Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out after what's been an incredibly difficult month.
On October 3rd, I lost my close friend and roommate, whom I'd spent a significant amount of time caring for during his terminal illness. Just four days later, on October 7th, I was terminated from the company I'd worked for since January 2022.
Between losing my roommate and my employment in the same week, I've found myself in an unexpected financial emergency.
I've been actively applying for jobs and pursuing temporary income opportunities. I also filed for unemployment, but my initial payment was denied over an earnings discrepancy that I'm currently trying to resolve.
I'm requesting a $2,000 loan to help cover rent and essential bills while I get back on my feet.
I'm happy to discuss a reasonable repayment schedule, provide appropriate verification privately, and maintain consistent communication throughout the loan.
I know $2,000 is a significant request, particularly given my current employment situation. I'm not taking that lightly, and I want to be transparent about my circumstances rather than make promises I can't keep.
Thank you for reading and considering my request.
