I'm really just curious about the way this lands in this sub. I have a feeling it's going to be about 3/4 for Bruce and 1/4 for the new era.

WTF!?😳 I’m rewatching the Evil Dead franchise now. On the remake at this time. And I really fruckin forgot on how brutally bad/good this movie is. I mean geez!! So, again… WTF?!? And WOW!! Btw here, my sister-in-law lost her lunch. Haha! 🤣 Yet again, another movie where she losses her food. lol Is that mean for laughing? I only ask because I have not lost my food on any movie, this is the second movie on a row that she has. I’m sorry. 😞 ☹️

Anyone that thinks about seeing it on the Germany tour be warned: the production is extremely bad.

The translation of the songs don't fit the melody, the set pieces are lackluster and the worst thing: there isn't really any blood!

In the last sequence they simulate the blood by shooting reddish water out of water pistols.

Can't recommend...

Edit: the musical itself isn't the problem, but if you have seen the video of the musical from 2007, it's like a school trying to re-enact it...

Finally got to watch it a couple of nights ago and after digesting it a little bit it just felt like one big family drama. I felt like I was watching one of those bleak family movies where nothing gets worked out and we see all these miserable people and their miserable relationships.

The grandpa angle never really went anywhere and the knife as well? It just felt very random with very little thought behind it all. Anyways the gore was fun until it just kept going.

Context : I watched all 3 movies in a single day. First watched burn, the evil dead 2013 then rise. Thanks guys for recommending. Rest original triology and show will watch on weekends.

Out of all three my fav would be Evil Dead 2013
Thanks. I loved all 3 movies btw.

Evil Dead Burn

A little context : I am new to evil dead And just watched Burn for the first time. Then this one. My last reddit post link : https://www.reddit.com/r/EvilDead/s/HGjYyAS8km

I love the movie coz its gross gory and mia's acting. The way that nail scene was shot. Even the blood vomit. Her taking bath in hot water. That jungle scene where evil gets her jeez. Everything is so creative. Loved it.

Onto Next One : Rise

Shame alot of people didn’t know who I was supposed to be.

“Gimme some sugar, baby!”
