This midterm vote is so important and you need to advocate for yourself and community!

If you don’t know who to vote for, the Democratic Party has a booth set up out front with information.

The Evil party also has a booth but avoid them since they hate democracy and America. I say this as an unaffiliated voter.

I have been trying the store bought kefir and love it so now thinking of making my own kefir at home. Does anyone here make their own kefir and willing to share/sell some starter grain with me?

Hi neighbors!

If you know of any businesses in Gaithersburg that have bulletin boards to utilize, could you please share them with me?

I’m with the Gaithersburg Tenant Union and we’re having a free tenant education event next week. We have community legal services and a representative from the Montgomery County office of Landlord tenant affairs at the event to answer questions.

What are some older stores from Lakeforest and rio?

Also does anyone have directories or stories about it

This is from the demolition contractor's website.

Hi all 🙌

We're considering moving to Hidden Creek, Spectrum, or Milestone (in Germantown) and would love to hear from anyone who currently lives there or has lived there before!

How has your experience been overall? Any likes or dislikes? How's the management? Is it noisy?

We're especially interested in loft units. If you've lived in one, how did you like it? Were the utility bills crazy high?

Any thoughts are welcome! Thanks in advance!

Okay Gburg who we voting for for board of education?

All of these major capital projects that the city is doing with those buildings on Summit are interesting. Buildings that were largely vacant are now owned by the city and the city is paying 10s of millions of dollars to renovate all of these buildings because the old historic city hall is too small? Wouldn’t it have been cheaper to just rent space in the buildings since they were looking for tenants?

The Gaithersburg Planning Commission voted unanimously on October 7th to approve the renovation of Walder Park at 302 and 308 Cedar Avenue.

The commission granted an amendment to the final site plan and the approved final forest conservation plan. Approval carried one condition, which is that the applicant must provide storm drain computations and a drainage area map for all provided storm drains before Public Works gives its final signature approval.

Join Montgomery Parks Vegetation Management Staff and help us plant over 400 native plugs (baby plants) in two meadows where we have been actively controlling non-native invasive plants. The plants will be supplied by our very own Pope Farm nursery! We may also work on cutting invasive vines and shrubs in the area.

There are two upcoming opportunities where we need volunteers!

Costco's take on buttermilk biscuits finally arrived at the G'burg location this week! They are pretty darn good...and huge. Ten for $6.99, if I am remembering correctly. They are in the bakery section, i.e., not frozen/refrigerated biscuits.

I need to engage someone to clean my 800-sq-ft Montgomery Village apartment once a month. My budget doesn't stretch to an agency. Does anyone know a good cleaning person who works independently and does a good job for their clients?
