Heyo! 38 here, gay, partnered, and living in Phoenix, AZ. Figured I'd put myself out there, again, and see if anyone else is looking for that genuine best-friend vibe.
I'm talking about having that best-friend you can grab a drink with, go on random adventures, plan a weekend trip, share some laughs, talk about life, and just enjoy each other's company. Someone where the friendship feels natural, you can be yourself, and you're both willing to put in the effort to make it something meaningful.
A little about me! I work in healthcare, specifically data and informatics. I'm also working on my master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology with an emphasis in Leadership. Between work, school, and everyday life, I definitely appreciate finding time to get out and have some fun.
I'm a fan of a good brewery, especially for the atmosphere and food, wine tasting, and traveling whenever I can. During the warmer months, you'll probably find me paddle-boarding down the river. I'm also into museums, art, photography, and exploring new places. Honestly, I'm usually down for anything that gets me out of the house and experiencing something different.
Also, huge horror movie fan here! Haunted houses, ghost tours, creepy old buildings, urban exploration... I'm all about it. Anyone up for a haunted house weekend before Thanksgiving? 😂
One thing I'd really love is finding a travel buddy. Whether it's a spontaneous weekend road trip, checking out a new city, exploring somewhere off the beaten path, or planning a bigger adventure, it would be awesome to have a bro who's equally excited about getting out and seeing the world.
Ideally, I'd love to connect with someone local to Arizona so we could actually hang out and do things together. That said, I'm definitely open to long-distance friendships, especially if there's potential to eventually meet up or plan trips!
It would also be cool to connect with others who are married or partnered. Not a requirement by any means, but I think there's something nice about having a friend who understands the routines and responsibilities that come with being in a relationship, while also recognizing how important it is to maintain your own friendships and interests outside of that.
At the end of the day, I'm just looking for a solid friendship. Someone to shoot the breeze with, exchange random memes, make plans with, and hopefully build that kind of connection where you eventually stop thinking of each other as just friends and start feeling more like people you've known your entire life.
I know those kinds of friendships don't happen overnight, but you've got to start somewhere, right? I'm not looking for someone who's available 24/7. We all have lives, but making an effort and actually following through on plans goes a long way.
If you're looking for something similar, shoot me a message! Tell me a little about yourself, where you're from, and what kind of adventures you're into.
Bonus points if you're down for a haunted adventure, a spontaneous road trip, or a glass of wine after a long week. 😂
