Discussion Snarf’s Sandwiches Rant

Am I missing something? I paid close to $30 for two sandwiches and they had a tip jar sitting next to the register.

The sandwiches were good but definitely not $30 for two good. Plus that cost didn’t include chips or a drink either.

And to charge that much for a sandwich and still ask for tips at a place where you walk up to the counter, seat yourself, grab your own sandwich when it’s ready ?

Just wondering if there’s some story here that makes them justify the cost? Are they sourcing the best ingredients or something? Are they baking the bread themselves in the back?

What am I missing here?

The company that bought the Granada Theater plans to turn it into a bathhouse is known for using Bitcoin mining to heat its pools.

As music lovers mourned the news that the storied East Side concert venue would be closing, this new twist left some unsettled. But Monday morning, Bathhouse, the venue’s new owner, assured Dallasites that Bitcoin mining would not be part of its operations here.

“Bathhouse is winding down its Bitcoin program and will no longer incorporate it into new projects,” co-founder Travis Talmadge said in a written statement provided by a spokesperson

Question Good ways to socialize in Dallas for cheap (preferably free) as someone with social anxiety?

I want to work on my social skills somewhere where I'm sort of forced to talk with others but isn't super high pressure or nerve-wracking. I've looked into Toastmasters but sadly they meet when I'm at work.

Discussion Sad to hear this is the last year for the 12 days of Christmas gazebos at the arboretum.

I loved the old school charm of them! Brought me back to a time where not everything was led lights, etc.

Discussion Rhinoplasty surgeons? Nose job plastic surgery

Any good quality rhinoplasty surgeons in Dallas area? Maybe some that also have experience with revision rhinoplasty?
Could be plastic surgeon fellowship trained, craniofacial plastic surgery trained, or Ent and facial plastic surgery trained.
Any opinions of Dr Huay Zong Law?

Or any rhinoplasty surgeons that you or heard that many others have had bad experiences/bad results with, whom you don’t recommend?
Thank you
