Looking for a co author for a modern dungeon story

I've posted here before but I don't think it got much attention, so I'm trying again with a clearer pitch.

The story is about a pro gamer who quits to go home to his parents. A few months later he gets sick and ends up in an unresponsive wakefulness state for ten years. During that time he lives through other people's bodies, which he calls avatars. He can only keep five at once and he doesn't get to pick their abilities, just things like class and gender. When he finally wakes up, he realizes that what he thought was a game was actually the future.

He wakes up with a body that barely works, a family that drifted apart, and a world that kept going without him. His main goal is to fix things with his brother and sister, who were kids when he went under. While he does that, he quietly starts building an organization to protect the people he cares about and to earn a steady income from everything he picked up in those other lives.

The setting is modern Earth with dungeons, guilds, classes, and companies that bid on parties like a stock market. The first part is slow and grounded on purpose. It's mostly recovery, a paycheck, old friends, and starting a company from nothing. There are fights, but if you want one every chapter, this isn't that.

I've done a lot of worldbuilding and I'm switching over to writing the actual scenes and dialogue for the opening. I usually have trouble sticking with one story, but this one has held on, and I'd like some help keeping the momentum up.

If you want to co-write, you'd get credit and a lot of creative freedom. The one rule is that you can't break a character's established personality. Bigger changes would go through me and any other co-author. If that sounds like your kind of thing, message me here and we can move to Discord.

Where I get lost, though, and either forget or become fully immersed in my introverted-chronically-ill life is writing.

A lot of my characters have chronic illness and disability, and my written world and its supporting characters get it right. My latest character creation is a pain specialist by day, interrogation specialist by night. My other new dude is an ex-convict who ends up babysitting an ADA’s adult daughter after her apartment is broken into. I've also got a Danish surgeon in the British military with a half-Korean daughter. I'd love to explore these developed characters, or just yap about them to anyone who is willing to listen.

Other than that, *Hannibal* (2013) is my favorite show for its clever writing and amazing acting. My bestie from college says that Hugh Dancy is my hobby, and she's probably not wrong. I am pretty funny sometimes. Sometimes, it's just sad self-deprecation that comes off as funny. Oops.

The rules — genre, tone, what you can't do to someone else's characters — are agreed

Hello and well met! I'm CanuckBuck, also known as ChaosCowboy. I'm 36, in between jobs at the moment, and I've been honed in on the harry potter universe for the past six months. I'd like to say I got back into things before the HBO show and the gender swapped Malfoy trend took over the conversation so I'm not a Johnny-Come-Lately. I've been workshopping and fine tuning an OC character for the better part of those six months as well, and am looking to explore the character in narrative. I'm very detailed, I've experience handling various npcs, I'm willing to create the whole Hogwarts world and explore any year or all of them.

My OC is very interesting and I'd love to explore him. But I'm also open to other pairings. I'd love to explore OC x Pansy or Draco x Pansy, or OC x OC. And I have obviously been paying attention to the genderbent Draco Malfoy trend and I think it would be fun to explore in roleplay, though my Harry Potter would be a different beast to the one in the books and the movies.

I have been writing for almost a decade now but I have been suffering from writers block for a while. I need help in writing a novel that combines slice of life, mystery and something like it. I need a partner who can either collaborate or help me in giving me an advice for the book's storyline and I don't care for what kind of experience you have as long as you want to try.

I've been working on a low-magic, pseudo-Victorian fantasy world for about 10 years now. I mostly show this world through writing, with some art and an occasional collab. The past few years I've been converting the setting to tabletop, with some successful adventures I've run for some small groups. A focus of some of these stories is high strangeness and paranormal events in which characters encounter or investigate; think Victorian-flavored X-Files or creepypasta but with 15K words worth of story. Recently I've been drawing a lot of inspiration from real-life cases, making spin-offs or inspired tales that pick up later in the setting.

I'm looking to work with a few people to help flesh out plots, characters and sometimes stat banks for tabletop versions of the characters. There's a lot of character concepts I've gathered up with an end plan (like their visual look and basic backstory), but I'd love to flesh them out a lot better with what drives them and other sorts of details.

A few points of note before you do reach out, so we don't waste each other's time:

• I use Discord.
• I'm not a daily poster, due to commitments like work. I may spend some time to get things going, but there are times I don't reply until my schedule lulls from work. I already had someone block me because I didn't respond in 24 hours, so I'm stating that up front if that's an issue.
• Please don't ghost. On that note, please also don't reach out then vanish permanently a few days later. I'm not a ghoster unless we immediately don't click, and you'll likely know about it before that happens.
• I'm not looking for someone to revamp or rewrite my world, or push changes because "they don't like it." I'm not going to change the core structure of your creative works, please don't do that to mine. (Yes, I get a ton of these strangely).
