Hey everyone! I’m starting the BSN program at Seneca King Campus in January 2027 and wanted to ask current nursing students what I should do to prepare before classes start

I’d also love to know how the semesters are structured, when clinical placements start, and what I’ll need to complete before starting clinicals, including any certifications, immunizations, documents, or equipment.

Basically, I’m trying to get an idea of the timeline and what I should prepare for each semester so I can plan ahead.

Hey, I'm applying to Seneca FPR for September 2027 and I'm wondering what my chances are.

My average is 89.25%. I applied as soon as applications opened and all my final marks are already submitted.

I saw that the cutoff was apparently 85% for 2024 and 2025, then went up to 90% for 2026. (OCAS Web)

Has anyone gotten in with an average around mine? Also, if you applied for September 2026, what was your average and did you get accepted or waitlisted?

I'm just trying to figure out if I have a decent chance or if my average is too low now. Thanks.

I am in desperate need of help for picking two easier LSOs, as I have am going to have a 7 course load sem for W2027.

If anyone has any recommendations for an easy LSO (Ive already looked into the anime course), it would be greatly appreciated. I am primarily at the Newnham campus if that matters.

Hi, I finished my advanced diploma in accounting and finance program in 2024. Now as a PR, planning to transfer to university to finish my bachelors. As per Seneca, they have direct transfer to TMU, York and other unis. Does anyone know what are the steps to get this transfer started? Should I do something at Seneca to validate my transfer credits before applying to Uni? How do I apply to 3rd year of the Uni ? Is there anyone at Seneca like faculty that I can reach out to discuss my options ? Also, can I transfer to a uni that’s not suggested by Seneca, does that mean I won’t be getting into 3rd year and start from 1st year ? If anyone has a clue or small idea about this, please respond. I just graduated from uOttawa and working in downtown. At the moment, I’m renting just a room. But my family will be visiting me over the summer, so I was thinking of subletting a furnished place with 2 rooms (I don’t mind if it’s a 3 bedroom apartment/house and we have a roommate.) So, if you have a place like that and will be subletting it over the summer, I’ll be interested.

But for now, I just wanted to know how long will you be willing to sublet for? 2, 3 or 4 months.

i graduated from FSO and claimed my grad ticket as well as my 3 guest tickets, i put myself on waitlist for 2 more tickets as i have 2 sets of parents and my partner who all wish to attend. i got this email (see first 2 photos) on thursday 10/15, however its been almost 48 hours and i have yet to hear back from the convocation team about these apparent extra tickets, and when i go to the convocation ticketing website it says ive A) claimed all my tickets for the waitlist (see 3rd photo), and B) there isnt a cart to even view, like they claim in this email.

has anyone else experienced this?? i dont want to miss out on the extra tickets but have no idea how to access them
