A little update on my M.E.C. animation struggles!
After two weeks of fighting with my custom curve builder, suspension rig, and terrain calculations, I finally managed to get a successful 120-frame animation test.
Still far from perfect, but compared to my last twitching disaster , I'll take this as a win!
Made in Blender.

This is my first blender creation (excluding a cube that i squished and stretched a bit) and i was just wondering if this is good and what parts can be improved the most

Hello! This is my latest project in Blender 5.2 & Substance Painter. After 3 Weeks of working on it on my free time I'm finally done! This was very fun to create up to the point of UV & Baking (I'm tired boss). Of course if you have any questions please let me know.
I've also recorded a Timelapse with the Full Workflow in-case you are interested: https://youtu.be/rpwBqga1UaI

Hey everyone! I’m working on this stylized weapon for my game and would love some feedback on the design.
I’m especially curious about the first impression: without reading the labels, what would you expect it to do? Which parts of the design give you that impression?
Does the silhouette read clearly, and do the shapes and colors feel cohesive? Is anything confusing, too busy, or missing?
I’ve included two angles and a close-up of the details. Feedback on the modeling, materials, and lighting is welcome too. What would you change or push further?

We were working on this one on and off for a couple weeks, and it ended up being a fairly big project (at least for me). I’ve worked with Sweeper many times and I always am surprised at how far he pushes the details in the scene. Anytime we work together we try to hit a new level and I think with this one it’s my favourite collab we’ve done yet.
The way this worked was I came to him with the basic idea, made a rough scene and sent it over. He would add stuff, send it back, and we just went back and forth with the whole thing until we had both a daytime and nighttime version ready. We both worked on both ones but I did more work on the night lighting, and he did more work on the day lighting.
As for the amount of stuff in the scene and rendering - this one really started bogging down in the last quarter of working on it. It got so bad that it said it would take 10 hours to render 1 frame, and it turned out something got added to the scene that just broke it (sweeper fixed it and told me it was something to do with something accidentally being duplicated 400 times, I’m not sure exactly what it was). Anyways he fixed that and then it would render in a couple minutes.
Usually if a scene breaks like that there’s just 1 or 2 things to fix before it becomes usable and normal again. In such a big scene like this though it gets really hard to keep track of stuff sometimes. I kept accidentally moving random objects around that were in a weird parent hierarchy and then not noticing until half an hour later, or after we rendered it.
We really wanted to lean into art deco, dieselpunk styles (maybe didn’t come out 100% like that), but I’m super happy with the overall vibe in these.

After making the donut, I decided to try modelling Tommy Vercetti from GTA: Vice City.
This is my first character modelling project, and it's still unfinished. I'm learning as I go, so there's definitely a lot I need to improve.
Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback! What should I focus on improving next?

I followed the lovechan tutorial on youtube but did my own character design to create a low poly character. The rigging was okay but the weight painting was where I struggled the most. I tried to do a little idle animation but that looked stiff and unnatural so I will have to work on that.
Still I'm very happy with how my character turned out can't wait to do more!
Venetian carnival mask made for the weekend challenge on the Blender Artists forum. The feathers were made with Geometry Nodes using hair curves.

Still quite new to Blender and now loving the process of really bringing my models to life!

Had Ai generate an image of an old radio in form of a blueprint and used it as reference for modeling. Used a few of the decals in the image for the clock face and such. Is this something people would buy for 1$ or something? I'm newer at modeling and don't mind just giving them away for free if people would use it. Im just curious because I know people can make 3d models now with a single image so not sure how things go these days.

I've been building Aquaris, a GPU liquid simulation add-on for Blender. Here are some sims I've been working on using the addon with viewport previews and final renders.
Aquaris is a paid beta ($39) for Blender 5.2+
Benchmarks use an RTX 3090 Ti and 4060 Ti (GPUs were mixed busy as I was working on these). I'd be interested in feedback on the results and workflow.

The Kikimora is a Slavic household demon whose depictions vary wildly depending on the region and country. Instead of going with the more common modern interpretations, I decided to base my version on an archival description I stumbled upon on a Polish forum.
Sculpted in blender and rendered with Cycles
if you have some feedback write in the comments
Cheers <3

Long clothese is a pain. You need to make extra bones, or do physics.. or you can make short clothing if you're lazy like i am.
This is Tia and her outfits.
