I came home Sunday night and my fiance had packed everything up and moved out over the weekend without a word. Zero indication, cleaned out the safe of all the cash on the way out the door. Savings account is in their name. In hindsight stupid stupid move for me but I hopped online and sold some of my Leathermans.. I made nearly a grand in 2 days. Now I have breathing room. I know that's not the kinda thing that usually gets said in this room and this will probably get flagged and removed but I don't care. I love my tools and collected them but they seriously saved me when I wasn't expecting it. So these guys are an investment, I hadn't thought about it much like that before. I'd sold one or two extras here or there as I built my collection but when the chips were down and I was screwed they straight up saved my a**... Time to start building again I guess. Thanks Leatherman.

Mine is pretty well ruined. I was taking the cover plate off the water shut off and dropped my juice.

On my way from my Ocrevus treatment, I stopped by my PO BOX and seen that my Leatherman Arc was waiting for me. This thing is nice! Will be a perfect addition to my edc, can’t stop admiring and fidgeting with it. Stay safe out there fellas!

Had to bust out 2 tools to get the job done. Toothbrush head on my gf sonicare was loose. Easy fix with some loctite on a loose screw. It also stopped working due to a leak which short circuit something and won’t allow it to charge. Now I potentially need to bust out the soldering iron as geniuses at philips just have to solder in a seemingly replaceable battery to the motherboard.

Yesterday it fell from a height while I was working up a ladder, today I needed to open an electrical panel, I couldn't find my panel key, and she went pop. I hope the warranty will take care of me. My wave has been my companion and never let me down.

I looked long and hard to find any in Sweden but no luck.
Not on Amazon. No swedish stores. No European stores that will ship. No us stores that will ship.
Found on ali express but received wrong item (pair of turbo stickers for some car)
Where can I find bits that I can use to open up a gen 1 wave?

Ive been rockin this charge+ for the passed few years as my daily carry, im looking at getting the surge+ pvd or the arc, im leaning towards the surge due to the strength of the tool and the pliers look beefy plus all the mods but i like the one hand operation of the arc but the pliers dont look that beefy lol my charge+ pliers i only use for medium duty task in fear of warp or break watcha yall can thinkin me for eh im in construction so i need something durable

Picked up the Charge TTI during the recent prime day for $99. Was originally going to check it out for a bit and sell/gift it thinking how good could it be compared to the arc? Man this thing is so solid. I love the free series tech and its ease of tool deployment, but the tti feels like it’s built to last a lifetime. It takes the traditional multitool layout to the ultimate level of quality and durability. I’ve never enjoyed digging out tools with your nails, especially when the tool is tight and even loosening the screw pivots doesn’t change much due to certain design tolerances. Hence my love for free tech. My particular model is easy to get implements out without too much force, and the movement is very smooth and deliberate feeling. This is my first charge series. I hope other have the same experience. I played with a wave alpha when it came out and it doesn’t feel as premium as the titanium. I’ll be giving this a go as a daily then make the hard choose of gifting it to my father in law.

I recently bought a leatherman arc and some accessories and was looking for a holster for them all that fit the specific criteria I wanted and I couldn't find one so I asked my friend very kindly if she could modify the one I already had and she's done an amazing job! Pictures attached 😎
The side elastic holds the leatherman ratchet bit driver and the 711L accessories that i bought! (The right angle ratchet and the socket 1/4 inch socket attachment!)
And the front elastic/pouch can hold the leatherman bit kit so I now have everything i need in one handy custom made holster which i can attach to my bag or belt or take it off and carry in a pocket!
I love it!

Leatherman Fuse was nothing short of amazing. Tighting guitar jacks, sorting drummers stands, changing batteries, emergency nail clipping, just so handy tool that was with me everywhere I went with my instrument. 20years of loyal service, one of the best my purchases ever. Would buy new one Fuse if it was available - no lose bits and everything I use, just awesome!

does anyone know of a good and secure, while still easy to deploy on the jobsite, holster that fits a surge but upside down? (not finished just yet) but when i'm done modding my surge, it won't properly fit into a LM nylon sheath nor the kydex sheath i had for it originally (only goes in slim side down)...

Hi,
Got a chance for a used free P2 for £140….is it worth it? Or should I try to find it cheaper?
I do have an Arc, P4, T4 but would like to try and complete the free series.
Cheers!

Hey, the galvonox bits seem like a great deal. But was curious if anyone’s damaged the leatherman bit holder with them. I know they have a higher 59 hrc hardness, so my worry is that harder metal could cause additional wear on the bit holder/retention spring. Has anyone experienced this?

I am interested in replacing the scissors on the Surge because I don’t like how they cut, and I already have other tools with better scissors. Would it be possible to replace them with a different tool—perhaps a larger reamer/awl, a multi-function blade, a wire stripper, etc.?

Hi everyone. Hoping that the well of knowledge here can help me out.
I have a Charge AL in black that I purchased over 20 years ago. It was a gift for securing an emergency services role. It has seen a lot of hard work and has even been used to save a few lives.
I figured after all that time and hard work it could do with a clean and some tender loving care. So I did what any fool would do. I grabbed my tools and pulled it apart. All without realising how many little parts and washers there are.
I'm hoping there is someone that can point me to a image file of how it goes back together or a quality instructables or YouTube.
I did a few searches and found stuff for other remodels and replacement of individual parts. I did try searching here but looking for repair or order gave a heap of posts seeking advice.
I've put it together for now just so I don't lose parts. I think the pins/bolts/posts that the tools pivot on could do with replacement as they're pretty chewed up.
I have included a images of the tool to verify I have the charge AL? Also an image of the various size and type of washers I managed not to pay attention to when I pulled it apart.
Thank you for any advice in advance.
