T61, Parkinson's, business collapse wiped out savings — raising $20K for a five-month bridge of housing and meds.
Hi, I'm Dave. I'm sixty-one, I live in Utah, and I've had Parkinson's for years. A business collapse earlier this year took the last of our savings and our housing. Right now we're in a tight spot — not asking for forever, just a five-month runway so I can keep up with my Parkinson's medication, keep a roof over our heads, put food on the table, and focus on getting stable again while I build my next thing, a project called ZOEA. The goal is twenty thousand dollars. About fifty-six hundred is already in from twenty-four people, so every bit past that stretches the timeline. If you can't give,

gofund.meCiao a tutti!
Grazie mille davevro a tutti!!!!

Hoilday sponsorship for my two little ones.
We’ve recently been going through a really difficult time, and since then, life has been incredibly hard for us, both emotionally and financially. Some days have been a real struĺl⁹pl0l9ggle, and as a mother, one of the hardest things is worrying about being able to give my children the Christmas they deserve. 💔
I have two beautiful little ones, my daughter Kayla, who is 4, and my son Johnny, who is 2. Kayla is autistic, and my son has developmental delays, so they both have their own special needs. Despite everything we’ve been going through, I try my hardest every single day to keep a smile on their faces and make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy.
It breaks my heart knowing that, with our current financial situation, providing the Christmas I’ve always dreamed of giving them may be difficult this year. All I want is to see my babies wake up on Christmas morning with smiles on their faces and experience the magic, joy, and excitement that every child deserves. As a mom, that means absolutely everything to me. 😢❤️
I know there are so many families struggling, and I completely understand that resources are limited. I’ve been reaching out to so many different places, trying everything I can to find help for my children, but unfortunately, most of the programs I’ve contacted are already full. I’m feeling discouraged, but I’m not giving up because I want so badly to make Christmas special for my babies.
I was wondering if there might be any way to apply for assistance through Toys for Tots, or if you could please guide me toward any available resources. **If there is anyone else within your company who might be able to help, make an exception, or point me in the right direction, I would be beyond grateful if you could please pass my message along to them.** I understand that you may not be able to help everyone, and I truly respect that, but I’m holding on to hope that someone might be able to help my family this Christmas.
I’m not someone who finds it easy to ask for help, but sometimes life brings us to a point where we have to put our pride aside for our children. I’m simply a mom trying her hardest to make sure her little ones can experience the happiness and magic of Christmas, even during a difficult chapter in our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my message and for the kindness you show to families in need. People like you make such a difference in the lives of parents who are struggling, and I truly appreciate any help, guidance, or consideration you might be able to offer. May God bless you for the kindness you show and for helping bring happiness to children and families, especially during difficult times. ❤️🙏🎄

Supporting Tim Hill’s Cancer Diagnosis
Hello everyone, this is not something I typically do, or have ever had to do but I’m looking for help spreading the word about my sister’s dad’s cancer diagnosis.
Madison is my 10 year old sister. Her dad Tim was brought to the hospital a couple weeks ago due to a seizure. On October 20th, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer and will be starting radiation and chemo treatments very soon.
Tim came into my life when I was 13 and has felt like a stepfather to me after my own dad passed away. He grew up in Vermont and worked for as a mechanic for a while. He introduced me to The Rocky Horror Picture Show and one time I convinced him and my mom to drive us to Vermont simply to visit Ben & Jerry’s. Mostly we joke around but we both are able to talk to each other about deeper things when we need to.
Right now, Tim is on disability and my mother is on unemployment. I’m worried that treatments/medications won’t be fully covered by insurance and I cannot let this be a financial burden on top of everything my family is already going through.
Tim and my mom don’t know about this yet, but I set up a GoFundMe to raise money to help cover any out of pocket copays for treatment and medication and transportation to and from the clinic. Once the fundraiser ends, all money raised will be transferred to my mother to handle those costs.
I’m looking into other ways to fundraise money locally trying to get a bake sale set up and see if any businesses would be able to hold a fundraiser night. But right now, I’m also just focused on getting his story out there as far as possible. I’ve linked the page to the GoFundMe: Supporting Tim Hill’s Cancer Diagnosis - Any donations are so very much appreciated but even just taking the time to read and share with others to spread the word would actually mean the world to me. I’m sorry this is a long post, but thank you for taking the time to read it.
