Announcement PSA: A guide to better results

1.8k Upvotes

Hi guys and gals. I've been here a while, and over my time I've seen a lot of posts sink to the bottom, without a single answer, or at best, very few. And none that solved the case.

I have noticed a clear pattern with these posts, and I will now share with you my tips to you newbies, so that you can get the help you need.

Firstly: When you make a new post, you will see this:

Platform(s):

Genre:

Estimated year of release:

Graphics/art style:

Notable characters:

Notable gameplay mechanics:

Other details:

Even though, in red, you are warned that while optional, you should follow this template... many of you do not.

Let me be clear: Follow this template.

Put simply, this template contains all the information we really need to solve your problem. Virtually every time I click a post that has not followed this, they have rambled on about nothings, while omitting critical details.

This format, for new and old alike, is very readable, and prompts for every data-point needed.

I know that you want to customize your message, that if you could just explain it, it would be better. I know you think that. You are wrong. Put all that in 'other'. Even if you end up saying it twice, follow the template.. add to it your story at the bottom.

Secondly: Following this template. You're rambling about your best mates Amiga-500 or whatever instead of telling us about the game aside, this is where they really go wrong.

Let's get something straight right now. We are not mind readers. It's impressive, really, how little information it seems we can work off. I mean, we solve some real tough ones with nothing sometimes, but still, we can't see that memory in your head. So you need to be as descriptive in every one of these fields as you can be...

And sometimes you really don't know. That's fine, we can work with surprisingly little information, but "old graphics" under art style... what are we supposed to do with that? Mate, I was playing on Atari-2600's, are we talking Wizard of Wor here?

Let me help you out a bit:

Platform(s): Whatever you played it on. But unless it's really all you know (very possible), don't write 'my mates pc'. Was it PC or Mac?

Genre:

First person does NOT imply shooter. Nor do any of the others. Try to answer this one in two steps:

What was the camera like (assuming it's not a text adventure)? Was it First person?, 3rd person, 2d? Top down or side on? Or maybe even isometric 2d?

Then, what kind of game? Real time strategy, point and click? Was it a fighter, action or platformer?

Good, now we know what KIND of game we are all trying to remember for you.

Estimated year of release:

"Between 2000-2005" is fine, something like that. "Mid 90's maybe?". I don't see many people mess this up, but I have seen people write "old". That is not ok. If you write old and expect it to mean anything to me, I will fight you.

Also, as always "Sorry, no idea" is always acceptable but try to give at least something. "Couldn't have been later than 2015, though"

Great, so even if roughly, we know WHEN.

Graphics/art style:

THIS. This is where you guys always mess up. This section right here I have found can be the difference between an answer, and a silent slink to the bottom. This is your moment.

This, really, should be the best-formed part of your memory. Even if you can only remember a single frame, a single image, it's so much to go on for us.

DETAIL. Was it a gloomy grimdark world of sadness, or a bright bubbly rainbow filled Mario-world?

Was it cartoony, or otherwise stylized somehow, or was it trying to be realistic?

Anything notable about the art direction? Was it going for a cyberpunk kinda feel, or a gritty war realism dirt and blood sort of direction?

If it was set over a long time, did the seasons change? Was there a winter in your game?

Remember when you hit people, and the screen had that awesome flash and your hands got bloody? Yeah, well we don't, unless you tell us.

Ok, so now we are really narrowing it down. This right here is often enough to go on, on its own.

Notable characters:

Anything at all you can remember here.

"There were only tanks, but you could play as both Germans and Americans"

"There was one really tough guy right after you left your office, he had an eyepatch, a white shirt with what looked like grease stains, and said 'this is for my sister'. I think maybe he was a cyborg"

"You play as some kind of Asian girl, you had a tattoo over your right eye and arm, a black tank top and white pants and I remember you always had only one red glove for some reason. I don't remember the arm, but the eye tattoo looked sort of like ancient Egyptian eye makeup, but a modern take"

Knowing nothing else about the game, I bet that last one there gets comments noting the game she is from. Details, details.

Notable gameplay mechanics:

Surely, you get the idea by now. This is tied with the importance of the graphics/art style. As much detail as you can here.

Other details:

NOW you may blab on about how you only played this game once at a winter solstice in 1782 with your grandmother from Tahiti.. as if that helps.

Edit: So it's been brought up that the template doesn't appear on mobile. While /u/wipeout4wh is aware of this and hopefully, something can be done... still, if you can, use the template. If you can't, maybe check back and at least make sure your post addresses all of the points the template does.

Also, my post seems to be saying NOT to add any custom details. So I want to re-enforce, please do. In fact, after you do the template, feel free to write out your post as you were going to without it. Just put it all in 'other'. Don't try and make your whole post like that, if possible. Even if you end up saying the same things twice, that's ok.

Now I'm going to take a moment to clarify something, though. This isn't some immutable law of the universe, and your post is destined to fail if you don't do this. It's just a very strong general trend I have noticed over a long time.

It's not that this template has some kind of magical powers or something. It's that this template prompts the questions that need answers.

When you go all rogue on us and try and type your explanation from scratch... you mess it up. You just forget to add everything that you know, and that we need to know. The template makes it very hard to do that. It's just so very easy to get typing, and by the end forget to tell us what kind of game it actually is. Especially when you are getting random flashbacks, and hazy memories, and you start getting frazzled and such halfway though.

While it might make my edit as long as the first post, I think maybe an example of the kind of post that is just too common here, and almost always helpless, wouldn't go astray here. So here we go:

Now this one is a pretty bad case, true, and I suppose might even be a troll post, but it's actually a good illustration of the problem either way.

It was on my old computer and I was using an emulator so I have no idea what system it was for. It was 8bit graphics and you played this orange cat that was constantly bouncing on a trampoline I think? And you had to navigate it through the city and face a weird boss at the end that would float in the sky. Sorry I can't remember more!

Let's break it down a bit. What kind of game is this? A puzzler or an action game? Who knows.

How old is it? I mean, Minecraft basically has 8bit graphics. Oh he said... "my old computer"... I will fight you.

Why did you bounce on the trampoline? Were there platforms or walkways or something, or was it just a big open space? There are bad guys then? How did they get around?

Now (he?) says that he can't remember more, but I actually asked about the boss fight:

You say 'face a boss', in what way? Can the cat attack? Was this top down or side on? When you say navigate a city, what do you mean?

The reply:

Definitely a side-scroller, I'm sure. You would encounter a boss at the end, the boss would slide onto the screen and it was usually pretty strange-looking. I think one of the bosses might've been a clown. I meant that the different "levels" were different cities with different backgrounds, I think. It's a pretty obscure game

Also you would be continuously bouncing. As in, you had to position the trampoline underneath the cat to bounce it up

So you don't even control the cat. And it's a side-scroller. Thats pretty important information. But the real issue here is that he knows this stuff. He just either didn't know to, or forgot, to tell us.

The template would have made it just so apparent how much information he was missing, and we probably would have got a whole bunch more information. Sadly, while there were some guesses, and a surprising number of up-votes, this post is just another one to join the endless unsolved on their journey ever down.

[Meta][2026] I would rather people post with no images than use AI prompts to generate images

Maybe it's just me, I will personally admit that it feels like its petty of me to complain, however i am going to.

I really dislike AI images just in general and i feel annoyed seeing people use them because it sometimes hampers really quality posts of people trying to find help. I feel like it also informs falsely about game expectations and what people will accept as they have solved the game.

I don't think people will agree with me and thats fine, i just wanted to post about how i personally think it degrades the quality of the sub

Lode Runner 3-D [PS1][1994-2001] Puzzle like game in "space"?

Thumbnail gallery
• Upvotes

I don't have a lot to go off of, but when I was a child, my dad's friend gave us a bunch of burned discs to play. And I believe that one of those discs had this game.

It's a dark puzzle like game taking place in space, or something of that effect. I remember there being some detail in the background so it wasn't all black - you're a human-like or human character walking around set paths, moving rather slowly (turning slowly?) and figuring out how to get to the end of a stage.
There a multiple stages, like 1 to 100 or something, which if I remember correctly had different "worlds". And I think you choose them on a menu. (With maybe a preview of the stage?)
Each world having a theme of sorts.
The stages had were 3D puzzles and was seen at an angle modestly far away, and you could push blocks around (specific blocks) to create new paths for yourself. You could walk up walls? and upside down? (This I'm not too sure about, but there was definitely something about verticality in that regard) "Look at picture" - There were also things that could harm you, but of what I remember these were mostly fire balls and such. Non enemy things.
Some of the later stages would get really convoluted with these simple mechanics.

I have painstakenly looked through multiple "all ps1 games" lists and I haven't been able to find it. It's the last childhood game that I just can't seem to remember, or find anywhere. And AI is not helping me at all lol.

So I was hoping that you guys could point me in the right direction, at this point I'm not even sure if it's a PS1 game. My brother says it's GBA but there is no way. It was way too 3D and detailed to be a handheld game.

I'm attaching some examples of what I think the game was like - or what I could probably remember.

*PICTURE NUMBER 3 - is what I imagine the graphics were like (in that sort of range) if not a little worse?

Thank you guys so much in advance!

[PC][2020s] Can anyone tell me what game this is from the screenshot?

Post image
66 Upvotes

Platform(s):PC

Genre: Shooter, Action

Estimated year of release: 2020s

Screenshot was taken on September 2, 2025, apologies its so blurry, this is why its confusing, found in screenshots, a cropped image using snippet tool most likely, so the whole games hud isn't on screen, adding more difficulty to ID'ing

Crosshair, and possible gun on right side might give some clue, I believe it is an FPS game, there is very little to go on, not expecting much tbh, not even sure if thats a gun on the right side could be the environment

[Steam/PC][2023-2026?] Grim-dark stylized fps/immersive-sim?

• Upvotes

Platform(s): Steam

Genre: seemed like a grim dark immersive-sim or shooter similar in structure to Sulfur?

Estimated year of release: 2023-2026? (Might be Demo/unreleased)

Graphics/art style: Stylized grimdark setting that took place in/around a village and forest. Weapons and clothing looked vaguely WW2 esque (think like Valkyria Chronicles ww2/fantasy). The character models looked similar to Mouthwashing in terms of shape and general style/design

Notable characters: One of the preview images on Steam had a tall character in some sort of brown uniform (soldier or monster hunter?)

Notable gameplay mechanics: Mentioned something about one of the unique mechanics being that you could choose to ally with certain villagers as companions, but others could become suspicious and hostile. There was some mention in the game description of a plague/sickness that could cause NPCs to become paranoid and eventually turn into monsters. Game might be somewhat similar to Sulfur with the player leaving and returning to the village after hunting monsters? Mention of combat being a combination of guns and magic/spellcasting (something about collecting new spells that could be combined with weaponry).

Other details: Vaguely remember mention of either the player or one of the NPCs being some kind of monster hunter coming home from war to take care of their sister in the village the game takes place around. I think the title was one word with stylized red/brown lettering that had something to do with the word parasite?

Sorry for the vague description! I’m trying to find a game I remember seeing on my Steam recommended a couple of months ago that seemed interesting and spooky for Halloween. I’ve been trying to find it and am questioning if it was even real at this point. Would greatly appreciate any insight!

Pilot Down: Behind Enemy Lines [PS2][2003/2006]A game where you are a paratrooper in a war, and you can die from the cold

• Upvotes

Platform(s): PS2

Genre: War, Survival, TPS, Stealth

Estimated year of release: 2003 to 2006, probably

Graphics/art style: Kinda cartoonist style (like Beyond Good and Evil)

Notable characters: The main characters kinda basic, black hair, brown skydiver suit, probably a backpack

Notable gameplay mechanics: You can die if you stay in the cold for too long

Other details: So, it was a game set during some war (I’m not sure if it was one of the well known ones). I only played the beginning and never got very far (I was a dumb kid).

You start in a snowy area, likely following an accident shown in a cutscene. You have to track down an allied soldier, only to find him dead, caught in a tree by his parachute.

You scavenge some supplies from him and move forward. I remember a cold weather mechanic that could kill you, it had survival elements, scarce ammunition, and stealth sections where you had to slip through windows without being spotted (this happens once you leave the snow and reach what looks like an enemy base). It was on the PS2 and had a somewhat cartoonish art style. The protagonist was a white man, probably with black hair, wearing a military uniform, like a paratroopers gear.

Thats basically all I remember about it. I could never progress, and Ive never managed to track it down since growing up. I didnt even have the game case, just the disc. Im hoping someone might recognize it, it seems like a rather obscure title. Google always says its Extermination, but isnt that one.

Caster [PC][2010-2015] an old 3d game where you go on missions to find a tree that restores the world

Post image
4 Upvotes

I remember playing this game as a Demo, it was on linux Ubuntu alongside games like red eclipse, Red cube and OpenArena. The game was about a boy that kinda looked like megaman, you can also choose a girl that had a long blonde pony tail, basically it was the type of game where you'd have a shop and load out in the menu then there's a section where this voice would tell you what your next mission would be and you'd spawn in on the map for said mission.

The goal of the game was to either collect all the big glowing orbs or to find a hidden tree and interact with it, doing the interaction an animation would play showing the tree growing and healing the land, then the mission would end and you'd be sent back to the mission select screen.

[Mobile/iOS+Android?][2010s] Mobile game called Sweet Shop?

• Upvotes

I played this mobile game as a kid that i’m 99% sure was called Sweet Shop. Premise was you played as a little blonde girl and animals would walk into the shop- I remeber there for sure being dogs and pandas- then sit down and you’d give them sweets depending on the icon above their head. I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find anything about this game, does anyone else remember it or just me??

Device 6 [iPhone][2010s] puzzle mystery book app?

Okay, bit of a weird one but in the mid-late 2010s I played an iPhone game that was like, a mystery book? It was a white background with black text and red accents. I vaguely remember there being a bear or bear statue at one point, possibly on a roof. I think you had to rotate the screen and other interactive stuff. It might have made you turn your flashlight on at one point too? There was also some audio. It also may have been spy themed? The art for it may have been a silhouette of a man, black on a white background.

One of the first couple pages is going down the stairs, as like visual/concrete poetry. Bit of a house of leaves vibe in that way, but just the structure, the substance was very much a mystery game. It didn't really read like a book, but it was like a text-based game. May have had "i" in the name, and may have been an iPhone exclusive. I think it cost a couple bucks and had no ads. I played on someone else's phone (had an android at the time) so it's not in my purchase history. The person whose phone I played on no longer owns any apple devices, so they can't check theirs either. They don't remember the title but did remember the bit about the stairs and the bear.

It was the kind of game you can really only play once every couple years, because it's a mystery and all that. But I no longer remember much of it, which means it's the perfect time to play it again. Unfortunately, that also means I no longer remember any of the important identifying information about it, like the title.

[Steam/PS5][201x-2024] Driving, Looting, & Shooting Game in the Middle East

Platform(s): PC or available on the PS5 playstore

Genre: driving, looting, and shooting survival. Think Endgame: Road to Salvation but there's no zombies or alien invasion.

Estimated year of release: Not sure. Sometime between 2015-2024 is my best guess.

Graphics/art style: 3d. low polygon but semi-realistic. I believe it was in first person but you could switch to third person.

Notable characters: MC is a white male in the military. He's the sole survivor of a helicopter crash. There's no character customization. You cannot recruit any characters.

Here's what I remember about the game: The game starts with a military helicopter being shot down and crashing in some desert in the Middle East. The goal is to get to some military checkpoint by following the highway. You can search the helicopter crash for supplies. You are also given a random vehicle, but you can choose not to take it. Along the highway, there are various points of interests, such as enemy camps or military bases, that you can raid for weapons, gear, and sometimes vehicles. After a certain distance, you encounter an abandoned gas station and a shop. At the shop, you could save your game by sleeping in a small side room. There was also a chest where you could store excess loot in between these save points. Occasionally, enemy cars would spawn and try to kill you. I remember their AI wasn't very good as they had a tendency to run into the gas station pumps, causing the whole place to explode. I believe the enemy could also get out of their vehicles and shoot at the player. I think you could also cheese the AI into fighting each other. I also remember a helicopter boss battle that triggered when you were close to the end checkpoint. You basically had to avoid the rockets and shoot down the helicopter while enemy cars chased after you. I believe the game or level ended shortly after this fight. Also, there was a day-night cycle.

Other details: I watched someone play this game back in 2024 but, I can't remember if it was a friend playing on their PS5 or if it was an old VOD of Tomato's. I might be combining two games, so any imperfect suggestions are welcome and helpful! I know for a fact I am not thinking of the Long Drive. Thanks in advance!

[PC][Late 90s to Early 2000s] Spaceship Side-scrolling Shooter

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Side-scrolling Shooter. Maybe also arcade?

Estimated year of release: mid-2000s? Could also be late 90s

Graphics/art style: Steampunk I think?. Lots of metal and purple electricity

Notable characters: The helper ship. See below

Notable gameplay mechanics: Okay this is the one thing I really remember about this game. There's a power up you either find en route or get from defeated enemies that gives you a second shooter spaceship that flies with you. But this helper ship can stun enemies when you tap the space bar. I thought back then that the second ship was like a "player 2" mechanic when I played this with my brother (I was the helper ship), but I could be wrong

[PC][2000s] Obscure grim 2D fantasy strategy/card game with static top vs bottom card combat

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to track down this PC game for years. I originally played it off an old 250-in-1 compilation CD in English back in the 2000s, and it had a really dark, grim atmosphere.
Here is how the game worked:
The Campaign & Map: You started the main campaign right by a simple castle on a 2D/isometric map. As you roamed around exploring, you could head up north to find and recruit a solid mid-tier yellow/gold mounted cavalry unit.
The Roaming Death Squad: But the real nightmare was that a massive, overpowered enemy army packed with high-tier Knights would spawn down south and actively roam the map to hunt you down. If it caught you, it was instant game over.
The Combat System: When a fight started, it switched to a strict 2D card screen. The enemy had about 14–20 cards lined up at the top, and you had your 14–20 cards lined up at the bottom. No moving around a grid—it was purely turn-based damage. When it was your turn, your entire deck attacked. In my final fight against that knight army, my whole deck attacking at once barely managed to kill 2 or 3 of their units, before they wiped out everything I had in a single turn.
The Other Mode: There was also a separate game mode where you started completely isolated in the middle of nowhere and your very first fight was against pale-skinned undead/ghosts wearing white dresses or gowns.
It was brutally difficult, fully in English, and it is NOT Heroes of Might and Magic, Disciples, Etherlords, Spectromancer, Astral Masters, or Gwent/Thronebreaker.
Does this ring a bell for anyone who used to play those old shareware / compilation CDs?

[PC][2013 or before] 2d spaceship shooter game with hints of rougelike

I'm looking for a game i used to play on my dad's PC as a kid around 2013-2015, though I'm unsure when it released. i think it had an art style something like the first Magic The Gathering game with the color palette of Bloons TDS, your player ship was fairly small and could move forward and backward and side-to side, and the game had a bird's-eye-view camera position and scrolled from top to bottom, so the ship's forward is the player's up. the background started as a bright grassy plain with a dirt path down the middle and gradually changed. some enemy ships would drop upgrades and power-ups and the rougelike part really just came from which ones you collected and which ones you let fly past you off the screen, your bullets mostly looked like little fireballs of a few different colors mainly pink, orange, and green if i remember correctly and most enemy bullets were cyan.

[PC and console] [2010], rooms dungeon bit game about necromancy(?)

• Upvotes

8 or 16 or some number of bit art style

You go through rooms and have combats based on the order(?) you put them. So you'd put ones with shields at the front, and so on. You move to other rooms like shop rooms and boss rooms, and add different skeletons to your grid.

Probably late 2010's

Return of the Obra Dinn [Steam][2020's?] Mystery deduction game

Platform(s): Steam

Genre: Puzzle

Estimated year of release:

Graphics/art style: Sepia/ particles?

Notable characters:

Notable gameplay mechanics: a scene plays and a gunshot is heard. The scene stops and you are able to walk around I think a Pirate ship, but you have to determine who died and who shot him based on text.

Other details: The art is 2d/3d? It looks like a 2d picture but as you walk around it is made of dots making it look like a 3d picture.

[PC][maybe 2025 or at least after 2022] Saw this 3rd person action game in a YouTube video where you ride in a sleigh with a light blue furry NPC, possibly during a Christmas event

• Upvotes

I am very serious about trying to find the name of this game, I need the knowledge of the collective gamer hivemind, so I am going to try to provide as much as I can meaningfully remember and answer any questions.

Platform(s): PC (probably)

Genre: 3rd person action, live service

Estimated year of release: I remember seeing the YouTube video maybe around end (maybe Nov or Dec) of 2025, but at least after 2022

Graphics/art style: 3D, looked like a Korean MMO like Black Desert Online, but may or may not be Korean or a MMO

Notable characters: I only remember seeing in the YouTube video this light blue colored humanoid furry NPC that rides in a sleigh with you around a town. A furry is an anthropomorphic normally humanoid character, I tried looking for things that looked like this NPC online, this is the best I was able to find so far, except I think this furry NPC didn't wore clothing and maybe had more of a blue hue. Player characters looked like all humans like in a typical Korean MMO

Notable gameplay mechanics: Unfortunately never played the game, but I think the game was live service, probably free to play but not 100%, I think the game sells you cosmetics as a part of its monetization

Other details: I only remember seeing this promotional YouTube video a while ago, maybe around end of 2025 but could be earlier. I only remember in the video they were talking about what I think was a Christmas event where you are riding around a town with a light blue colored humanoid furry NPC in a Sleigh. roughly resembling a character like this, but likely without clothing and of a more blue hue from what I remember. I am almost certain the game was a live service game, likely free to play. I have rummaged through my brain to try to remember as much as I can, but I feel like this is about all I can remember. If there are any questions you think might help you find this game, please ask away.

Games that I am certain it is not:

  • Black Desert Online
  • Lost Ark
  • Throne and Liberty
  • Any Monster Hunter games
  • Any Final Fantasy games

[Mobile][2017–2019] 2D platformer with detailed pixel art, underground laboratory and a helicopter

• Upvotes

I'm trying to find an Android game I played as a kid, probably sometime between 2016-2019.

It was a 2D side-scrolling platformer with action elements. The graphics were detailed, high-quality pixel art, with a somewhat dark atmosphere, but it wasn't a horror game.

You controlled a human character and progressed through linear levels, jumping over obstacles and solving small puzzles along the way.

I only remember two parts of the game:

- One level involved descending into a cave that led to an underground laboratory or scientific facility.

- At some point, you took a helicopter to travel to another building, which seemed to lead to the next level.

I played it on Android, and I suspect it may have been removed from the Google Play Store since then.

The game reminds me a bit of Space Expedition in terms of its art style and atmosphere

Does anyone recognize this game? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Battle Panic [Flash][2011-2015] Strategy/Fantasy game that involved defending your castle from orcs/goblins

Post image
• Upvotes

ft. my hastily made paint drawing

Hi all! I've been looking for this game for years, its kinda a cartoony game but it was actually quite in depth. It didn't have any specific characters but I do remember that youd have a castle to defend, and a barracks outside your walls (similar to the configuration i have above) that would spawn various troops to fight the approaching enemies

You could take your troops around the map to kill additional enemies. I also vaguely remember a boss fight involving some sort of giant/golem. There were 3(?) types of troops, I remember standard warriors, mounted knights, and archers. was 2.5d I believe

I played this game on armorgames back in elementary school (2011-2015) and as far I can tell it doesnt seem to be on the site anymore.

any help would be appreciated!! thank you :)

[youtube][horror][old style graphics][2024--2026] a markiplier gaming video where he had to crawl through tunnels or pipes??

• Upvotes

ok so my partner and i feel like we're going crazy. we recently played this game called pipes on roblox, and it made us recall a gaming video mark made where he had to crawl through tunnels and pipes, facing monsters who are trying to get you all the while. we found out the game was based on one called Rodland of Pipes, but upon searching for a video of him playing it, we couldn't find it. is there maybe a video where he plays a very similar game??? or is it just a massive case of the mandela effect....

I, unfortunatelly, don't remember even a glimpse of anything specific. Maybe it was not an alien but just A THING, like not human or animal. It walked on 2 legs(?) and had some type of blaster . I remember a lot of locations were grassy and had similar vibe to textures as Spyro grass. There were other weird, nothing specific, mb alien looking animals. You maybe had companions of some sorts or something that helped you along the game. Played it in mid 2000s-early2010s.

Edit: more clues
Visuals are old, but not this old. Spyro is very polygon-y, My game's graphics were about at level of "mini ninjas", mb a little worse.
There also was a lot of verticality, or, at least, the levels were not "Fields", but more of "inside a canyon of rock and grass". There were high walls around the levels

Grass texture vibe

I remember a flash game and when you start you have an yellow/orange car i think it had some sort of decal on it like a flame, you could buy boost and stuff after finishing races. I think I remember something blue as well maybe the sky or menu. The game is like a side 2d view of a car. I think I played it on a flash game website called a10 games

I never post on reddit, but this has been BUGGING ME for a while, so i hope you guys over here can help me out?

Platform(s): iOS/iPadOS, i remember playing this on my ipad and nothing else.

Genre: adventure? Educational? I have no idea.

Estimated year of release: 2009-2010-ish

Graphics/art style: 3D cartoonish realism??

Notable characters: Brown haired kid with blue clothing, his friend/pet being a pink bat

Notable gameplay mechanics: art studio thing where you could paint on a canvas

Other details: I remember the characters being semi-interactive, and the setting was in the kids' tree house, I think. The kid was voice acted, and they'd (at least to me) interrupt my epic drawing sessions by daring to speak during the activity. I genuinely don't remember any other gimmicks besides a general area to hang out with the characters, and the kid would talk to the bat, but the bat couldn't talk.

I also made a very lazy rendition of the characters, not at all accurate, probably, but I hope this helps somewhat ^_^ ;
