Found FOUND small Japanese quail near 4th avenue in kitsilano
This is a bit strange but I found this small quail getting attacked by crows on 4th avenue this morning - I contacted wildlife rescue and they were able to identify it as a Japanese quail and said they can’t treat it… she guessed it is domestic and referred me to the SPCA so I thought I’d see if anyone is missing a quail?!
I can take it to SPCA but can only go in the morning unfortunately as I couldn’t make it out to Surrey before they close today and it sounds like their good shepherd barn is the only place I can take it.
I’ve genuinely exhausted every other wildlife or animal rescue option I was able to find on the internet…
If anyone knows of anything or has any other ideas please let me know! Feel free to share.

Had some fun trying out a novelty film in my old Zeiss Ikon Contaflex on Wednesday. Granville Street was a good place to test the films performance. Lots of lights out into the distance.
