Municipal Elections 2026 Morgan or Stevenson?
Itās a pretty obvious split between the two on this election, except for the other votes (which may add up) but I donāt expect to come off on-top.
Iām completely on the fence. I want north & west BRT, but I also want someone to at least address the open drug use and homelessness problem weāre facing in London. Like seriously, something needs to be doneā¦
Iām a weird redditor. I support BRT, but I also seriously wish downtown & OEV could live up to the potential it was from the 70ās to early 2000ās. Even when I moved to London in 2014, Downtown had a completely different vibe than it does today. Coming from a smaller town, I genuinely enjoyed walking downtown London and also thought Dundas & Richmond had a pretty cool vibe. Donāt get me wrong, there was homeless people, but it gave me āmini Torontoā vibes, which was super cool as a young person. Many longer-time locals have told me I caught the very tail end of what downtown London used to be.
What do you think? Try to be impartial. Iām fully aware Reddit leans on the centre-left side of things. I would consider myself a swing vote for Mondayās election.

ššTransit/Traffic The driver on the left, may God bless you!
I would like to thank the pickup truck driver who pulled off the road to make space for this lunatic to get back into his lane. It was a 90 km/h zone, and this blind dude was driving entirely in the opposite lane to overtake the truck, less than 50 metres in front of me.

discussion / opinion Selling jewelry and art
Iām looking for somewhere reputable to get a fair price for jewelry most importantly. I do have some art to sell as well but looking to unload the jewelry before moving. I know Harringtons is coming to the area soon but Iāve heard they offer melt price for jewelry and I have precious stones that are certainly worth more than the gold melt. If anyone can recommend somewhere theyāve used I would greatly appreciate it!

Ask a Local! Best midscale dining in London, Ontario
Hey all,
I am looking for suggestions for the best food and overall dining experience in London, for a casual afternoon or evening date.
Any type of food is fine, aside from sushi. I am looking for something that isn't too stuffy, but still a little refined. Im not a restaurant person, so I don't know the right terms.
Looking to spend around $80-100 a person for app, main and maybe dessert, but its not necessary if the food is robust and satifying on its own.
I'd say food quality is number one, with well sourced ingredients and unique menu's are welcome!
Thanks!

š„food /restaurants /gastronomy Recommendations: Indo-Chinese Restautants
While discussing lunch options the other day, a coworker suggested I give Indo-Chinese food a try.
I'm all in. I like spice, I'm not picky, and I'm always up for trying something new.
That said, I know absolutely nothing about Indo-Chinese cuisine. Zero. If you handed me a menu right now, I'd just start pointing at random words and hoping for the best.
So, London Reddit, where should a complete beginner start?
Looking for:
⢠Restaurant recommendations
⢠Specific menu items to try
⢠Dishes that are considered "must orders"
⢠Anything I should avoid ordering as a first-timer
Itās be an added bonus if it's in northwest London, but I'm all over the city for work so location isn't a huge deal.
Help educate a culinary heathen.
