I sew quite a bit, and sometimes I need to get sewing patterns printed on A0 paper. I have been going to one shop and I find them pricey. Does anyone have a source for affordable printing on A0 sized paper?

For anyone looking for something to do Halloween weekend, The Lakefield Entity, an independent horror feature made here in the Okanagan, is having its world premiere in Kelowna on Friday, October 30.

The screening is at the Kelowna Event Centre - Main Room at theBLOC Creative Campus (2041 Harvey Ave).

Doors open at 7:30 PM, with the movie starting at 8:00 PM. Admission is by donation, with $10 suggested.

The film features a local cast and crew, and the screening is a chance to see an independent local production on the big screen.

There are no shortage of beautiful places near the water, and beautiful places to watch the sunset. But do you know of somewhere in Kelowna/West Kelowna that can do both? I would love your recommendations for spots facing east where I can watch the sunrise on a beach.

Has anyone else noticed some sort of homeless/drug gathering that happens on Leon near Pandosy? They sometimes try talking to me as I pass, which is why I generally avoid passing through there at that time. Is that just a normal downtown thing? They do have some pretty good music tho

Is there any wicked good deals on groceries or other items around the city? In Saskatoon, they have PBR auction which you can buy cases of fruit for $10. Box of bananas for five bucks. I know they get everything from the coop trying to clear out their inventory.

I have 2 sport coat/blazers that I need to take 1-2 inches off the sleeves. Never used a tailor in town and can’t afford to have these ruined. I had Moore’s tailor a pair of pants I bought there and they were unwearabley bad.
