Did dating someone new help anybody here get over an ex?

i’m trying to fully get over somebody i’ve had limerence for over a year now after finally beginning to accept that it most likely won’t go anywhere. I saw other people in the past while it used to be worse, and one of the people stopped it for a little before he came back into my mind. I’ve done mostly everything you can think of so far, so i was wondering if seeing someone new could actually help me move on or if that’d do nothing for me and only hurt someone. just FYI: i think im entering more final stages, but i still think about them a lot. But i dont think i have feelings for them anymore (at least not nearly as strong as they used to be), as i sometimes gag just thinking about it and think about how it probably wouldn’t last super long if we did go out since my friends hate him and his friends im pretty sure hate me

Is twitter a social media worth uploading to for an artist?

So for context i post art on bluesky, cara and instagram and also post models on instagram and used to on twitter before deleting the app. Im doing this purely cause its good to have a social media presence for an artists portfolio

My question is, is it worth my while having twitter on top of what i already post to?

On one hand the more places i post to the more chances of something working out over time, but on the other hand, twitter specifically has the reputation of peoples art getting scraped and plenty of bad actors on there.

Im just looking for a second opinion on the pros and cons

Peak human 10 year old vs Gian (Doraemon), who would win and why?

This 10 year old has a fairly average height (4’9) but is basically peak human in every other category. He weighs 90 lbs of high quality lean muscle mass. He has trained 3-5 hours 6 days a week every week since he was 2. This training consists of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Boxing, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and various other essential martial arts by the best trainers in the world. Pretty much nobody in the world his age or size can beat him in these martial arts. He is also incredibly strong, being in the top .001 percentile for his age. Not to mention, this kid can strike and kick very precisely, including the knees, groin, eyes, etc.

People who believe in frequencies and energies are the ideal fighters?

Would people who are in tuned with their frequencies and inner energy be the ideal fighters? When learning martial arts a lot of it is mastering your inner “chi” and focusing the energy, now if we get people who are already coming in with a stronger connection to their “chi” would they have a better understanding of the fighting style?

Is it normal to not recognise the person in the mirror as yourself?

I know that the person in the mirror is me. But some part of my brain keeps telling me that it cant be me, I don’t look like that even though I very well know I do. Sometimes the person in the mirror is so horrifically ugly I am scared to look at her, but other times she is so beautiful that I am shocked. But neither one is me.

Forgive me if the above paragraph is incomprehensible, I am a teenager and people often complain that the writing of teenagers is illegible

Is it worth switching to contacts from glasses?

I hate being at school with glasses. My myopia is pretty mild like -0.75 to -1.00 but still. I feel embarrassed because of the social stigma about glasses. Also besides that it is just uncomfortable to have frames on my face for several hours every day. But in no way am I getting lasik that's way too expensive and scary. So I'm thinking about contacts.

Why does my mind move faster than my fingers when texting causing me to make a lot of mistakes?

I make a lot of mistakes which I would later release after proofreading. It bothers me because of the impression others will have of me when I'm texting with them.

If sweat is just saltwater, and tears are saltwater, why does sweat irritate your eyes so much?

I realize that if you're wearing sunscreen or other lotions, that could get washed into your eyes when you sweat, but even sweating with "clean" skin can make your eyes burn.

Should I be this worried about my future right now?

I’m close to turn 30 years old and I still haven’t found myself into thinking about getting married or getting to serious about something like that. I was wondering if should I be worried that if I don’t do it, it will be too late after. I’m still prioritizing myself and what I can bring to the table so thinking about sharing my life with someone forever is not really my main focus right now

Can a person sue you personally even if you hit them with a company truck?

Let's say you hit some one with a company truck and said company is giving them the run around. Can the driver you hit can then come after you personally if the company doesn't respond or have a sense of urgency?

Which one is closest to the original meaning?

Cannot understand this. Pls help
Primary Text
An exotic dancer says to a woman (married) who was attending a strip club: "Do your husband knows you're out having adventures?" <which I interpret as: Are you guys cheating here?>
She replies with "My husband has won a few national awards." <which I interpret as: My husband is a successful and capable guy>
A few meanings can be derieved from here:

  1. He's a great man. Ofc he doesn't know. Otherwise I might ruin my marriage.
  2. I respect him and I don't think you guys are worthy enough to be someone with whom I will cheat on him. So know. He knows.

I have some doubts regarding 2 being a probable explanation. Which one is it (more likely)

What if children weren't taught to walk?

Would they figure it out eventually? or would they just crawl as adults? I would think they would notice everyone walking eventually and try but maybe they wouldn't be able to having not built up the muscle or something? Is that right?

Marvel MCU: What about the people coming back from The Snap?

In the MCU, we're told that half of the people on Earth vanished when Thanos snapped his fingers, and then they came back when that was undone in Endgame.
Has there ever been anything said about people who were in an aircraft when they vanished? Did they come back in midair, only to fall to a horrible death?
I know it's relatively trivial, and I'm overthinking a superhero movie- but I'm still curious.
