My TV watching habits shifted from 80% Western shows to 0% in two years — visualized by country of origin

I've been looking at my TV and movie watching history, and one of the more interesting patterns is how much my viewing preferences have shifted geographically.

In 2024, most of what I watched was American or British. Western titles accounted for 80% of my viewing in Q3 2024.

By 2025, Korean dramas had become a much bigger part of what I watched. Japanese shows also started gaining ground in 2026, particularly in Q2 and Q3.

Now, in Q4 2026, Korean titles make up 59% of what I've watched, Japanese titles another 20%, and Western titles have completely disappeared from the mix.

I grouped everything by country of origin and calculated the percentage of titles watched each quarter. The chart measures the number of titles, not total hours watched, and skips quarters without viewing activity. The "Other" category includes mostly Thai, Indonesian, and Chinese dramas, along with occasional films and documentaries.

What I find interesting is that this wasn't a deliberate decision to stop watching Western content. My preferences just gradually shifted, and I probably wouldn't have noticed how dramatic the change was without looking at the data.

Curious if anyone else tracks their entertainment consumption over time.

I built a way to ask Claude or ChatGPT questions across all my health data. Looking for Android testers.

My sleep is tracked on a RingConn, my lifts are in Hevy, my food is in MyFitnessPal, and my weight is on a Renpho scale. None of them talk to each other. I kept wanting to ask things like "has my change in diet affected my training?", and the answer was always to export four CSVs and give up.

So I made HealthLoom. It syncs all your health data from Health Connect into your own private store and connects it to Claude, ChatGPT or anything that supports MCP. Then you just ask. Every record is tagged with the app it came from, so you always know where a number came from.

Your data is encrypted with a key I don't keep. Only your phone and the AI apps you approve can unlock it, so I can't open anyone's data.

It's in closed testing on Google Play, and I'd love feedback from people who track a lot.

To join:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/healthloom-early-access

  2. Then opt in on Google Play: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.healthloom

Use the same Google account for both. I'm the developer, so ask me anything.

Most suitable Fitness/sleep tracker for Night Shift work?

Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹

For those of you working night shifts, what fitness or sleep tracker do you recommend?

I’m looking for something that accurately tracks sleep during the day, recovery, heart rate, and overall fitness, even with an irregular sleep schedule.

Preferable not the apple watch
