My girlfriend and I both upgraded and so happy with the new colors.

I came from a pro max phone and love the smaller footprint of the 18 pro. Also, I am enjoying the burgundy color more than I thought I would. Has anyone else switch from a Pro Max to a Pro and if so how was your experience?

Screen protector from FloLab saved the screen but the case definitely didn’t save the aluminum frame of the iPhone. Definitely going to try the Mous Limitless and the FLOLAB Surtech 2.0. Wish Apple still made their phones with titanium and the leather case.

This won't be useful to everyone because I got my 18P from Apple but like many others my iPhone has been requiring the password for no reason many times throughout the day everyday and is not as reliable as previous Face ID versions when it does work. I contacted Apple support and the second person I connected with started a return for me. I got the phone on launch and it was out of the return window. Ik some people think it's a software bug but IMO if it was Apple would have fixed it by now.

Edit: I know most 18s are fine and I know screen protectors can mess with the new IR projector this is not that. The phone will require the passcode at random times throughout the day (it's not from failed attempts) and doesn't work as well as previous Face ID iterations under certain conditions. I've tried rescanning and resetting the phone and the issue is still there. If your phone is fine this post wasn't meant for you.

Seriously. What the hell is going on? Sometimes l pick up my phone and before I even show my face the phone has already disabled Face ID and prompts for my pin for unlocking. I feel like I’m going crazy and gaslighted when Apple service keeps telling me it’s the screen protector causing issues. I mean the fact that it’s asking for my pin straight up without even trying face unlock points to the fact that it’s not a screen protector issue.

I really like the look and design of Aulumu A17 rugged case, plus it’s like half the price compared to A18 rugged case. Only question is wether the A17 will snap perfectly on 18 pro? I’ll be really grateful for your valuable feedback. Thanks

After 24 days of waiting, I finally got my iPhone 18 Pro Max delivered.

I upgraded from a regular iPhone 13 and the first thing that stood out to me was the sheer size and the weight of this device. This thing feels like a solid chunky slab which can kill people if hit on head.

Other nice improvements obviously includes the pro motion display, my iPhone 13 was 60 hertz, so this one feels extremely fluid and fast.

Apart from it, I actually liked the Apple Intelligence Siri thing on this device and to me, it is actually a very huge improvement. because I have to see a lot of business emails and reply to them, and now I can just tell Siri to handle all my emails.

Next most improved things is my 5G reception and speeds, i live in AD and my 5g speeds casually go past 2Gbps.

Other than that, the camera is a massive improvement. I am using the telephoto lens for the first time in my life and it feels surreal the new photographic styles are actually very good I have attached some city pictures that I took with this phone.

Battery is also a good improvement so far I have been extensively using the phone since it came, so I cannot comment too much about it.

But on the negative side the weight and the size is completely different and it will take me a while to get too used to it. It’s been only hours since I’m using this phone, and I have already dropped it two times. on a bed, though.

Overall, I believe this is a very massive upgrade for anyone who would be coming from a normal iPhone 13 to a 18 Pro Max

Nomad Sport Case
Very well made, looks nice. The buttons (action button, power) are interchangeable. The back is matte, scratch-resistant, and quite pleasant to the touch—though it does pick up some fingerprints. There is essentially no screen protection (even if you have a screen protector applied). As for whether the color matches the phone—probably not.

Has anyone used this before? Does it leave any sticky residue or cause some sort of discoloration after long term use?

All regrets of being impatient and getting the 18 Pro have magically vanished!

My 16 pro has but the dust in my opinion, I still owe money on it and the screen is completely unresponsive and Face ID/camera don’t seem to work while locked. I can’t decide if I need a new phone or even attempt to have Apple look at it.. I haven’t looked too much into the 18 in general, has it been good so far? What are some negatives to point out?

is putting this camera module protection on my iPhone 18 PM necessary? the ad keeps showing up in my tiktok fyp but i’m not sure if it’s actually worth it and won’t leave a trace if i took it off.
