News Indonesia defends gas export cuts, says it won’t be lectured on honouring contracts
The ST article doesn't do it justice because the way this supposed minister articulated it, sounds really crude and snarky. He absolutely doesn't have to make the snide remarks and should just say things as-a-matter-of-factly. I can well believe that the reductions are within limits and likely a planned reduction as we near the contract ending 2028. But jeez, what a way to fan flames

News Indonesia says gas export cuts to Singapore within contractual limits, pledges to honour obligations
JAKARTA: Indonesia's gas export cuts to Singapore are within contractual limits, said the country’s Coordinating Minister for Downstreaming and Energy Transition Bahlil Lahadalia on Monday (Oct 26).
The export cut, which Indonesia said it was implementing to divert more supplies to domestic electricity needs, started last Saturday and involves 31 million standard cubic feet of gas a day, comprising 15 million from Natuna and 16 million from Sumatra.

Opinion/Fluff Post why i think it is worth it to use your cultural pass to watch the local movie pace
Most movies about recovery show a neat happy ending where everyone beats the odds. But Pace keeps it real and does not shy away from how heartbreaking addiction can be.
Without spoiling too much of the plot, there is a powerful scene between the main character Malcolm and his friend Larry. Larry makes the painful choice to stay behind in his old habits, but he looks right at Malcolm who is fighting hard to change his life and tells him how proud he is of him.
That one moment hit me hard because it shows why drugs are so utterly despicable, they do not just turn people into monster. They often destroy good self aware loving people from the inside out, forcing them to sit in the front row of their own undoing.
It is a heavy emotional movie, but it is deeply human and really makes you think about empathy friendship and the struggles people face behind closed doors.

Let’s see what happens

Sunday’s ballot saw an unchanged slate in the party’s top decision-making body, with the 12 elected and two co-opted all returning faces. Older members such as senior ministers Lee Hsien Loong and K Shanmugam, and Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan remained.
Yes, much new.

Excellent. Looking forward to get more details and tangible results as soon as possible instead of ending up as a study. Indonesia is for sure a clear wake up call for us. Given the situation of resource nationalism its a matter of time
