beginner vocalist/rapper looking for a producer to make a song with

• Upvotes

yo what’s up, i’m 21 and have been wanting to get into making music for a while now. i’m really into artists like mac miller and dominic fike and want to experiment with melodic rap, indie, and alternative sounds.
i feel like i have a decent voice and some ideas for lyrics but honestly have no experience producing or putting together an actual song.
i have a few basic audio recordings i could send over if anyone’s interested in listening. mainly just looking for someone who’s down to experiment and maybe help me turn something into a full song.
not trying to make anything crazy professional right away. just wanna learn, meet some creative people, and hopefully make something cool.
feel free to dm me if you’re interested!

Want to pursue a dream

Hey, this is my fist time posting so please forgive any errors. I myself am a mixed German/American born in Georgia and I have loved hip hop, rnb and new gen rap. I personally have felt that I might have a nice voice, coupled with being bilingual, and thought making music could be an interesting path for me. The thing I struggle with is my own creativity. I won’t be able to make a text but I’m confident in adding on to the product once presented. So I guess I’m looking for help so that I might make something out of myself. (23M black and white) let me know for voice samples I guess. I’m not really sure how to go about this

Looking for brass player

I'm a 48 years old guy who used to play indie guitar int the past that these days spends part of my free time creating some short of ambient music.

I'm looking for a brass player (trumpet, sax, whatever) to add their sound to my music. I'm learning to play the trumpet myself, but I'm still a long way from being able to get the sound I'm looking for. So, if you play brass and feel like collaborating, feel free to DM me.

Adding some brass to any of my existing tracks? Cool. Creating something new together? Perfect.

Let's talk and we'll see

The music I make: https://ref01.bandcamp.com/

Looking for a Music Producer to Collaborate With!

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a music producer who would be interested in collaborating with me on an original song.

I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys creating music together, experimenting with ideas, and bringing a new project to life.

I'm looking for a collaborative arrangement rather than traditional upfront payment, where we can discuss a fair split of royalties and any revenue generated by the song.

If you're interested, feel free to comment or send me a DM! I'd love to hear about your ideas and discuss what we could create together.

🤍

[Collaboration] 16yo indie/art-rock songwriter from Russia looking for a co-writer or producer (lyric meter + production)

Hi everyone,

I'm a 16-year-old songwriter from Yekaterinburg, Russia. I've released a few concept albums (indie/art rock, influences: Wings, Harry Nilsson, Judee Sill, solo Paul McCartney) and I'm now working on a new one called Point Of Extremum.

What I bring: finished lyrics, concepts, vocal melodies and rough demos in Logic Pro (programmed drums, MIDI keys, sampled guitar/bass). I don't play instruments live — so I'm looking for a co-writer who plays, or a producer who can turn my demos into real arrangements and a finished mix.

What I'm looking for: a co-writer (especially a fluent English lyricist / instrumentalist) and/or a producer for arrangement + mix. Credit, shared rights, or payment for a trial track — happy to discuss.

Whether you're starting out too or have experience — I'm open. I'd rather find someone who gets the vibe than someone with a big portfolio.

Here's "Reset" — one of the finished tracks from the new album. It shows the vibe and the writing, but the arrangement/mix is still at my current level — which is exactly what I'm looking for help with: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lrbqYsa2JLmu_dj-xZ5FHryTCvYyNu0n/view?usp=drivesdk

Happy to give feedback on your tracks in return. DM me if interested.

Started a music collective - no strict requirements, everyone’s welcome

Hey everyone!
I’m looking for people interested in joining Beyond Sound, a small and growing music community for musicians, producers, vocalists, and anyone who enjoys creating music.

I’m honestly tired of seeing many music communities with strict requirements before you can join. You shouldn’t need a certain skill level, experience, or a specific style to be part of a creative space. Music should be about creativity, learning, experimenting, and having fun.

You don’t need to be an experienced producer or professional musician. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, everyone is welcome. The focus is creativity, learning, and supporting each other.

Beyond Sound currently has 50+ members with regular activities:

Feedback Week every second week, where members share music and receive feedback.
Collaboration projects every other second week.

Example:
Week 1: Feedback Sunday
Week 2: Start of Collab
Week 3: Feedback Sunday
Week 4: End of Collab + Start of a new one

We also have monthly projects.

Everything is optional — these are just opportunities to create, learn, and meet other artists.

All genres and skill levels are welcome. Keep your own style and share your ideas with others.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to join or message me. I’d love to meet new creators!

Any songwriters & producers on here?

Ok so I know from looking at certain subreddits and watching Reddit videos on YouTube (bit cringe i know) where people are begging small businesses and self employed people eg hairdressers and photographers to either work for "experience" or "exposure" etc but yeah i am kinda doing that with this post, altho at least im not begging anyone, like if u dont want to join my project thing then that's absolutely fine with me. Anyway.

Are there any songwriters/producers (like both same person) on here? I'm looking for -----

---- Female ( im a girl)

---- Experience ghost writing very personal songs, love songs, breakup songs, mental health, trauma, emo, punk, metal, folk, rap, pop punk, generally alternative and/pop

---- £0-£100 -- especially if you could do lile 5+ songs for £350 or less, i understand thats a massive ask and a bit entitled but i cannot afdord more, i had a minimum wage job and recently lost it, so even £350 is a huge investment for me, but i do obviously also respect that writers/producers deserve to be compensated for their work too.

--- Songs would be uploaded to Spotify & Youtube, possibily sang in live events, I'd sing and either you record me or i record myself and send it to you. I have a bunch of notes and drafts etc etc i can send to explain what im wanting, but it is all very messy so you will be doing basically 100% of the writing of the song, for producing id want it fully edited and finished, add in other vocals or instruments etc etc ( you decide, I really dont know about this so id let a professional make those decisions) and make it fully ready to be uploaded to Spotify & YouTube, for Spotify, i dont need a proper music video but just a simple blank or lyric video ready for upload would be amazing.

---- UK based preferably but will hear someone out whos from outside if they are really good

--- id also want somene who would be willing to work together again in the future, so i could use your services ny entire career

ALSO, this isn't for right now, its for like 6-12 months away so im just kinda putting out feelers just now, but like anyone interested is still welcome to DM me to discuss :)

Producer working on a project, seeking vocalists & rappers

Hi there,

My name is WAILL. Nice to meet you :)

I’m a producer from NYC working on a debut album. I’m looking for vocalists/singers/rappers who care! The genre is a bit of a hodge podge and ranged from house to synth wave to some hip hop type stuff. But everything is of my style, which can be slightly quirky at times. Would love to connect and hear some of what you sound like, share some of the sounds I’m enthusiastic about for my project, and recruit some vocal talent to bring the instrumentals to life.

Hit me up.

- WAILL

Hindi vocalist and a music producer required

I'm a Delhi based songwriter and I'm working on my first album. I need a good hindi vocalist and a music producer( preferably the same person) with a raspy textured modern voice, think vishal mishra...who can sing on my songs. In turn they can take credits + feature... It's a collection of 3-4 songs. I've both my own and suno ai demos ready with me. So basically looking forward to creating a team with whom i can form a long meaningful relationship.

Let's share demos then???
