync in order to update? I appreciate any help, thanks!

Release [Free Release] Tinge 26 - Adaptive and static badge colors for iOS 26, with rootless and roothide builds. Tested on roothide!

Thumbnail
github.com
6 Upvotes

I’m sharing Tinge 26. An iOS 26 compatibility port of Tinge 1.2.2 by P2KDev (@p2kdev). He’s not around these days, so I had his well made tweak to work on iOS 26.

It customizes notification badges with adaptive and static backgrounds, text colors and borders.

What changed:

• Restored adaptive backgrounds using the app icon already rendered by SpringBoard, including themed icons.

• Folder badge colors follow the app with the highest badge count inside the folder.

• Preserved static backgrounds, text colors, border width and border color options.

• Reworked the settings pane with Apple’s native color picker and verified saves, fixing the issue where selected colors wouldn’t persist.

• Included SpringBoard compatibility fixes and separate rootless and native RootHide packages.

A lot of work by ChatGPT and then codex. I instructed and tested 12-13 iterations within a few hours while doing other things and I hope I tested it enough on roothide before the release.

Testing has been limited to an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 26.0.1 with Dopamine 3 roothide. The rootless build is also included but hasn’t been device-tested by this project. Other setups are untested and the final footer/link polish still needs an on-device check.

Download:

https://github.com/sahinkaa/Tinge26

Both packages are version 1.0. Port source, build instructions, checksums and full installation notes are included in the release.

One known limitation: some folders may need to be opened once before their badge color becomes available.

Original Tinge credit goes to P2KDev. The rendered-icon sampling approach was informed by w1tu’s ntfy.

Question help with delayOTA

I have CowabungaLite installed on my Mac (also installed libimobiledevice through brew), and it opens just fine to the main app, but as soon as I plug in my phone and refresh the list to try to select it, the app crashes. it also crashes if I try to launch the app with my phone already plugged in so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to get to supervised mode without a full wipe and doing it through Configurator. is it possible to get to this supervised mode using iMazing or any other free tool without a data wipe?

Discussion Was interested in an iOS 27.0.1 jailbreak, but decided to update to 27.2

• Upvotes

I was initially interested in staying on iOS 27.0.1 because of the possibility of a jailbreak. However, I’ve seen quite a few people saying that iOS 27.2 has better battery life and feels smoother than 27.0.1.
My first priority with my new phone is having a smooth, stable experience with good battery backup. So, after thinking about it, I decided that it makes more sense for me to update to iOS 27.2 rather than staying on 27.0.1 just for the possibility of a jailbreak.

Device - 16 pro.
