Hello everyone,
I have a letter from 1928 where a central 10-line passage was written in shorthand (most likely Gabelsberger Stenografie). I would be extremely grateful if someone could help transcribe it into German (and/or English).
Context & Background:
Date & Location: June 7, 1928, sent from Oradea (Romania) to Vienna (Austria).
Writer: Erna (sister).
Recipient: Erich (brother, who just graduated with his medical degree / Promotion at the University of Vienna).
Immediately preceding longhand text: Erna congratulates him on passing his exams
(I'm happy to put up an image of the entire page if that's helpful
Because this passage is in shorthand, it is likely personal advice, family gossip, financial matters, or confidential thoughts about his next career/personal steps.
Any help reading any or all of these lines would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I am trying to accurately identify the German artist who painted this piece. It is a traditional mid-century oil landscape depicting a lake and a massive limestone mountain peak in the Bavarian Alps / Oberland region.
The signature is located in the bottom-right corner and appears to be written in a fluid, old German cursive script (possibly Sütterlin or Offenbacher).
Here is what I can break down so far based on layout:
Standard art databases frequently index artists by their standard block-letter signatures, but this particular piece seems to be signed in the artist's natural personal handwriting, making it hard to look up.
If anyone can help translate or recognize the specific letter structures in the surname on the first line, I would be incredibly grateful! Thank you for your time and expertise.
Lou

(17 Jahre alt (J.a.))

(Russland? Aber es sieht nach 2 R aus) am 19.5.1940
sendet dir dein Bruder Peter Hafner.

Hoping some can help, I think I have most of it but hoping someone can double check my German transcription and fill in what I can't read:

I would be grateful for a complete transcription of this German message, preserving uncertain words where necessary. The card was written in Montevideo on 25 August 1900 and sent to Minden, Germany. I can read the heading as “Montevideo, d. 25. August (Nationalfeiertag) 1900”, but I would prefer not to suggest readings for the remainder and risk influencing the transcription.
A translation is welcome, but the original German transcription is the priority.

Hi zusammen,
