I see a lot of posts about how clubs at berkeley heavily discriminate against transfers, but what about frats? Are you less likely to get a bid if you're a transfer student?

I’m a freshman Econ major wanting to transfer to ieor, I’m taking philo 2 as a breadth and highkey lowkey I got broken up with the night before my first midterm and ended up getting a B-…this sucks extra because there is no clobber. Each midterm is 15% each paper is 20% and so is the final, the final 10% is from participation. I alr did my first paper and second midterm but I won’t get my results until like end of November/december (the gsi told us) I don’t know what my grade is and even though I think I did good I also thought I did good on the first midterm so I cleanly don’t know what I know 💀
Anyways I know I’ll pass but I don’t want to lower my gpa for a stupid class that isn’t even required so should I pass/no pass it?
#help

I am considering taking 161. However, I am wondering if it is even worth taking the course given how much industry has changed. Most of my experience in industry points to no. However, I may simply be unaware of the benefits the course may have. Does anyone who has taken the course feel it has really helped them in industry recently?

Hello! I am hosting a birthday party on October 31st from 5-7 PM near campus. I'm obsessed with the viral videos of people singing Birthday Sex by Jeremih. Hopefully someone will do it out of their kindness of their heart, but pricing is negotiable!

I want to take elementary Spanish 1, I’ve already taken Spanish for two years in high school but that was years ago and I want to refresh my elementary skills. Is it hard? I’m an MCB major so I don’t want anything strenuous that takes away from biochem or any other major class I’m taking as well as potential MCAT prep, but I need the units

I'm planning on finishing my probability requirement for the data science major next semester and am debating between stat 134 and data 140?
Along with one of those two classes, I am planning on taking econ 100b, econ 140 (or econ 100a if I get in), and data c104.

I am low income and a Regent’s Scholar so my financial aid covers tuition + on campus housing. This semester was the same as other semesters, everything covered, my balance paid in full by August. I checked yesterday my CalCentral, no holds, ready to enroll for classes, great. I check today around noon, same thing. My enrollment time is today 1:20pm. I sign into CalCentral at my allotted time and guess what? One of my grants is suddenly “not applied yet” and now I have a hold in my account! I owe $4,000 and I am not allowed to enroll to classes until I pay it off. Mind you, I don’t have $4,000 just laying around, you know? Spring is supposed to be my last semester here, I am graduating next semester.
Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do? I’m going in person right now to talk to financial aid but unsure if they will be able to help me and how long that will take. Also, if this is correct, I wish they could have given me a few days notice, you know? Not just an hour to figure all of this out.

For anyone who previously took stat 151a, what raw score did you get & what grade did that translate to? bc i'm wondering if a raw of like 70 would be a solid B+/A- or cooked
