Worcestershire Who Put Bella In the Witch Elm?
Still one of the strangest unsolved cases to come out of the Midlands. A skeleton in a hollow tree in Hagley Wood, 1943. A wad of taffeta in her throat, a severed hand buried nearby, no missing persons report that matched. Then two years later, graffiti starts appearing all over the West Midlands asking WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM. Same handwriting every time. Still no answer.

🚨 HIT AND RUN🚨
Hiya everyone, My husband was involved in a hit-and-run today, 19/09/2026, at 18:54 on the M6 northbound, mile marker M6 A 224.2. We were travelling in Lane 3 when a grey Jaguar XE undertook us in Lane 2 at speed, collided with us and sped off without stopping. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to get the registration number. I’ve attached a picture of my husband’s car. If anyone saw us on this stretch of the motorway, it may be easier to identify his car in your dashcam footage and then trace the Jaguar involved. If anyone has dashcam footage from the M6 northbound between Junctions 10 and 15, from around 15–30 minutes before or after the accident, please check your footage. Any information, no matter how small, could really help. Please message me privately if you have any footage or information. My husband is offering a reward for footage or information that helps identify the vehicle. We would be so grateful if you could share this post. Thank you so much ❤️

Serious food-handling concerns I personally witnessed at Direct Food Solutions, Willenhall
I want to share what I personally witnessed while working at Direct Food Solutions(Unit 3-4 Ashmore Lake Way, Willenhall WV12 4LF) in Willenhall, Walsall.
My biggest concern was the handling of halal, pork and vegetarian products.
I saw sandwiches labelled as halal, pork/bacon and vegetarian being prepared in the same general work area. What concerned me most was seeing workers handle bacon or pork with their gloves and then handle halal chicken using the same gloves. I did not see the gloves being changed between handling the pork and halal products.
Food was frequently handled directly by hand rather than with separate utensils for different ingredients.
I witnessed lettuce being picked up after it had fallen onto the floor, after which the same gloves continued to be used for food handling.
Based on what I personally saw, I was extremely concerned about hygiene and cross-contamination.
As a Muslim, the handling of halal food was particularly concerning to me. These products were actually labelled as halal. Muslim consumers buying halal-labelled food should be able to trust that it has been handled and prepared appropriately, especially when pork and bacon products are being prepared in the same environment.
What makes this even more concerning to me is that this company is a supplier. That means the food produced there may be going to other businesses and reaching customers who have no idea how it was handled before it arrived.
For that reason, I would strongly encourage any business buying from or considering working with this company to carry out its own proper checks regarding hygiene, food handling, cross-contamination and separation procedures.
Based on what I personally witnessed, I would not feel comfortable buying food produced there.
Unfortunately, I could not take photographs or videos because mobile phones were required to be kept in lockers while working in the production area.
Another serious concern was illegal working. During conversations with a large number of workers, many told me directly that they did not have legal permission to work in the UK. Those conversations gave me serious concerns that illegal working may be widespread at the site, including among people in supervisory or management positions.
I was also aware of workers being paid in cash. I cannot personally say why the company uses cash payments, so I am leaving it to the relevant authorities to determine whether there is any connection with the right-to-work concerns.
I cannot personally access or verify anyone’s immigration records, so I am not naming individual workers or presenting anyone’s immigration status as independently proven. However, based on what people told me directly, I believe the Home Office should carry out proper right-to-work checks across the workplace.
I am sharing this because consumers, particularly Muslims buying halal-labelled food, and businesses purchasing from suppliers deserve to know about the food-handling practices I personally witnessed and make their own decisions.
For transparency, English is not my first language, so I used ChatGPT to help me write this clearly. The experiences and conversations described here are my own.
edit: i dont know why there are so many downvotes here. i only wanted to spread awareness.
if you all have allergies, etc, you need to take care
one woman picked up pork bacon put it into a bun. next moment, wearing the same gloves, she put halal meat in another sandwich.
also, mistakingly she put lettuce in ham sandwich(non halal), then she removed the same lettuce and put it in vegetarian cheese club sandwich.
i asked her to throw it, but she said no one will know. i personally threw that sandwich without anyone noticing. but god knows how many times this happens

Black Country Does anyone know if there are any stores that allow you to use VHS players for old VHS tapes?
Found some VHS tapes but wanted to see if I could visit a local shop that has a VHS player/rental service, instead of buying one second hand. Anyone have any ideas of any places that do this within the Black Country or surrounding areas?

Is this a real form?
Received one of these a few days ago, but I can't find anything about it online. I've never even heard of something like this so I'm unsure as to whether or not it's real. Scanning the code at the bottom gives me a strong of digits and letter that don't give me anything on google.
Any help is appreciated!
