There is someone who has been extremely antisemitic to another person I know of for over a year. Nothing to do with Israel/Palestine, strictly attacking the guy because he is jewish using all the basic stereotypes, drawing a sw****ika in front of him, playing holocaust denying videos etc… the list continues.
Should I report them? The only option I see is to the dean. Will there be any consequences taken? I mostly want education.

I'm a 1styr transfer (3rd yr) premed bio major at UCLA, and lately I've been feeling really discouraged about everything.
I feel like I'm constantly studying, worrying about my grades, trying to get research experience, get involved in clubs, and thinking about what else I should be doing to make myself a competitive applicant. It feels like there's always something more I could be doing, and even when I do put in a lot of effort, I still feel like I'm not doing enough.
One thing that's been getting to me is seeing people around me get opportunities while I'm not always getting the same results, especially when it seems like they have more time to enjoy their lives. I know everyone's journey is different, and I don't want to compare myself to other people, but sometimes I can't help it. I don't know what to do, where to start from, I had midterms and they went alright but not the best and it actually brought me down and feeling demotivated.
Then when something doesn't work out, I start questioning myself and wondering if I'm actually capable enough. I get really down afterwards and demotivated, start wasting time on my phone, and struggle to get anything done. Then I feel guilty for wasting time, which makes me feel even worse because I know how much I want this and how i wanted to attend my dream school.
I think the hardest part is that I genuinely want to become a doctor, and I'm willing to work for it, but I'm scared of putting so much time and effort into this path and still not being good enough in the end. Lowkey ik the final goal is med school but right now I just want to get good grades, get some research experience, clinical, and leadership experience. Applying everywhere but getting rejections. I am also just getting I also feel like I'm sacrificing so much of my time trying to build my future that I'm not even enjoying my life right now.
I don't want to spend my entire undergraduate experience constantly feeling behind, comparing myself to everyone, and treating every rejection or setback like proof that I'm not good enough. But I don't know how to stop feeling this way when everything seems so competitive.
For those of you who are premeds or have already gotten into medical school, how do you deal with these feelings? How do you stop comparing yourself to other people, stay motivated after rejection, and trust that you're doing enough without feeling like you need to be productive every second of the day?
I would really appreciate some honest advice because I'm honestly just tired of feeling this way.

I didn’t think it would remain this way but even then it’s about to be the 5th week of the quarter and daily parking is still a problem.
Compared to last year around this time, anyone would be able to get parking passes even around 6am for structures 3,4,7. Now by 12:13am all available spots are sold out⁉️The website clearly shows only ~250 students waiting which doesn’t add up to everything being sold out.
It’s even more competitive than concert tickets at this point so has anyone else felt or gone through this too?

I was standing outside of de neve the other day waiting for a freshman to sense my aura and realize that i forgot my bruincard and was in need of a swipe. Luckily for me, i spotted Wizzle, who is my hot professor’s TA. Two things to remember about him: he only wears flip flops two sizes too big (never with socks), and only wears his backpack pregnant lady style because he is a feminist!!!
Everyone likes Wizzle. That means he has a group of students that follow him around. I call them the wizzle gang. Then, huzzah - i heard Wizzle flopping around the corner, and knew the wizzle gang must be close by. Meaning? Swipes ahoy!
He was alone with the freshman prodigy Chiyo from cheese-land wisconsin. Wizzle made us sit at a dark corner table in de neve because he didnt want anyone else to see his questionable relationship with the de neve’s OMG burger. Thats what he said, but we all know its because he doesnt want any biology majors to ask him about the endangered species of fungus growing on his toes. He only lets the wizzle gang harvest it twice per quarter so they can use it to make soup.
P.S. for any biologists wondering, its wood ear.

I'm trying to lose weight this quarter living on the hill but I'm wondering if anyone has more recent insight on the accuracy of the nutrition facts calculator, or any alternative sites for counting here. For example, I eat at Rendez a lot because the calories seem accurate (600-650 cal for a single burrito), but I was craving a california roll and I saw that its labeled as 655 calories?!?!?! Is that truly accurate?? Bc that's crazy for a single ca roll, when typically other ca rolls of the same 12oz weight is around 350-400.
I then started to look at other dining halls and the calories were just shockingly high. The Red velvet cake from Hedrick was a whopping 880 calories, when Nothing Bundt Cakes red velvet cake is around 660. Like everything just seemed crazy high.
If anyone has any tips for losing weight here besides only eat at B plate that would also be helpful lol. My apple watch tracks that i burn 600-800 calories a day walking back and forth from the hill to my dorm, so I know I'll be able to eat more with burning that many calories, I'm just concerned about the accuracy of the calories.
It's crazy that if I don't check the nutrition facts, the calories are wayyy higher than i would ever anticipate. But the more talk i see online in the previous years of the inaccurate calories, I'm concerned that they may be even more and I'm not actually losing weight (I'm doubting Rendez now). It's also hard for me to weigh myself bc i live on a dorm with carpet and on a high floor, so wherever I put the scale (ground, desk, closet) it displays me a different weight.

I've taken 3 years of Spanish in high school, but not AP, and I'd prefer to test out of foreign language rather than taking an extra year of it at UCLA. However, I'm struggling to find resources on what I should study.
I have a general sense on verb tenses I should know, like preterite, present perfect, future, etc. but what about what verbs/vocab I should know? If there's a master list or some sort of place that cleanly outlines what exactly is taught in Spanish 1,2, and 3, it would make things extremely convenient and wouldn't leave me guessing to an extent.
I found this online, which is convenient, but not as specific as I'd like. https://spanport.ucla.edu/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/UCLA-SPAN-1-3-Course-Syllabus-2025-2026.pdf

asking as someone that hasn't taken ap chem in a while and did decent overall but required lots of effort
r the 1 hr extra discussion sections terrible? i also heard ae has short answer exams...? is that bad?
i wouldn't mind signing up for an extra support class if it'll help me be more successful. also i assume it counts for same cred for med school.
also how r the teachers compared between the 2

How the fuck does someone confuse that as a place to shit?!
This wasn't dog shit that I saw on my home freezing my ass off from a hot shower at the gym with my dick in my hand.
Go look at it! It's got whole entire corn kernals in it and it stinks like hell.
I am so grossed out. I saw my ponytail in the mirror and it reminded me of the turd. I want to cut it off.
When a person squats on The Hill, do they point their ass toward the bottom or the top? Actually, I think it's towards the bottom or else the shit will fall against their ankles and feet.
All this shit reminds me of the time in freshman year when I got kicked out of a shitting contest for having laxatives when pledging a frat that wanted us to take a dump on the floor to "build trust" amongst each other.
I turned on the tv to watch The Newlyweds in the background as I write my paper to distract me soon. The laugh track keeps a positive environmentin such a shit infested world. I'm keeping a can spray of lysol nearby my table. Imagine someone in their fucking costume not being able to take a dump leaves one on the floor at the fucking Frat party. Then the members think someone confused the party with a pledge activity.
hi guys who ever is working in the mail rooms I love you guys you guys are so brave and amazing . I appreciate you guys clutching up for Halloween THANK YOU. 🙏

Hello,
I am currently a CC student looking to transfer to either Berkeley for political economy or UCLA for global studies.
I’ve been considering minoring in accounting when I transfer out (or any business-related minor) but i’m not %100 sure of it. I would still want to explore different options in the business industry but I know that accounting is the language of business, so it would be useful either way.
I’ve been stuck between taking this financial literacy class because it’s something I’m really interested in, or an entry accounting course before transfer. Considering this, should I try to take a lower-division accounting course at my CC next semester before transferring out or should I just wait till I get to the UC to see? I’m nervous that accounting will be WAY harder at UCLA because of the 10-week quarter system, whereas in my CC we run on the 16-week semester system.
I could also try and take accounting 1 during the summer term but it would be crazy studying since it’s an 8-week term and i would probably take it online. I don’t ever learn anything through online courses tho, and I’ve been wanting to take a short break the summer before transferring since i’ve been taking intersession courses non-stops ever since starting college.
I am a little stuck, someone please give me some advice and intel

I am a graduating math student wanting 2 more upper div units. I was going to graduate this fall and I realised I had this annoying hindrance in my way. This class would meet the requirement.
I missed the first 4 weeks ofc but I wonder whether it is still possible to catch up.
I am asking the prof and academic department for a late add appeal. I just wonder if people have done similar things or if they recommend me doing this.
