What helps with benzo withdrawal besides just waiting

I know time is the answer everyone gives and I get it, but is there anything that actually helped you get through it while you were in the middle of it. Not cures, not supplements that fix everything, just things that made the worst days more survivable.

POTS and mobility aids

• Upvotes

So basically, I was diagnosed with POTS in July, but ive known I have POTS for over a year due to research and having literally no diagnosis that could sum up all of my symptoms and health conditions. But I came on here because my health has continued to get worse. Is it smart to get a cane? I have extreme blood pooling, lightheadedness, no balance, need help standing up, etc. Am I bad enough to be considered needed of a cane or mobility aid? Please, let me know. Thank you guys 🫶.

Please help!!

Around May of 2026 I had a job at a donut shop that required me to be at work from 1am-8am. While at that job I started getting sick in the early mornings but thought nothing of it. Then the vommitting never stopped. I’ve gone to the ER a total of 3 times now for intense stomach pain and not being able to keep food down. I’ve been on strict diets that did make me feel a little bit better but still had days of sickness randomly. I got an endoscopy and they found nothing wrong. The doctor even mentioned CHS as a possibility but she quickly changed the subject because my stomach hurts all the time through out the day and my nausea really only starts once I eat something. Now I’m started to feel lost. Like I need answers asap. I stopped going back to the doctor because I felt they weren’t doing anything besides giving me fluids and sending me to another doctor to add more to the debt. So as of now, I don’t throw up everyday. The stomach pain has subsided a good amount. But then my period came and it hit me full force. It’s been 3 days now of having to stay in a hot bath, not able to keep food down, and uncontrollable shaking with hot/cold sweats. I think I have endometriosis so I’m not sure if that would play a part. And I’m not sure if smoking is playing a part. I really don’t want to quit but it’s seeming like my only option at this point. Does anyone have any advice? (I’ve been smoking for about 6 years consistently. Just flower, never carts or edibles. And nothing from a smoke shop. Just regular stuff from the guy down the road)

Unusual cyst?

I had a cyst removed about a month ago. The doctor said it wasn’t one cyst but lots of smaller cysts connected like a bunch of grapes. He couldn’t remember what this was called and I’m curious too so can anyone help?

Crackling sounds left ear only

37- year-old female, 5'2, 120 pounds. Every time I hear the crackling of plastic like a candy wrapper or opening a package with plastic around it, it causes this crackling in my left ear and reminds me of the sound you hear when having a bonfire or in a fireplace. Otherwise, I wouldn't hear it at all. I don't have hearing loss that I know of from everyday conversations and sounds.

I don't use Q-tips to clean, and I don't use ear buds, but I do use foam earplugs every night for sleep for the past eight years. Could that have contributed to this?

Constant grogginess, fatigue, aching and multiple diagnoses ongoing?

Hi all, so I have been dealing with a lot of aching in my arm/shoulder joints and 'long' muscles in my arms and legs for some time now. I've also been super tired, like could sleep 16 hours a day; I limit this but whether I sleep for extended periods or not, I'm tired, struggle to think and I'm groggy a lot of the time.

My doctor has done a TON of tests for thyroid, liver function, blood counts, etc. It does look as though I'm diabetic and I have been taking meds for that which have brought my blood sugar down to the right level. I also might have cancer; I have a 'possible borderline ovarian malignancy' which I'm waiting for surgery for. I am F, 48 and perimenopausal. I used to drink a lot of alcohol but have stopped about four months ago.

I have a good sleep routine and eat proper meals, and have no apparent nutrient deficiencies.

My doctor has been making noises about fibromyalgia, which I'm sceptical about. I there anything else it might be or anything I could do to help? I just tried to clean my teeth with a tube of handcream...I just want my brain to work like it used to.

Guys please help me, I'm only 13 years old and i had a kind of intense pain in my lower rihht part of my abdomen since 3pm yesterday until today 5pm ( Asia time ), It was pretty instense yesterday, I couldn't walk, sit nor move properly/comfortably yesterday. I slept earlier at 2pm and i just woke up just right now, it's been 3 hours since i slept and my lower right abdomen pain suddenly doesn't hurt that much, I didn't vomit, i pooped and peed yesterday normally, i was feeling normal except for the pain, my parents refuse to bring me to the hospital to get a checkup, she kept saying it was my fault i should stick to this pain, I don't know what to do and I'm so scared that I'll die, I do agree that this is because of myself and my routines, but I don't appreciate hearing more discouraging and weakening words while already being so worried about myself, please give me advice guys.. I'm super scared to die

Serious advice needed soon no joke

I had a jug of whole milk in my fridge that expired on October 18. It is now Oct 27 so days of consumption were the 26th, 25th and 24th. I drank 2–3 glasses daily for 3 days, with yesterday being the third day. I didn’t notice that the side of the jug had popped out. The milk wasn’t curdled, but it smelled rancid, tasted slightly bitter, and was less creamy and flavorful than usual.
Since then, I’ve thrown up every day, mainly during moderate physical activity or cardio. I also get dizzy when standing up, even slowly, sometimes with a strange warmth in my torso. I’ve had a persistent headache for 2 days that doesn’t improve with Tylenol or Advil, a very dry mouth, and difficulty eating or drinking. I’ve also experienced diarrhea, unusual confusion, difficulty forming sentences, frequent stuttering, and brain fog. On top of that, I’ve been dealing with significant acid reflux and stomach acid, possibly from vomiting.
What should I do? Are there any remedies that might help? This has been miserable, and it’s making everyday activities difficult.

I fell down and I don't know what to do

Good evening. I fell down a few months ago and I am having some problems with my leg.
Relevant info: I fell down the stairs at the start of July.
There are no visible damage besides inflamation, but if you pass your finger, you can feel the "shape" of the step. I can even sit down on the stair and you can see exactly the angle of the fall.
It improved a lot with muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory, but after a few weeks it came back.
I am 30M, 5.9 feet and 220 pounds/ 1,8m and 100kg. Causasian.

I tried going to the hospital, but the first one holded me for 7 hours and then released me without doing a single exam, the second hospital refused to do exams because it wasn't a emergency and I don't have insurance. I just want to have an idea of what is going on, so I can go after a little smarter, instead of going to a doctor and paying hundreds of dollars for him to tell me to make an exam that I know won't show anything.

Doctor not Responding

So I got a blood test two weeks ago, and I decided to give them a few days to call me with the results, but I never heard anything. So, I decided to call them myself. When I called, they transferred me to the office and told me that their assistant would be the one to answer. I waited on the phone, but no one picked up, so they told me to leave a voicemail. I waited another 2 days, but still nothing.
I called again, and the exact same thing happened. They transferred me to the office, no one answered, and I was told to leave another voicemail. I called again yesterday same thing, Thought I would hear something today and nothing, since it was already 2 p.m I decided to call again. I even tried explaining the situation to the receptionist at the front desk, but she said there was nothing she could do since she was only the receptionist. She took my name, phone number, and date of birth and said she would pass the information along. The frustrating part is that my mom called about a week ago, and they told her the exact same thing.
At this point, I feel like I’m going in circles, and nobody is actually helping me get my results. What should I do? Do I go in person now?

My coworker can sneeze on command

My coworker showed me today that she can sneeze on command, but to my knowledge, that shouldn't be possible. My only theory is that she's somehow coughing through her nose, but she says it just feels like a normal sneeze. Is there an explanation for this?

Vomiting pattern going on for 2 years but no answer

Hi everyone,

I (21F) have been experiencing for the past 2 years violent episodes of vomiting happening approx every month and lasting 5-10 days.

It always start the same way with a difficult night with a lot of sweating then horrendous nausea and some kind of diarrheas then i start vomiting. I am not able to keep down even water and have stomach pain during that whole time.

I did an MRI, a scan and a gastric emptying study and everything came back normal.
I already have quite a few chronic/autoimmune diseases.

I am at my wits end and feel like i will die every time these episodes happen because of how bad it is.
I don’t feel heard by my doctor who just says she can’t do much for me but it’s been 2 years of agony.

I am a full time student and my studies are in peril because of this and no-one seems to realise the impact it has on me and my life.
I cannot continue like this but i don’t know what to do…
