I voted at the Wellspring church it looked like a long line but they only have half the church set up so the tables are close to the door. I was standing on the stairs when I arrived and still voted quickly. They have lots of people working.

just curious if anyone knows why rose city recovery closed so suddenly? from what i’ve heard from people who worked closely with them, it seems like this was a really unexpected

He seemed to have pretty agreeable perspectives. But as a person? Anyone know him or have anything to say?

Thanks so much!

Went to Burger King and got 4 kids meals and all were this hello kitty. My daughter really wants some of the other ones that come in the mystery pack. This might be niche but is someone willing to trade for any other ones?

There used to be a couple of record stores in the seaway mall, could anybody tell me what they were called? Cd plus, and Sam the record man that became something else. Appreciate any help

Is there any pub or restaurant in the area serving a good scotch egg? Welland. Niagara on the lake. St Catherine’s. Anywhere?

Avoid at all costs rn

Prayers for everyone involved

ANYONE ELSE FORGET TO SHUT OFF THEIR CAB AIR GOING INTO THIS TUNNEL EVERYDAY? Absolutely f***ing disgusting. Either driving into town or leaving. If I forget, it’s 10 minutes of me cursing. Simply horrible.

Okay. Pretty clear at this point he’s not going to win as mayor, but seriously… what is wrong with him? Multi millionaire, but lives on Dorothy street. Used to be a ‘CEO’ but left that to become an owner of a carpet steam cleaning company, doesn’t seem to understand what municipal politics are and today, said the city of Welland is all just a money laundering scheme.

Somebody has to know an earlier version of this guy.

Hi! Looking for recommendations for a hair stylist, specifically for colour. Does not need to be directly in Welland, though that would be a sweet little bonus. Willing to go anywhere from Welland to Hamilton, but local would be nice to find!
I have attached picture’s of the vibes I’d like to go for. I am brunette with straight, shoulder (just past) length, undyed hair (hasn’t been dyed for 2+ years). I want a good and affordable stylist. I am alright with a in home stylist.

I am very curious what the people in this ward think of Tony Dimarco. He's caused a lot of drama and cost the city a lot of money with his antics.

I am mechanic been doing it for 17 years. Just looking for some side jobs. Can do pretty much anything that needs to be done can supply parts or you can have your own supply. Doesn't matter to me. I can get the job done. Either way let me know or DM me if you would like any work done on your vehicles

A few weeks ago we found announcement posters for the 4th Welland witches night market all over Instagram and Facebook. It was supposed to be tonight from 5 - 10 at Club Richelieu on River road. We all went in full witches attire, but there was nothing.

We ran the event through search engines and AI, and every site confirmed tonight from 5 - 10. Nowhere was an announcement that the market had been cancelled or moved to a different location.

Does anyone know what happened?

The annual lights, frights and sights halloween house tour is just starting up. If you didn't manage to get your house submitted there's always next year.

At first she showed up every few days, now she hasn’t left our porch. She loves cuddles and scratches and I’d like to reunite her with her people. Yes the cat distribution system is real but this isn’t one of those, sadly. She’s hanging out on Green Meadow.

Heard it twice tonight, first time I heard it I ran out to the main Street bridge but didn't see anything, on the way home 2 cruisers showed up across the canal from where I was. Heard it again just a few minutes ago but only a short yelp.

Moving from St. Catharines to welland, anything I should know? Lived in St. Catharines all my life. I frequently take the bus in st. catharines so I wonder how the bus service is? Also recommend some good ISPs.

Is the intersection at Plymouth and Ontario closed?

Is it me or has the beer store on thorold road really gone downhill. I dont buy beer very often but when I do I always support the beer store instead of buying it from a corner store. I was there last night, I was the only one in there and im assuming its because you can get beer just about at any store. The smell was horrible and as soon as I walked in I found an ant on the counter which climbed on to me and a lady bug was on top of the beer I bought. Has anyone else noticed this as well? I know that store is small and very outdated but take some pride and keep it clean. Find the source of the smell and get rid of it. Am I wrong for thinking this?

This is a bot spotting guide I found here on reddit. With all the obvious bot traffic taken offline recently, there has been a massive & noticeable decrease in the amount of hate & division being sewn online since certain data centres got deleted & I thought this was a timely guide to share.

I see a lot of bots, & a few even make their way into our little sub. So good knowledge to have =)

Bots currently surpass human traffic online. Making up, 57.5% of all HTTP requests to HTML content, humans sit at 42.5% & dwindling by the day. as reported by forbes:

My wife and I are travelling this weekend and are arriving in Welland Saturday afternoon and staying the night.

We've Googled stuff to do in the area and surroundings. Nothing jumps out at us.

Is there any suggestions from community members?

We are a geeky and not into bars or wine tastings.

Thanks in advance
