Is this fixable?
I don't get wet during sex because I watched too much porn growing up. When I'm by myself or watching porn, I literally get soaking wet. When I'm with people, I'm bone dry. I am so deeply ashamed and embarrassed of it. Like even when my ex used to play with my clit, I'd feel nothing. Never been close to coming with a partner. What the fuck do I do? Will I ever get to a point where I get excited and aroused from just normal sex?

Hardest thing with quitting
I've come to a conclusion that the hardest part of this is that no one else knows about it, so there is no one but you to be accountable for. That's why I'm asking for your help. By liking this post, you'll add 1 porn free day for me. And I'm not doing this to get likes, they don't have value to me themselves. I'm just asking this community to help me and be the friend who I'll make this promise.

Day 11, need support please
So I got sober from everything but porn was my last addiction to kick. It’s day 11. I’m sad, have low energy, some brain fog, and hoping this won’t last long.
I’ve gone 90 without porn about 2 years ago.
What can I expect after 1 month of no porn? Thanks

Yesterday I learned I’m going to be a dad!
I am NOT bringing this habit into next year. I’m not bringing it into my thirties. And I’m DEFINITELY not bringing it into my kid’s life.
This year has been a year of trial and error, but also of progress. I don’t want porn in my life, but have had a hard time changing the habit. But ultimately, my win:lose ratio has been improving. That’s not enough though. I have been trying, but it if I am being honest, I could have been trying harder. I know I am stronger than this habit and I dont need to have it in my life.
Hearing this news that I might get to be a dad really just shook me in the best way. My mind is racing, thinking about the future, and also all the things I need to do (and GET to do) to support my wife, plan for the kid, get our finances and house in order, etc. it’s all very exciting! I don’t want to think about anything else. I CANT think about anything else.
And there is no place for porn in this new life. Zero.
I refuse to be anything but the best dad. And I promised my wife on the day we got married that I would try to be the best version of myself every single day. Trying and doing are not the same thing though. I have been trying, but not always doing.
Now is the time for doing.

Stuck in a ~3.5 month relapse loop
I've made it to ~3.5 months multiple times, which is my all time record. I don't understand why I keep giving in. Like to go 3+ months, I clearly don't need it. And I feel so much better about myself during that time. Why on earth then do I choose to keep giving in? It's like I feel so confident I just wake up one day and decide it's ok to give in. So frustrating.

My reasons for quitting only pornography, without quitting masturbation
For years, whenever I tried to quit porn and masturbation, it was practically impossible for me. The longest I went without it was about 30 days. Recently, when I quit porn but still masturbated every few days or once a week (when my libido was high), it was much easier and I felt much better. I managed to go a dozen or so days with relative ease. For many years, I’ve wanted to quit both at once. But now, I’m trying to quit one at a time pornography. The fact is that I masturbate every few days on average anyway, so I won’t lose anything if I continue just without pornography and I’ll gain in terms of my mental health. What motivates me to do this? Many people who’ve quit porn have continued to masturbate and succeeded in staying clean for several months, a year, and so on. One thing that can’t be overlooked is the fact that focusing most of your energy on quitting an addiction has the opposite effect and doesn’t help at least that’s been my experience. So, above all, it’s important to take care of your diet, get 8 hours of sleep every day, get some kind of exercise, create something, work, study, build a life, live, nurture relationships with others, and start from scratch instead of staying stuck in the “nofap” bubble. Real changes in habits have a real impact on the quality of life right now. Patience and self-respect are very important. It’s up to us how we react to triggers; we deserve freedom, if others have achieved it, so we can too.

Day 1
It was a bad addiction. I got it from bad influence. It has hindered me past 5 years. And all those years Ive asked myself the same 2 questions.
If not porn then what do I replace it with?
How did I live before porn infiltrated me?
Fact is, the 5 years diminished me, but I'm a writer. I've wrote a lot about porn and my experience with it. Somedays I open articles and research just to understand it and write more about it.
I'll start the journey to stop porn in my life now. Today is day 1, I'll be sharing my research of 5 years everyday. I hope whoever is reading this, may find the path in their life that they should be on.
It's never to late,
And it's never to hard.
You are no different atta boy.
Attempt and win :)

Day 5
Gonna use this subreddit as accountability, will post my journey here.
Started watching porn at a young age (10-12), thought i found a gold mine, i did not know any better. Around teenage year I released that its not a gold mine and now im trapped in it. 28 now been trying to break this habit for a long time but not success but started again and going to post my journey here. Maybe sharing with other will help make the journey less harder.
First time ever posting on reddit.

I'm ready to give up. Blockers don't work for me
I just bypass them or don't make them strong enough. I cant go more than like 1 of 2 days without porn. I feel like I'm constantly horny but I rarely get erections without porn (occasionally I get morning wood but during the day nothing). What can I try now to stop porn use ?
