I got my Switch 2 last July after spending around two years with a jailbroken Switch Lite. I've played most of the single-player Nintendo exclusives, and on my Switch 2, I've been enjoying a variety of genres, from JRPGs, FPS, strategy, puzzles, and roguelikes to sports, racing, and open-world RPGs. So I'm pretty happy with the variety of games available.

One thing I haven't really explored yet is online multiplayer on the Switch. Games like Splatoon 3, Smash Bros. and FC 26 have caught my attention, but I'm particularly interested in the new COD MW4 on Switch 2.

The last time I seriously played multiplayer FPS games was back in the BlackShot and CS days on PC. I know how addictive competitive multiplayer can be, though, because I've been playing Dota 2 on SEA servers since 2015 and have around 1,500 hours in it. 😂 Despite all the toxicity, there's just something about online multiplayer that keeps pulling you back in. I'm wondering if COD will scratch that same itch.

For those who have played the new COD on Switch 2, I have a few questions:

• Performance: How does it run in handheld and docked mode? Is it a stable 60 FPS in both, or are there noticeable drops?
• Handheld experience: Does it look and feel good on the Switch 2 screen, especially during fast-paced multiplayer matches?
• Docked performance: I played Deadzone: Rogue, and its frame rate was capped at 30 FPS when docked in my setup, while handheld felt different. I'm hoping COD can deliver a smooth 60 FPS experience regardless of the mode.
• Nintendo Switch Online: Does COD MW4 require an NSO subscription to play online multiplayer?

I'm mainly looking for a smooth, responsive FPS experience that I can enjoy both handheld and docked.

What is the point of having a pre-order system if Walmart is just going to cancel the order a couple days before shipment? Now I have a few other games and a case ready to go on Christmas morning as a big gift, and no console serving this week. Now I get to spend the next two months frantically hunting for one because Walmart can’t figure out how to do pre-orders. 🤬

I noticed that on Amazon and Walmart the price of OoT differs drastically, and I don’t know where to purchase not because of pricing but because I do want to get the Foil edition and I don’t know if every retailer is selling that one at launch or only if I buy it from the Nintendo website

Does anyone else get sick or nauseous at regular stick gameplay? I have exclusively played on PC for years because programs exist to activate gyro FOR ANY GAME. You can play every game on controller with gyro activated.

The console industry notoriously lags behind PC but the Nintendo Switch 2 seemingly placed emphasis on gyro with joycon mouse control. As the NS2 ages, this is starting to look like a gag feature more than a console priority. For anyone like myself that has gotten used to gyro, we will likely have to wait 1-2 more console generations before it becomes undeniable for the industry to start prioritizing gyro. It's embarrassing and laughable considering how expensive some of this hardware is.

I'll see everyone in 12 years for the 60fps vibrant visuals update on the Nintendo switch 3.

I want to buy a switch 2 Zelda edition and buying it from a local store costs 600€ so I really hope I can get it from the online store. So far I really haven't been able to find it in stock but I was expecting bigger restocks with the release. Is there any information or good guesses on how feasible it would be to find it in stock this coming weeks?

Okay, I was at the 60+ hrs mark, sure had some fps drops here and there but MOSTLY I had an amazing time, game looked and played good, considering the system we're playing on game was amazing.

Yesterday i got home, I updated it, installed a few mods (literally just hair mods because I liked hairstyle and hair colouring ones) and i launched the game.

JESUS FUCKIN CHRIST!!!

1. Bugs, a lot more bugs.

2. Interface issues, sometimes they're just not showing up? Sometimes my inventory isn't showing up, sometimes ingame stuff.

3. FPS drops very very often and gameplay is ridiculous.

4. Dashing has a weird delay.

5. Game looks ridiculous? Sometimes I can't see anything it's so bright, messed up HDR probably.

Did the mods break the game? Or the update itself.. what the fuck.

Am beyond devastated, now I'll get OOT and have no means of playing it on release.

Nintendo should strike down everyone who attempts this, I bought the console with my hard-earned money as well as the different accessories & games.

I don’t think this should be a question to anyone, but you’re legally not allowed to download these games for free.

I email Nintendo as many emails of accounts trying to spread the recomps of games around, and I suggest everyone here to do the same if they don’t wanna feel like they’ve been scammed.

Everything I order comes the Next day, but some reason the Switch 40 Anniversary, switch, controller, even case all show Nov 2nd delivery. I'm wonder if it will really be Nov 2nd or if that more of derp on the display?

My game always closes since the update 2.5 arrived at S2, I have the game card, and digital data on S2 memory (no sd). I tried to restart the console, uninstall game files, check files and a lot of things. Is there a problem with the update? I don't think it's my S2 because I play other game cards without crashes, also digital games. It's only Cyberpunk :(

Anybody feel like switch 2 games printing has had lots of imperfections/mis cuts recently? I feel like there is creasing or unaligned spines with games more of recent. I feel like a few switch 1 games had this problem but feel like it’s becoming more common with switch 2 games as of recent

Anyone notice the fps drop on handheld? Working fine last night, tried today and getting what feels like 40fps instead of 60fps in competitive games. Bit strange.
