RATATA, a physics co-op where your animal gang pays off debt to a mafia toad.

RATATA is a physics co-op for up to 4 players set in an ’80s criminal animal world. Your gang owes money to a mafia boss. She’s a toad, and whatever she needs done, you do.

Pick animals with different abilities, choose a truck, and take on heists, deliveries and increasingly questionable odd jobs. Getting the cargo into the truck is one problem. Getting it delivered intact is another.

Most of the money goes to the Boss. The rest pays for new crew members, better vehicles and upgrades to your hideout.

Coming to PC via Steam, with online co-op and solo play (if nobody picks up the phone).

I'm the developer of Super Retro Race, which launched on Steam today for Windows and macOS. The driving is built around traffic, nitro and reaching checkpoints before the clock runs out.

I put together this trailer with gameplay and in-game cinematic shots of the coast, police chases and UFO encounters. You can play the full game now on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5348290/Super_Retro_Race/

I made a Roblox horror game where your lantern can give you away

Post image
• Upvotes

I’ve been working on a horror game called Lantern. You can play solo or with up to three friends.

You’re trying to get through 50 floors under Blackwood House, finding keys, solving puzzles and keeping enough oil to see where you’re going. The problem is that some of the things down there notice your light, so sometimes you’re better off switching it off and hiding.

You start in the manor, but it gets stranger further down. I’ll leave what’s at the bottom for you to find.

It’s free if you want to give it a go with your friends. Let me know how far you get.

• Upvotes

I’m making Dead Air, a free horror-comedy trivia game played through Twitch chat. Create a pixel contestant, answer with A, B, C or D, and try to survive when you’re brought onto the stage. Wrong answers can have terrible consequences for your character.

We’re playing Thursday, October 29 at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern. The first-place contestant wins one $5 gift card. There’s no game download and it’s free to play.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/N4qhj4BaWUc

Create your character: https://deadairgame.com

Watch and play: https://www.twitch.tv/dead_air_game

I’d appreciate feedback on whether it’s easy to join and understand what’s happening. Leave a comment here or use !feedback followed by your message in Twitch chat.

The trailer is a scripted gameplay preview with synthetic narration and cartoon horror. The project uses AI-assisted development.

Hook Shot is out on Android

I made a small arcade game called Hook Shot. You grab onto surfaces, climb higher and try not to fall. There are saws to dodge and a leaderboard if you want to compare scores.

Free on Android, with ads and an option to remove them:

I built combat first, the rest of the game happened around that.
5ish hour campaign, End Game modes lean into power fantasy, seamless co-op, loot explosion.

Team Size: 1

Time cooking: all together 3 years.

How do you keep playtesters coming back every few days? (solo dev, 4-player co-op)

I’m a solo dev working on a 4-player physics co-op game (getaway van, loot falls out, cops ram you). Last week I ran my first test with two strangers instead of friends, and a few things surprised me:

• They laughed most at things I never planned, like someone falling off the roof mid-sentence while proximity chat faded them out.
• 10-minute rounds were the sweet spot. Longer and the chaos got repetitive.
• Watching them play taught me more than any written feedback form.

My problem now: I build small updates every few days and need the same people to test them regularly, but one-off testers rarely come back.

For those who’ve done this: how did you build a small group of regular testers? Fixed schedule or flexible? Did you give them anything (credits, keys, a role)? How short do sessions need to be so people actually show up?

Endless Skies: a free Android bullet-heaven where your plane grows into a whole flying convoy

Hi! I'm the developer of Endless Skies: Hollow Choir, a bullet-heaven / roguelite for Android. It's free on Google Play.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.marv.endlessskies

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSzvketDAPw

What makes it different:

- You start with one small plane. At every station you buy more planes and modules, and they line up behind you into a convoy. Every plane in the convoy carries its own gun.

- Two-thumb controls: one thumb steers, a dash button gets you through bullet walls.

- 12 weapons that you can merge and evolve, plus elemental combos (fire + ice = shatter).

- 18 bosses, including multi-phase superbosses, across 8 zones and 400 stations up to the final boss.

- Free with optional rewarded ads (revive, double loot) and an occasional ad between runs. A one-time purchase removes the ads.

It's out now, and I'm still updating it every few days. If you try it, I'd love to hear how the first 10 minutes feel: too slow, too hard, or just right? I read and answer every comment.
