I'm at the point where I'm starting to tank pirate and Laio rep and building cash. I need to average visiting a new planet every 5.4 days while earning 119 C-Bill score per day.

I feel like I'm going to fall short on both, but I'd like a second opinion before starting over.

Im looking to buy the game, but I want to buy the version that has the most mod compatibility. Does the overhaul mods like Roguetech, BTAU and such need the Steam version or GOG version?
