Hello, first time poster here! We got given some lovely pans as moving in gifts but sadly my partner tends to burn everything. I know none of these are awful, but is there a way to help them? The furthest right photo is the Our Place enameled cast iron Dutch oven, then the Craft Wok Hammered Carbon Steel Wok, then the Made In Stainless Clad Pan and finally the Le Creuset Cast Iron Signature Square Grillit. Does anyone have any of these pans and know how to help? All I have tried is baking soda and vinegar and gentle soapy water cleaning. I have never owned nice pans before so I don’t know if these are easily fixable or beyond help - any advice would be really appreciated, thank you!

I’m so fed up with it I went to look for another one, but they all have the same or worse lids to clean. It’s from Tim Hortons and I currently live pretty far from Canada, so I’m pretty attached to it and would like to keep using it if I can. Has anyone figured out how to clean those corners?
Edit: I’ve already tried sponges, pins, the sharp end of forks and knives, and a straw cleaning brush

Curtains are one of those things that are easy to forget about when cleaning the house.
How often do you clean yours? Do you follow a routine, or only clean them when they start looking or smelling different?

After every wash I pull this rubber part back, wipe it down, and leave the door open for days so the machine won't mold. Well this morning I took a closer look and these holes were full of slimy mold ugh... This pic is after I cleaned them out with a q-tip, but I noticed the q-tip went super far back which implies there is an empty space behind these holes. Does this gasket just need to be replaced entirely or is there a way to clean this?

Have a shower mat with suction cups. I have washed it in a washing machine, poured bleach on it and let it sit with bleached paper towels, trashed them several times and bought new ones. Same story. This time I see mold on the caulking as well and am getting really stressed about it.
How do I clean it so it doesn't reappear? Help please
What you see is ONE week's growth. One week before, it was perfectly clean.

For the past 6 months, I’ve been using straight-up grapeseed oil as my face moisturizer. My skin loves it!
But, when I wash my face, the oil seems to build up in my sink drain and around the base of the sink bowl. The drain gets backed up about once a week now, rather than every 3-6 months or so when I used a conventional moisturizer.
I feel like I’m constantly cleaning it, snaking it, trying different products and concoctions to break down the build up—but it never lasts more than a few days.
Any advice for how I can keep the sink from getting backed up, and clear out the oil buildup easily?

I think I can get into the crevices with a soft dry or damp toothbrush but the mold on the bottom got me. I don’t need it to be stain free but worried if I kill the mold the felt bottom will be damaged.

I used Foaming Bubbles bathroom cleaner all over my apartment yesterday and today because I didn’t read the description. I am a bit of a health freak, I sprayed it on my kitchen counter and stove and table. Is this dangerous?
Afterwards I cleaned the counter with a rag and soap/water.

Got an insane amount of cheap white acrylic paint on my black leather jacket on Saturday and didn't even notice until just now at work! Any tips for what I can use to get this out when I get home?

Hello,
I bought this pair of faux leather patent shoes on vinted for a friend's wedding I'm going to soon but although they said "brand new" in the listing they came with this white scuff mark (pic 2) on one of the shoes and what looks like might be glue residue? on the heels of both shoes (pic 3 + 4). How would I go about cleaning them? The glue isn't super obvious so if I can't get that off I don't mind too much but the white scuff is very obvious so if there's a way to get that as close to cleaned off as possible that'd be great to know :)

My husband and I have just bought our first house. It's wonderful, but the previous owner had three large dogs, and the entire place reeks of them. We're wondering how to get rid of the odor.
There are no furnishings. There are no carpets. The floors are laminated wood and paving tiles. The walls throughout show stains from dogs wagging against them. There's no evidence of urine, the whole house just smells strongly of Dog.
We're cat people, and our cat is extremely skittish and is certainly not going to be thrilled.
We plan to have most rooms repainted before we move in (a couple need to wait for an infusion of cash to come next year because we're making changes to the existing kitchen and converting a storage room). I'm not sure the paint will be enough.
I believe it has been professionally cleaned already, so I really don't know what the next step should be. My husband deployed air fresheners throughout when he visited this weekend, bbut I know those will be of limited use.
Any suggestions would be welcome. My parents had a dog when I was a kid, but he actually got washed regularly and the smell wasn't like this. I'm at a loss.

Help! I made this necklace for my costume and the chain I used tarnished super bad. It's a cheap chain. Is it possible to clean? I have tried dish soap and a soft toothbrush but it's not making progress. I only have a few hours! No time to replace the chain

A few months ago I purchased a 1700 square foot home. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. I have 4 cats, 2 cockatiels, and 2 small dogs. I also work full time. Usually 50-65 hours a week.
The extra space is awesome for the pets. It's just a lot harder to keep clean. I decided to make a deep cleaning schedule with daily, weekly, and bi weekly tasks. I'm going to do one weekly and 1 biweekly task every day and see if I can keep the house clean this way. Do you guys think I can keep up on this? Or am I going to burn myself out, stop cleaning for 2 months, and then have to burn down my new house because it got so dirty?
Anything I'm missing? I basically want to be guest ready every single day. My elderly grandmother is going to be moving in with me in the spring so I also want to get in the habit of keeping everything super clean now. The goal is to spend under an hour every day cleaning.
Biweekly
Clean the microwave and descale all pet dishes if needed
Clean the baseboards in kitchen and living room
Clean the kitchen cabinets
Clean the bathroom cabinets
Deep clean the mudroom
Clean all window sills
Clean kitchen island and lights
Scrub all showers
Clean wash and dryer and surrounding area
Clean TV stand and living room shelves and tables
Clean living room furniture
Vacuum and wipe down staircase
Spot clean the carpet
Wipe out cabinets and drawers
Once a week
Clean the front of all kitchen appliances
Clean and sanitize the kitchen sink and surrounding counters
Sweep and mop downstairs
Vacuum downstairs
Wipe down all toilets and bathroom sinks and mirrors
Wash bathroom rugs
Wash a load of pet stuff and human bedding
Daily Morning
Spot clean the bird cage and change the paper
Brush Luna
Vacuum if needed
Wipe off the sinks
Daily Night
Load the dishwasher
Spot clean the mudroom
Brush dog/ cat teeth

My place can look perfectly fine, then the afternoon sun comes in and suddenly I see dust on every surface, marks on the floor, and fingerprints I swear weren't there before. Do you clean until everything looks spotless, or do you have a point where you just call it good?
